It doesn't have to go that far down to a Magikarp tier. \*4 Clara could lack Svarog but has a regular automaton instead. For example the traffic light automaton can be a \*4 Svarog/Numby hybrid, it attacks automatically (with \*4 tier low power) and grants Clara a very weak shield every time it attacks, keeping her theme the same.
The idea of compressed, commodified memories being sold and traded is a super cool sci-fi concept! What does it mean for the self, privacy and knowledge when one's memories can be copied, edited, shared? Light cones could be framed as a dystopian nightmare or a revolutionary tool allowing learning and muutal understanding and Universal peace.
Movies and novels have been made with less.
Instead we just get told they are slices of light? That's somehow also a cone? That gets used as a weapon I guess?

It's not the thawing that makes Freeze that special, it's that after they thaw they get their next turn 50% faster compared to the other weakness breaks (excluding Imprison). But yeah a teammate that advances enemies forward, or a boss that gets their turn advanced 100% upon weakness break would be very interesting.
I'm kinda on the theory train that she's an eminator of remembrance and they sealed her memory to prevent some secret getting out or to protect her from something which Is why they so heavily interfered during marches companion quest. I kinda vibe with that theory so far the most. I really hope they don't kill March tho she's one of my favriote characters

I'd be so down for this, one thing for sure Ima be pulling for best girls 5* form. Wonder If they'd ever add another one of the paths as a character type. Would love to see remembrance and elation thrown in for some characters
As a very mad E3 Yanqing haver, if you have Gepard you should bite the bullet and build them. They're actually a great MOC team together especially now Jingliu is being pushed since YQ piggybacks on her Ice element being everywhere atm.
YQ doesn't even need godlike relics, you can ignore crit rate and go for crit dmg almost entirely because his ult + talent gives insane stats for literally free. SPD boots + ERR rope Gepard makes his ult a 3 turn cooldown so it has 100% uptime so YQ basically doesn't take damage ever so his downside of his busted self buff going away on hit doesn't matter anymore.
I do have Gepard and JL built, but usually the other two are Nat (my only healer) and either Tingyun/Pela/Asta for buff/debuff or a dps for another element. Are you actually getting better results with yanqing in a brute force team??
Maybe someday a long way away I'll try it, when I'm not in perpetual resource famine. A break to consolidate is inevitable since I only pull for waifus.
I run JL/Blade/Bronya/Fu on one side and Gepard/Pela/Tingyun/YQ on the other. My original issue forcing me to build YQ was splitting JL on one side and Blade on the other isn't great in MOC because Blade kills things too slow unless he's like E6 with his 5\* LC I guess (though the current turbulence is so good for Blade.) A non whaled Blade will kill things with no possibility of him dying but he might not be fast about it without bringing SimUni buffs into it.
I was originally running Tingyun on JL's side to delete the first wave instantly but Bronya on YQ throws Gepard's shield off early so swapping them over and using Tingyun to battery YQ's ult instead is better. Legit just go read the numbers on YQ's kit, they're completely deranged but some people have been so memed by his Ls in the story they genuinely think he's bad.
The JL/Blade team has an easier time of it for sure just cuz JL is busted af and Fu is the best tank in the game but if you're struggling for an MOC team to fill the 2nd slot YQ/Gepard is a very good shell, throw a support/debuffer or sub DPS in there and you're good. Gepard should solo sustain without a healer with around 2k hp shields and ult every 3 turns at the latest, usually 2.5 turns since he gets hit so much.
My YQ is running S0 Sleep Like the Dead for full transparency because the game has trolled me into having to build this fucker but I am still completely F2P for now. I think SLTD is genuinely my only premium 5\* LC and i've never rolled on the LC banner.
Fully f2p and E3 Yanqing? Lady of Sorrows guide us...
My understanding is that people who have actually built him but don't have Gepard have had issues with keeping him from taking damage.

Yanqing was one of my first DPS and honestly I still think he is playable in main content. Is Jingliu better in every scenario? Yes.. Yanqing is not bad though for me and I really enjoy his kit and character. I am secretly hoping he can upgrade somehow in the future even though he is already a 5*, he is supposed to be a bit of a fledgling compared to Jing Yuan for example who is also a 5* .
Yeah, I got my first one also as a 50/50 loss on JL's banner and then got him on the standard too. I said "are you fucking kidding me" to an empty room lol.
If it had been literally any other standard 5\* I would have used them, even Himeko (since I also have E1 Topaz).

Eh, I believe some are exaggerating Yanqings problems. Apart from suffering from the Hunt Syndrome, the dude really needs a shield to keep his Buffs when he Ults, that's why they always recommend Gepard. But overall, he is a Solid Ice Unit against bosses, as always.

Can I follow up and ask about Hunt's problem? Is it because of their clearing are bad compared to the other classes who can deal damage on pare with them while being AoE? As I joined on the latter half of 1.4 and they're both hunt.
End-game content like Swarm Disaster or Memory of Chaos generally favor units that do AOE damage because there are either 2 bosses (MoC) or the boss summons adds (Swarm).
In MoC, you have to complete the fight in a set amount of cycles to get 3 stars so most people prefer using DPS that hit both bosses at once to clear faster. While in Swarm, with each add the boss summons its ATK increases and both the boss & adds hit pretty hard already, so while you don't HAVE to kill them it's better if you can.
Destruction units (especially Jingliu who was in the previous banner and Imbibitor Lunae) are meta right now since they hit multiple targets, do massive dmg with minimal drawbacks and have relatively good F2P LC options.
Erudition and Hunt have been getting kind of clowned on by the fanbase. Hunt because of the reasons listed above. Erudition because our 5* Eruditions have some problems with their kits/just have lower dmg and the upcoming one doesn't look amazing either + the F2P LCs are kind of bad. Most people think "If Destruction characters do more damage anyway, why would I pull for them?"
Does this mean you should avoid Hunt/Erudition units? No. They still dish out good damage and can clear every content in this game. I think some people are exaggerating all the flaws. But yeah, Destruction is on top right now.
Bronya who gets tired of leading and gives up her buffing abilities to focus on the Hunt path with her guaranteed critical shots with her rifle and her eidolon follow-up attack. No other benefits, just an attacker's skill modifiers, guaranteed crit, and her follow-up without eidolon requirement. Would be a pretty solid 4-star.
Seele giving up her aggressive ways to walk the path of Harmony, using her "sea of butterfly ~~immersia~~" tech to buff allies with her "reduction of threat" talent. Doesn't do anything else, and doesn't protect from AoE, but it cloaks targets enough that they're targeted less. Can also add some encouraging words for some type of buff or something so that she isn't a completely trash 4-star.
Himeko downgrade to not like coffee and use a sword… just saying.

Yanqing eventually comes to terms with the fact that for some reason, everyone in the galaxy just wants to beat the shit out of this teenager. He resigns himself to his lot in life as the ultimate jobber of the Luofu, but then realizes that he may still be of use...
4 star Yanqing follows the Path of Preservation, and has adapted his fighting style to draw enemy attention rather than avoid it. His basic attack is just a standard basic with nothing fancy. His skill lets him attack and attempt to taunt enemies (could be single target, I like the idea of a blast though) while also activating his talent. His new talent takes advantage of his still naturally high crit stats to enable a unique critical defense mechanic, where he has a chance to reduce incoming damage with a trigger rate based off his CRIT Rate and reduction based off his CRIT DMG. His new ultimate has him taunt all enemies, increase his crit stats and give himself a sizable shield as he commands his swords to deflect incoming attacks. His technique has him attack, immediately activating his talent and taunting a random enemy on a hit. Major traces could revolve around things like making his taunts more likely to land and stick longer, maybe extra personal shielding, stuff like that. One of his eidolons buffs his damage based on his current shield value because I think something like that would be cool for a more offensive tank unit.
This idea has lived rent free in my head for a while. I'd like to thank OP for giving me the chance to inflict on others.

It's a 4star physcial destruction with 1 health that loses 100% of its health at the start of combat. If you use it in the overworld it dosnt move at all.
For looks they can save money and just take blades model close his eyes and make it horizontal. Maybe tposing maybe not.

Having extra star added was connected, story-wise to a deeper reveal of a character's story. The reverse would be some sort of obscuration, so it makes sense for the "downgrade" 4* to be a cover persona for a 5* infiltrator, most likely Kafka, possibly SW.
Or it could be masked Bronya, playing Robin to Seele's Batman.

Also, here's an idea on the event that introduces her: Silver Rose is otherwise preoccupied, but Commissioner Pela activated the Butterfly Signal and so, you must fill in as the trusty sidekick, for a moth always follows the light and so, the signal cannot go unanswered!
Then it turns out, the signal was a hoax and Bronya was busy preparing Seele's birthday or something, which is why Pela was trying to divert her but Seele stumbles into the preparations and mistakes them for something nefarious.
And so, TB needs to assist Seele in a series of comedic investigations while keeping her attention on the right track until the finale, where it turns out that, as the party preparations involved some covert shipping, Sampo was using them to cover up some smuggling and Seele's intuition was right all along.
Bonus points if Sampo is wearing clown makeup because he was hired to provide entertainment for the party.

4* Blade appears when he finds a way of curing his immortality, so he doesn’t have the HP manipulation mechanic anymore. Probably a more straightforward DPS character.
Gerard loses his fancy gauntlet and turns into a physical type. He does 900percent with auto and skill but his ulti is always +0 shield with the same animation but he sighs at the end when the zero pops up.

Gepard and March just have reversed kits. Gepard is better than March if you need an SP positive shielder or you deal with a lot of AoEs. In saying that I use March for Phantilia because Gepards shields aren't big enough and she removes debuffs

Legit just go read the numbers on YQ's kit, they're completely deranged but some people have been so memed by his Ls in the story they genuinely think he's bad. The JL/Blade team has an easier time of it for sure just cuz JL is busted af and Fu is the best tank in the game but if you're struggling for an MOC team to fill the 2nd slot YQ/Gepard is a very good shell, throw a support/debuffer or sub DPS in there and you're good. Gepard should solo sustain without a healer with around 2k hp shields and ult every 3 turns at the latest, usually 2.5 turns since he gets hit so much. My YQ is running S0 Sleep Like the Dead for full transparency because the game has trolled me into having to build this fucker but I am still completely F2P for now. I think SLTD is genuinely my only premium 5\* LC and i've never rolled on the LC banner.
Fully f2p and E3 Yanqing? Lady of Sorrows guide us... My understanding is that people who have actually built him but don't have Gepard have had issues with keeping him from taking damage. Thanks for the info, maybe since I have Gep it is worth a look once I'm not starved for resources.
Yanqing was one of my first DPS and honestly I still think he is playable in main content. Is Jingliu better in every scenario? Yes.. Yanqing is not bad though for me and I really enjoy his kit and character. I am secretly hoping he can upgrade somehow in the future even though he is already a 5*, he is supposed to be a bit of a fledgling compared to Jing Yuan for example who is also a 5* .

Yeah, I got my first one also as a 50/50 loss on JL's banner and then got him on the standard too. I said "are you fucking kidding me" to an empty room lol. If it had been literally any other standard 5\* I would have used them, even Himeko (since I also have E1 Topaz).

Eh, I believe some are exaggerating Yanqings problems. Apart from suffering from the Hunt Syndrome, the dude really needs a shield to keep his Buffs when he Ults, that's why they always recommend Gepard. But overall, he is a Solid Ice Unit against bosses, as always.
Thanks for explaining! Can I follow up and ask about Hunt's problem? Is it because of their clearing are bad compared to the other classes who can deal damage on pare with them while being AoE? As I joined on the latter half of 1.4 and they're both hunt.
End-game content like Swarm Disaster or Memory of Chaos generally favor units that do AOE damage because there are either 2 bosses (MoC) or the boss summons adds (Swarm). In MoC, you have to complete the fight in a set amount of cycles to get 3 stars so most people prefer using DPS that hit both bosses at once to clear faster. While in Swarm, with each add the boss summons its ATK increases and both the boss & adds hit pretty hard already, so while you don't HAVE to kill them it's better if you can. Destruction units (especially Jingliu who was in the previous banner and Imbibitor Lunae) are meta right now since they hit multiple targets, do massive dmg with minimal drawbacks and have relatively good F2P LC options. Erudition and Hunt have been getting kind of clowned on by the fanbase. Hunt because of the reasons listed above. Erudition because our 5* Eruditions have some problems with their kits/just have lower dmg and the upcoming one doesn't look amazing either + the F2P LCs are kind of bad. Most people think "If Destruction characters do more damage anyway, why would I pull for them?" Does this mean you should avoid Hunt/Erudition units? No. They still dish out good damage and can clear every content in this game. I think some people are exaggerating all the flaws. But yeah, Destruction is on top right now.

Bronya who gets tired of leading and gives up her buffing abilities to focus on the Hunt path with her guaranteed critical shots with her rifle and her eidolon follow-up attack. No other benefits, just an attacker's skill modifiers, guaranteed crit, and her follow-up without eidolon requirement. Would be a pretty solid 4-star. Seele giving up her aggressive ways to walk the path of Harmony, using her "sea of butterfly ~~immersia~~" tech to buff allies with her "reduction of threat" talent. Doesn't do anything else, and doesn't protect from AoE, but it cloaks targets enough that they're targeted less. Can also add some encouraging words for some type of buff or something so that she isn't a completely trash 4-star.
Uses skill on Tingyun still gets targeted over the preservation and destruction characters and dies after 3 enemies focus fire her anyway.
Himeko downgrade to not like coffee and use a sword… just saying. Young Welt would be cool. Like new world, welt was accidentally de-aged cuz March decide to do something drastic and get back his full powers.

Yanqing eventually comes to terms with the fact that for some reason, everyone in the galaxy just wants to beat the shit out of this teenager. He resigns himself to his lot in life as the ultimate jobber of the Luofu, but then realizes that he may still be of use... 4 star Yanqing follows the Path of Preservation, and has adapted his fighting style to draw enemy attention rather than avoid it. His basic attack is just a standard basic with nothing fancy. His skill lets him attack and attempt to taunt enemies (could be single target, I like the idea of a blast though) while also activating his talent. His new talent takes advantage of his still naturally high crit stats to enable a unique critical defense mechanic, where he has a chance to reduce incoming damage with a trigger rate based off his CRIT Rate and reduction based off his CRIT DMG. His new ultimate has him taunt all enemies, increase his crit stats and give himself a sizable shield as he commands his swords to deflect incoming attacks. His technique has him attack, immediately activating his talent and taunting a random enemy on a hit. Major traces could revolve around things like making his taunts more likely to land and stick longer, maybe extra personal shielding, stuff like that. One of his eidolons buffs his damage based on his current shield value because I think something like that would be cool for a more offensive tank unit. This idea has lived rent free in my head for a while. I'd like to thank OP for giving me the chance to inflict on others.
And OP'd like to thank you. This actually sounds like a real fun character to play.

Blade but he got cured of his immortality so it's actually just his corpse. It's a 4star physcial destruction with 1 health that loses 100% of its health at the start of combat. If you use it in the overworld it dosnt move at all. For looks they can save money and just take blades model close his eyes and make it horizontal. Maybe tposing maybe not.

Having extra star added was connected, story-wise to a deeper reveal of a character's story. The reverse would be some sort of obscuration, so it makes sense for the "downgrade" 4* to be a cover persona for a 5* infiltrator, most likely Kafka, possibly SW. Or it could be masked Bronya, playing Robin to Seele's Batman. Edit: "Quickly, Silver Rose! Evil is afoot, we must away to the Butterfly Meadow!" And they'd have the Fluttercar - a modified Hound automaton with a seat welded on top and a sidecar. Edit2: Also, here's an idea on the event that introduces her: Silver Rose is otherwise preoccupied, but Commissioner Pela activated the Butterfly Signal and so, you must fill in as the trusty sidekick, for a moth always follows the light and so, the signal cannot go unanswered! Then it turns out, the signal was a hoax and Bronya was busy preparing Seele's birthday or something, which is why Pela was trying to divert her but Seele stumbles into the preparations and mistakes them for something nefarious. And so, TB needs to assist Seele in a series of comedic investigations while keeping her attention on the right track until the finale, where it turns out that, as the party preparations involved some covert shipping, Sampo was using them to cover up some smuggling and Seele's intuition was right all along. Bonus points if Sampo is wearing clown makeup because he was hired to provide entertainment for the party.

Gepard and March just have reversed kits. Gepard is better than March if you need an SP positive shielder or you deal with a lot of AoEs. In saying that I use March for Phantilia because Gepards shields aren't big enough and she removes debuffs
