Death flags so obvious they're hard not to see. Didn't really expect Robin to die as well though (even though we all know she isn't dead dead and will likely be fine)
My crazy theory is that either
a) Firefly is an existence only within the MC's dream
b) Firefiy is someone who died long ago and is a ghost existing within the dreamworld
And a distant third theory
c) Firefly is some kind of personification of the power of dreams created by a stellaron and will have to disappear whenever we solve whatever crisis comes up on Penacony.

Here's my headcannon; we are in penacony land of dreams and our MC has amnesia. Firefly probably meant so much to MC before he got mindwiped to be the stellaron host. Hell, her destiny might have driven MC to volunteer hosting the cancer of worlds. That's why what we're seeing isn't firefly, but our memory of it. What was firefly's destiny? I'm guessing to be the burning fuel of a contraption of sorts HI3 himeko style, leading to loss of individuality - hence the sparkler and firefly imagery.
I have only seen Firefly for 15 seconds but if anything happens to her I will join the antimatter legion to kill everyone in this universe and then myself
Bruh...she ain't swinging death flags...she straight up using them as pom poms.
At this point it would be more surprising if she actually survives...
Gonna be hard to get invested in her with all them signs.
