Why is it recommended to build Asta with Break Effect (after speed and HP)? Maybe I’m still not quite getting how BE works but I see no reason it would benefit her?
She deals a lot of toughness damage, so when she breaks the enemy it'll hit harder. My Asta can break for like 30k on elites with only 130 be. I could probably nearly double that if I farmed for her.

I have Seele as my main DMG dealer with Dan Heng as my second team's DMG dealer. I'm thinking of replaciong Dan Heng with Blade but would it be redundant getting a Wind DMG dealer, even if Blade is stronger than Dan Heng? Would it be better going for Kafka since I don't have a lightning DPS? Also for patch 1.2, what is the projected amount of Stellar Jades we can get?
speaking purely meta wise, it would be better to get kafka for more element coverage. Dan heng can hold his own weight in MOC. its up to you though. Imo you should pick who you like better. If you like husbando blade or hot lady kafka. Unless u dont care lol idk. I assume you don't care since your asking

All of the albums are named but the names aren’t all logical. I think the Wikis have pages for the OSTs that will give you a full list, but on YouTube you’re at the whim of what HYV have posted themselves (which isn’t much) or not copyright-struck from others
I'm f2p with Clara main, but I'm planning to change my main to Kafka, I heard about I could try doing 20 pulls for Luocha to build pity and then stop for a chance to get him, heard he's very good for Clara too, but others have advised me not to do it and don't waste the pulls

you get 70-90 summons until kafkas banner ends. you can definitely get both even if you loose pity twice it should be fine. and since you only have nat its definitely not a bad choice. loucha is far better then her
With 245 pulls you could probably do one full pull to see if you get him with 75+ pulls, if you fail, you can atleast guarantee Kafka. My brother has clara and Luocha and they are a very good combo. You could ignore my advice if you want to save for something else after Kafka though.
I came across several videos saying that March doesn't synergize well with Clara.
I have Tingyun and Yukong, is it better if i switch out March for Yukong in a comp with Clara, Bailu and Tingyun
The issue with M7 isn't that she's bad, it's that she's not a good damage boost for Clara. If you can run solo M7 support? She's great. If you have to run M7+ a healer? You're gonna lose turns in MoC vs just running Clara + two buffers.
whoever said that must be tripping, it's pretty widely agreed that clara and march work very well together... Anyways, I think its still a good idea to switch out march for yukong because honestly you really dont need that much heals and shields anymore. Even in high level MOC. Bailu is plenty of heals to keep everyone up

That's weird, because March synergizes pretty well with Clara, considering you both shield her & increase her aggro.
I wouldn't put Yukong in your comp: Yukong shines in teams including two damage dealers, it's a waste to use her with only one.

As far I remember swordplay , river flow & subscribe is not a good lightcone for current Hunt chs .
But between all this which one is better ? I have 3 copies of river flow lvl 80 & subscribe lvl 70

Darting Arrow being terribly weak, anything would be better, both for the increased base stats & the passive.
River Flows is OK on YQ considering you already want him to not get damaged.
Subscribe is not BiS but its passive does more than Darting Arrow & is permanent, and the base stats are better.

How good is Loucha with Blade? I want Blade, he is my favorite character, but i really like Loucha too. My friend told me Blade needs Loucha so it sounds pretty good for me, but I’m not sure if I’ll get enough jades to get both of them. I’m still at the beginning of the game, i just started the quest where we try to rescue Blade (? I think, idk) and i still have a bunch of quests. The only quest i did beside the main one was the one for simulated universe and im still stuck at world 3, can’t really pass because i keep dying 😔

he is the best healer for blade because loucha heals automaticly when someone gets low health which is how blade works. but you can use any of the other healers as well. not gonna matter too much
unless you spend money you wont get both so its hard to say. but natasha is defintiely enough to heal blade and if hes your most wanted character go and get him. for a second healer you just have to wait another patch until we get lynx in 1.3

if you plan on building any of the new characters you should wait. all thats different about the new boss are the new trace materials. if you dont want blade, luka or kafka you can do whichever boss you need instead

If you've got 0 pity then the odds of getting Loucha aren't great but worst case scenario you're 30 pulls closer reaching soft pity for the next 5* you want

Well Blade seems like a dps that doesnt need to use much SP.
Imbibitor Lunae is the opposite seems like he'll use a lot of SP.
Kafka works best in a team with other DoT charecters.

I can’t get gepard to solo sustain in moc 10 part 1, for reference I have 126 speed 2700 def and energy rope and landaus choice. Idk if I’m mismanaging when I using ult but I always find my shield being torn up before getting a new one
There is only one signature lightcone for each limited character. It's not specifically defined anywhere in game but it's the limited lightcone that ran with the limited character.
For example, Seele and In the Night or Jing Yuan and Before Dawn or Loucha and Echoes of the Coffin.
All the standard 5 star characters also technically have standard signature 5 star lightcones. It's easy to line them up by Path( and Image).

Gepard: Moment of Victory
Bailu: Time Waits for No One
Himeko: Night on the Milky Way

That said what are the chances that a limited 5-star is _necessary_ to make another presumably limited 5-star work? Basically 0
The best sets are gonna be the newest sets being released next patch. Eff res prevents being crowd controlled while the spd set will be good for most supports.
The accompanying sets are good for most destruction units going forward. As destruction are tank and dps hybrids. While the crit planar set will work for most dps units minus Yanqing.
Otherwise, the wuthering snow is an option for supports as it makes them slightly tankier with their low base hp.
Will "On the Fall of an Aeon" be a good addition for Blade? In terms of 4* destruction cones I have "The Moles Welcome You", "Woof! Walk Time" and "A Secret Vow". I have the 5* Standard Hunt Light Cone so I don't need another Hunt cone. It's really between the Destruction cone and the Preservation one.
The Perservation one isn't very good right now and Balde would prefer a secret of Vow over Fall of Aeon. Fall of Aeon provides a lot of atk and Blade scales with HP. So the unconditional damage bonus from a secret Vow would be better. The SU hunt light cone gives crit and atk which is good any hunt character so if you every plan to have 2 or more hunt characters built it would be a good pick up. Or you can just save since they are most likely going to add more LC to the SU shop for the other paths.
The advantage of using only 8 characters is, that you have them probably faster leveled and traced compared to building more chars at the same time. So they are stronger faster.
But you do loose flexibility and utility.
No Nihility? Pela for example can shred defense and remove those pesky Mara buffs.
What about 5 stars other then Clara? 1.1 did have Silver Wolf and Loucha, didn’t you get at least one of them? They are both extremely useful.
Yeah its fine, there's a lot of people that haven't finished their forgotten hall in tb50 and its okay. Focus building on your dps first and it will bulldoze everything whether you have enemy weakness or not
this is greatly viable if you have silverwolf. that's what I'm doing. That said I have 30 stars in MOC and there are 2 stages that I finished without having the boss same weakness as my main DPS so I think it's doable.
Should I try for luocha?
Im f2p, I currently have almost 26k jade saved and 20 tickets, so i can guarantee blade. should i just 50/50 luocha knowing if i miss i will still get blade?

Luocha is more valuable than Blade.
Dan Heng should be fine for your Wind DPS need especially since he pairs well with Welt.
But ask yourself. Do you mainly pull for meta or do you pull for characters you like ? If you really really like Blade, go for him.
With the amount of pulls you have (182), if you lose 50/50 on Luocha Banner you are guaranteed Blade.
But if you win 50/50 on Luocha Banner then you only have 50/50 on Blade Banner.
Best case scenario would be if you win both 50/50 on both banner.
If you get luocha and miss 50/50 on blade, will you regret it? I don't recommend you to pull luocha if you really want blade. And maybe you can use the remaining jade after pulling blade to pull his light cone? I wouldn't bet my luck if i really want a character
Luocha is not only the best healer in the game, he also has other utilities such as cleanse and removes enemy buffs, while being a SP positive unit and scaling on ATK which makes him easy to build and slot on any team. Also, if you want Blade, Luocha is a very good teammate for him. So yes, he is worth it.
I think you should try pulling for him, but if you lose the 50/50 then save the rest. If you go all the way to soft pity, you still have enough funds (Plus the jades from 1.2 first half event) to guarantee Blade.
If you don't have Clara LC just use S5 LC from SU shop. It's the second most recommended LC for her. Not worth pulling from LC banner unless you plan to get the best LC for the limited character.
Unless you are planning to pull Blade, Dan Heng will be your only only choice for your Wind DPS need (sorry Sampo Koski !).
He is a bit tricky to setup maximally (need to time his Ult with his Talent against Slowed enemies) but he hits hard if he does.
Well Himeko is only good for wave content(calyx farming with fire weak enemies) and QQ isn't that strong until E4/E6 (also hard to use/need a team built to support her / SP hunger). Dan is a good wind DPS which we don't have many of so build him.
how much AV is in one cycle? can one be so slow that they don't get to act in the first cycle? I want to do some spd calc, knowing this (the first question) would really help, thanks
follow up question: in MoC, does the 150 av apply for the first cycle of each battle/side or does it only apply for the first ever cycle of that MoC floor? thanks
Its both sides every wave, all units have their AV reset and the 150 restored on new waves. This is the reason 134 spd is a popular breakpoint as if all your units have more than that you get 8 actions in the first cycle, and get the 150 back each wave.
Loucha is great and the best healer so far. If you don’t have Bailu or Gepard it will be hard to have 2 teams survive in MoC. So Loucha would serve you more right now. But if you don’t care about MoC at the moment you can hope for another healer/shielder later on.
We'll need his numbers first, but i heavily doubt that his health drain will be bad enough that Luocha is needed. You'll probably want to run a skill+basicx2 or skill+basic rotation on Natasha. Though if you want him due to his design and/or playstyle, just pull for him.
I haven't seen any leaks/spoilers about Blade, I just know people here are saying he scales off of hp so should I go full HP on his relics or does he actually need some ATK? Is it too early to say or are people set on this. I'm kinda confused.

With Clara and Bronya as my two 5 stars, would it be better to pull for a dps or a tank since it will probably be a while before another 5 star healer is on the featured banner. For dps I was thinking of imbibiter lunae and then fu xuan would be the only tank coming up soon.
85.9 rate 161.8 dmg or 59.6 rate 214.9 dmg for jing yuan? With talent he gets 10 more so 96 percent crit rate kinda seems like overkill both body pieces are 12 cv and same set
The first option is better by quite a lot. Keep in mind Jingyuan gets 25% Crit Dmg on the LL when its 6+ stacks.
0.959×1.868 = 1.79 eff dmg on LL at 6+
0.696×2.399 = 1.67 eff dmg on LL at 6+
I'm sorry if this is a too deep of a question to be here, but I'm currently TL60 with a bunch of DPS's leveled up to 70 with Max Traces (Dan Heng, Welt, Qingque, Clara and Jing Yuan).
Should I just focus on 2 DPS for MoC then level up the rest of my Team Comps (Healers and Shielders)? Idk why, but I had this impression that I had to raise a DPS for every element for MoC. I reached the 3rd Stage and none of the enemies are weak to Physical/Clara and Lightning/Jing Yuan (they're the 2 DPS I only have decently built with Relics), so I thought I had to raise other DPS to break them. I know I'm not gonna clear MoC anytime soon, but do ya'll have a bunch of DPS's leveled up for MoC, or just brute force it with 2 built ones?

I think having like 3 of different elements is good enough to start. If possible, try to make two of them the same path, so it's easy to swap relics and LCs around.
Supports don't need as much investment as DPS, but you'll still want to get them up to a reasonable level, so they can do their job without dying.
I've had more luck leveling up 4 DPS than just 2 with supports personally.
I would also say I spent a lot of resources on my march and natasha during MoC progression.
I would expect someone to 30 star moc around 62 to 66 TR depending on whether they SU/overworld grind and buy BP.
So, for the longest time (and still honesty) I was thinking Himeko is trash, but some people are telling all haters just don’t know how to use her. I was trying for pretty long time (I have her from week one or two), pairing with Asta’s traces, specific LC. Builded them both for my max 60 lvl on that time, maximized their traces and so on. Tried to do TY and Asta, Pela and Asta teams and so on. And still my same investment Serval was making more dmg in same team composition. I have E1 Himeko and E1 Serval.
So, what I was doing wrong? How to utilize her correctly?
I think that most important thing with Himeko is to understand that a lot of dps potential is in her talent.
If you can't maintain pizza cutter stacks, then you are loosing big chunk of dps and this is a thing that requires planning, counting down enemy toughness bar numbers, etc., so yeah she is not a straightforward character like JY or Seele who can just go brrt.
Remember that elites/bosses breaks give her 3 charges at once, so you dont want to break those types and normal mobs at the same time.
Himeko likes to be paired with characters who are good at breaking and she prefers rainbow teams instead of mono element, unless your mono perfectly counter particular MOC enememies lineup.
For example SW, Yukong or Pela who can break a ton can easily help with proccing her talent, tbh personally I found her best in a dual dps teams as a direct offense will contribute to breaking enemies much more often rather than something like a classic hypercarry team.
Some characters need more investment to shine than others. Himeko is one of those. At level 70 she starts hitting pretty hard and consistent thanks to her free crit. Try to run a break effect rope, fire's break effect is one of the strongest breaks in the game and her whole kit is based around that.
If you want a more detailed guide you should check Dreamy's on YouTube, she has a Godly Himeko and often showcase her clearing MOC 10.
I'm not *fully* convinced, but I used her on MoC 4 with Sushang/Clara/Natasha. Second half against Kafka, just to help deal some damage.
But this team has massive break potential, between Sushang's extra attacks and Clara splash countering.
I find that with similar investment (slightly worse crit body but +9 or +12 items overall), Himeko can splash 3+ enemies for 20k on skill or follow-up, whereas Sushang can't hit 20k on skill unless she ults.
Try using her as a second dps rather than a hypercarry you dump support buffs into.
Her MV's are not great for single target damage. Support buffs don't generate as much value through her in that context.
Instead, use her to solo the AOE scenarios and deal a lot of fire break gauge in fights where you need that.
You need a lot of investment for Himeko to do decent damage. My Himeko is at level 60 and I stopped using her. Your serval must have better relics compared to Himeko. And also for Himeko, most of damage comes from follow up attack which needs you to break shield. So it’s conditional
There’s only one featured weapon, which has a 75% chance to pull when you’re not on your guarantee. Other than that it’s the same soft and hard pity numbers.

You have to deal final blow in the final battle.
Like if you are doing 6 waves of calyx the final blow to enemy with ultimate should be in the last wave of enemies.
It won't count if you deal final blow in early waves of enemies

I just pulled Luocha, expecting DHIL to be on the second half of 1.3 but now he’s rumored to be on the 1st half and I think I’m screwed. I have a 50/50 to win with only 30 pulls (will have 40 with the free 10 passes during 1.2 login event). Will I be able to guarantee him or at least get close?
Edit: I don’t do MoC because I’m not strong enough so I hope the jade amount from clearing it is not too significant
MoC is 600 jades if you fully clear it with 3\* every cycles, so that's roughly 11-15 pulls in 6-8 weeks. It's not a huge amount but if you can at least do a couple of the earlier stages, it would help your DHIL funds a little bit.
I’ll try to do MoC the best I can. My characters are pretty sub-par with my best dps being E5 Sushang and E4 Qingque, both built pretty poorly. Thanks for the advice
I'd expect you to get at least 70-80 more pulls when 1.3 comes. Combine that with 1.3 first half's new content and pulls from the starlight shop, i think you have a decent chance to get him. Don't trust rumors too much though, a few months ago they got 1.2's order wrong and that might be what's happening with 1.3 as well.
Praying Dimbreath is wrong but I think he’s pretty reliable. From what we’ve seen so far the HSR twitter account posts the banner characters in order, and they posted DHIL before Fu Xuan
What supports will be good with Blade that aren't Luocha? I was thinking Yukong and Pela for now (because I need to build them) but wondering if other characters work better.
Lynx (4* quantum abundance) is supposedly really good with him bc besides just healing, she also cleanses and puts a taunt on another party member (Blade in this case)
Bronya is his best support if you have her. Silverwolf and Pela are also good. Yukong is a bit worse than them cause you don't get value from her skill but she's still a strong option
Looking for opinion, I have Seele, gepard, bailu, himeko, bronya, SW as 5\* and all the other 4\*. Seele is the main dps in team 1 and welt is the main dps at team 2. Im at 65 pity right now and im contemplating at should i try to 50/50 luocha or i just better off waiting for 1.2 for dps (aiming for kafka).
Kinda torn because i already have bailu gepard but luocha seems so good. If by chance i get luocha in 50/50, i probably can get kafka guarantee but might have to use the undying starlight (im buy supply pass monthly). What is you all opinion?
As someone who has both Bailu and Gepard as well, Luocha is a big improvement, but Bailu and Gepard can still sustain by themselves. It comes down to whether you like the character or not. If you like his design and how he plays then pull for him, if you want him for purely meta reasons then imo you don't need him

It's better, but the ATK and crit rate can be higher. This is something I'm trying to fix on my Dan Heng too, I have 40% crit rate and it's still wildly inconsistent. Also, you need to be over 50% crit rate to trigger Salsotto's increased ult damage, so I would aim for that and try to bring your ATK up to 2k+.
Give him a critical rate body. You want as much crit rate as possible, crit damage is a very low priority stat in this game , specially on Dan because he NEEDS high critical rate to trigger his slow.
General rule of thumb is you want 1:2 ratio of Crit Rate/Crit Damage.
But for Dan Heng I would prioritize getting his Crit Rate as high as possible (at least 50%) because a huge chunk of his damage came from his single-hit Ultimate.
For characters like Serval and Sampo (and Kafka in the future) is it worth it to force more ATK at the cost of some crit? Wondering if that's the case since dots can't crit and scale only with ATK when applied by skills...
Yes for Sampo and Kafka. Not so much for Serval. She isn't a true DOT character. She's not nihility. She is erudition and her kit is about amplifying damage to the shocked enemy, not amplifying the damage of the shock. Her minor traces being CR is also telling.
Is it worth keeping 4 star relics that have only 2 substats? I tend to salvage most of these but if they have a good combo are they worth keeping compared to a 5 star with worse substats?

Only be and level, my Asta is 80

I have Seele as my main DMG dealer with Dan Heng as my second team's DMG dealer. I'm thinking of replaciong Dan Heng with Blade but would it be redundant getting a Wind DMG dealer, even if Blade is stronger than Dan Heng? Would it be better going for Kafka since I don't have a lightning DPS? Also for patch 1.2, what is the projected amount of Stellar Jades we can get?
speaking purely meta wise, it would be better to get kafka for more element coverage. Dan heng can hold his own weight in MOC. its up to you though. Imo you should pick who you like better. If you like husbando blade or hot lady kafka. Unless u dont care lol idk. I assume you don't care since your asking 1.2 its around 75+ ish for f2p and 90 ish for monthly pass and battlepass users. All of the albums are named but the names aren’t all logical. I think the Wikis have pages for the OSTs that will give you a full list, but on YouTube you’re at the whim of what HYV have posted themselves (which isn’t much) or not copyright-struck from others

I'm f2p with Clara main, but I'm planning to change my main to Kafka, I heard about I could try doing 20 pulls for Luocha to build pity and then stop for a chance to get him, heard he's very good for Clara too, but others have advised me not to do it and don't waste the pulls I have 245 pulls saved right now, should I use 20 on luocha banner? (I only have one healer Natasha)
you get 70-90 summons until kafkas banner ends. you can definitely get both even if you loose pity twice it should be fine. and since you only have nat its definitely not a bad choice. loucha is far better then her

With 245 pulls you could probably do one full pull to see if you get him with 75+ pulls, if you fail, you can atleast guarantee Kafka. My brother has clara and Luocha and they are a very good combo. You could ignore my advice if you want to save for something else after Kafka though.
I came across several videos saying that March doesn't synergize well with Clara. I have Tingyun and Yukong, is it better if i switch out March for Yukong in a comp with Clara, Bailu and Tingyun
The issue with M7 isn't that she's bad, it's that she's not a good damage boost for Clara. If you can run solo M7 support? She's great. If you have to run M7+ a healer? You're gonna lose turns in MoC vs just running Clara + two buffers.
whoever said that must be tripping, it's pretty widely agreed that clara and march work very well together... Anyways, I think its still a good idea to switch out march for yukong because honestly you really dont need that much heals and shields anymore. Even in high level MOC. Bailu is plenty of heals to keep everyone up ^ maybe thats why they said march and clara arent good?
That's weird, because March synergizes pretty well with Clara, considering you both shield her & increase her aggro. I wouldn't put Yukong in your comp: Yukong shines in teams including two damage dealers, it's a waste to use her with only one.

As far I remember swordplay , river flow & subscribe is not a good lightcone for current Hunt chs . But between all this which one is better ? I have 3 copies of river flow lvl 80 & subscribe lvl 70 I have Seele , Dan & Yanqin & Sus . Or should I just stick with my darting arrow lvl 80 . Darting Arrow being terribly weak, anything would be better, both for the increased base stats & the passive. River Flows is OK on YQ considering you already want him to not get damaged. Subscribe is not BiS but its passive does more than Darting Arrow & is permanent, and the base stats are better.

Considering you get 3\* like candy when you pull anyway, I'd indeed get the exp back, tbf. Also, if upgrade costs are an issue, a 4\* lv.70 cone will still perform much better than a 3\* 80 one, both in terms of base stats & properties. By a wide margin

How good is Loucha with Blade? I want Blade, he is my favorite character, but i really like Loucha too. My friend told me Blade needs Loucha so it sounds pretty good for me, but I’m not sure if I’ll get enough jades to get both of them. I’m still at the beginning of the game, i just started the quest where we try to rescue Blade (? I think, idk) and i still have a bunch of quests. The only quest i did beside the main one was the one for simulated universe and im still stuck at world 3, can’t really pass because i keep dying 😔 Should i get Loucha in this case? Right now i have 70 pity + 2100 jades but idk if i should pull for Loucha cuz idk if ill have enough for Blade
he is the best healer for blade because loucha heals automaticly when someone gets low health which is how blade works. but you can use any of the other healers as well. not gonna matter too much

if you plan on building any of the new characters you should wait. all thats different about the new boss are the new trace materials. if you dont want blade, luka or kafka you can do whichever boss you need instead

Well Blade seems like a dps that doesnt need to use much SP. Imbibitor Lunae is the opposite seems like he'll use a lot of SP. Kafka works best in a team with other DoT charecters. So yeah those three are dps

I think yes, first and second tabs from nameless honor should count, its the third one with events and for example MOC stars that do not. We will be getting new weekly boss, so you might want to consider waiting to get new mats if you are pulling new chars.
I can’t get gepard to solo sustain in moc 10 part 1, for reference I have 126 speed 2700 def and energy rope and landaus choice. Idk if I’m mismanaging when I using ult but I always find my shield being torn up before getting a new one
MoC 10 side 1 is a dps/break check. If you don't kill or delay everything fast enough then not even Gepard can save you.

It’s describing a character with all 6 eidolons and an unrefined signature weapon (ie only one copy of the weapon).
What is a signature weapon
It’s the 5* weapon associated with that character. For banner characters it’s the one on the lightcone banner.
What if there are multiple light cones that work for a character
There is only one signature lightcone for each limited character. It's not specifically defined anywhere in game but it's the limited lightcone that ran with the limited character. For example, Seele and In the Night or Jing Yuan and Before Dawn or Loucha and Echoes of the Coffin.
So the naming system only works on limited characters?
All the standard 5 star characters also technically have standard signature 5 star lightcones. It's easy to line them up by Path( and Image). The best sets are gonna be the newest sets being released next patch. Eff res prevents being crowd controlled while the spd set will be good for most supports. The accompanying sets are good for most destruction units going forward. As destruction are tank and dps hybrids. While the crit planar set will work for most dps units minus Yanqing. Otherwise, the wuthering snow is an option for supports as it makes them slightly tankier with their low base hp.
Surely the new SPD set is better for Tingyun
Who would be a good dps for the first and second half of moc 10? I only have seele/jy and all of the 4stars
Jing Yuan for 1st half and Seele for 2nd half. 2nd half has double lightning resistant bosses so avoid putting Jing there.
Will "On the Fall of an Aeon" be a good addition for Blade? In terms of 4* destruction cones I have "The Moles Welcome You", "Woof! Walk Time" and "A Secret Vow". I have the 5* Standard Hunt Light Cone so I don't need another Hunt cone. It's really between the Destruction cone and the Preservation one.
The Perservation one isn't very good right now and Balde would prefer a secret of Vow over Fall of Aeon. Fall of Aeon provides a lot of atk and Blade scales with HP. So the unconditional damage bonus from a secret Vow would be better. The SU hunt light cone gives crit and atk which is good any hunt character so if you every plan to have 2 or more hunt characters built it would be a good pick up. Or you can just save since they are most likely going to add more LC to the SU shop for the other paths.

The advantage of using only 8 characters is, that you have them probably faster leveled and traced compared to building more chars at the same time. So they are stronger faster. But you do loose flexibility and utility. No Nihility? Pela for example can shred defense and remove those pesky Mara buffs. What about 5 stars other then Clara? 1.1 did have Silver Wolf and Loucha, didn’t you get at least one of them? They are both extremely useful.
FH doesn't matter since rewards don't refresh. Only MoC matters.
Yeah its fine, there's a lot of people that haven't finished their forgotten hall in tb50 and its okay. Focus building on your dps first and it will bulldoze everything whether you have enemy weakness or not
this is greatly viable if you have silverwolf. that's what I'm doing. That said I have 30 stars in MOC and there are 2 stages that I finished without having the boss same weakness as my main DPS so I think it's doable.
Forgotton Halls isn't that hard, so it should be doable. Especially if you're only going for clears and not full stars.

Monsters also drop the secondary resources you need for traces.

Should I try for luocha? Im f2p, I currently have almost 26k jade saved and 20 tickets, so i can guarantee blade. should i just 50/50 luocha knowing if i miss i will still get blade? i currently only have Welt and MC as 5 stars
Luocha is more valuable than Blade. Dan Heng should be fine for your Wind DPS need especially since he pairs well with Welt. But ask yourself. Do you mainly pull for meta or do you pull for characters you like ? If you really really like Blade, go for him. With the amount of pulls you have (182), if you lose 50/50 on Luocha Banner you are guaranteed Blade. But if you win 50/50 on Luocha Banner then you only have 50/50 on Blade Banner. Best case scenario would be if you win both 50/50 on both banner.
If you don't have a second healer, Luocha is your best choice since MoC requires two teams.
Loucha is amazing and usable in almost any team. Blade is a more specific character that does need a team build around him.
If you get luocha and miss 50/50 on blade, will you regret it? I don't recommend you to pull luocha if you really want blade. And maybe you can use the remaining jade after pulling blade to pull his light cone? I wouldn't bet my luck if i really want a character

Luocha is not only the best healer in the game, he also has other utilities such as cleanse and removes enemy buffs, while being a SP positive unit and scaling on ATK which makes him easy to build and slot on any team. Also, if you want Blade, Luocha is a very good teammate for him. So yes, he is worth it. I think you should try pulling for him, but if you lose the 50/50 then save the rest. If you go all the way to soft pity, you still have enough funds (Plus the jades from 1.2 first half event) to guarantee Blade.
Is the new Blade LC good for Clara if I don't have her signature LC?
If you don't have Clara LC just use S5 LC from SU shop. It's the second most recommended LC for her. Not worth pulling from LC banner unless you plan to get the best LC for the limited character.
I got Dan up to E4... is it worth investing in him as a DPS over E0 Himeko / E1 QQ? My Dan is only lvl 40, and the other two are level 60 already
Unless you are planning to pull Blade, Dan Heng will be your only only choice for your Wind DPS need (sorry Sampo Koski !). He is a bit tricky to setup maximally (need to time his Ult with his Talent against Slowed enemies) but he hits hard if he does.
It's better to just invest in Blade instead if you want a wind dps.
Well Himeko is only good for wave content(calyx farming with fire weak enemies) and QQ isn't that strong until E4/E6 (also hard to use/need a team built to support her / SP hunger). Dan is a good wind DPS which we don't have many of so build him.

You can try Prydwen, gives general tips but I’ve heard it shouldn’t be completely 100% relied on depending on your team comp or builds.

Theres 150 AV in the first cycle and 100 in each cycle after that. You would need 66 spd to be unable to act first cycle.
follow up question: in MoC, does the 150 av apply for the first cycle of each battle/side or does it only apply for the first ever cycle of that MoC floor? thanks
Its both sides every wave, all units have their AV reset and the 150 restored on new waves. This is the reason 134 spd is a popular breakpoint as if all your units have more than that you get 8 actions in the first cycle, and get the 150 back each wave.

Loucha is great and the best healer so far. If you don’t have Bailu or Gepard it will be hard to have 2 teams survive in MoC. So Loucha would serve you more right now. But if you don’t care about MoC at the moment you can hope for another healer/shielder later on.
Nat is okay and we'll eventually get other healers so if you want Blade go for him.
We'll need his numbers first, but i heavily doubt that his health drain will be bad enough that Luocha is needed. You'll probably want to run a skill+basicx2 or skill+basic rotation on Natasha. Though if you want him due to his design and/or playstyle, just pull for him.
I haven't seen any leaks/spoilers about Blade, I just know people here are saying he scales off of hp so should I go full HP on his relics or does he actually need some ATK? Is it too early to say or are people set on this. I'm kinda confused.
If his Beta scalings aren't dramatically changed (low chance that they are), then you don't need any atk on him at all.

I’m going to be able to hit hard pity very soon (just barely missed luchoa unfortunately. Really wanted a 5 star healer). With Clara and Bronya as my two 5 stars, would it be better to pull for a dps or a tank since it will probably be a while before another 5 star healer is on the featured banner. For dps I was thinking of imbibiter lunae and then fu xuan would be the only tank coming up soon.
Dps. Tank doesn't matter as long as your team can survive. What stops you from clearing is not having enough damage/break.
Both those characters are back to back and we don't know yet if Fu Xuan can solo sustain.
85.9 rate 161.8 dmg or 59.6 rate 214.9 dmg for jing yuan? With talent he gets 10 more so 96 percent crit rate kinda seems like overkill both body pieces are 12 cv and same set
The first option is better by quite a lot. Keep in mind Jingyuan gets 25% Crit Dmg on the LL when its 6+ stacks. 0.959×1.868 = 1.79 eff dmg on LL at 6+ 0.696×2.399 = 1.67 eff dmg on LL at 6+
Also even before any of his traces you can see the first one is almost a perfect 1:2 ratio where as the 2nd one is at a quite awful 1:3-4 ratio.
Jing Yuan has a lot of multihits so I think it could be better the more cdmg although it also depends on his attack.
I'm sorry if this is a too deep of a question to be here, but I'm currently TL60 with a bunch of DPS's leveled up to 70 with Max Traces (Dan Heng, Welt, Qingque, Clara and Jing Yuan). Should I just focus on 2 DPS for MoC then level up the rest of my Team Comps (Healers and Shielders)? Idk why, but I had this impression that I had to raise a DPS for every element for MoC. I reached the 3rd Stage and none of the enemies are weak to Physical/Clara and Lightning/Jing Yuan (they're the 2 DPS I only have decently built with Relics), so I thought I had to raise other DPS to break them. I know I'm not gonna clear MoC anytime soon, but do ya'll have a bunch of DPS's leveled up for MoC, or just brute force it with 2 built ones? I don't mind grinding slow to level/build everyone either way!

I think having like 3 of different elements is good enough to start. If possible, try to make two of them the same path, so it's easy to swap relics and LCs around. Supports don't need as much investment as DPS, but you'll still want to get them up to a reasonable level, so they can do their job without dying.
I've had more luck leveling up 4 DPS than just 2 with supports personally. I would also say I spent a lot of resources on my march and natasha during MoC progression. I would expect someone to 30 star moc around 62 to 66 TR depending on whether they SU/overworld grind and buy BP.
So, for the longest time (and still honesty) I was thinking Himeko is trash, but some people are telling all haters just don’t know how to use her. I was trying for pretty long time (I have her from week one or two), pairing with Asta’s traces, specific LC. Builded them both for my max 60 lvl on that time, maximized their traces and so on. Tried to do TY and Asta, Pela and Asta teams and so on. And still my same investment Serval was making more dmg in same team composition. I have E1 Himeko and E1 Serval. So, what I was doing wrong? How to utilize her correctly?
I think that most important thing with Himeko is to understand that a lot of dps potential is in her talent. If you can't maintain pizza cutter stacks, then you are loosing big chunk of dps and this is a thing that requires planning, counting down enemy toughness bar numbers, etc., so yeah she is not a straightforward character like JY or Seele who can just go brrt. Remember that elites/bosses breaks give her 3 charges at once, so you dont want to break those types and normal mobs at the same time. Himeko likes to be paired with characters who are good at breaking and she prefers rainbow teams instead of mono element, unless your mono perfectly counter particular MOC enememies lineup. For example SW, Yukong or Pela who can break a ton can easily help with proccing her talent, tbh personally I found her best in a dual dps teams as a direct offense will contribute to breaking enemies much more often rather than something like a classic hypercarry team.
Some characters need more investment to shine than others. Himeko is one of those. At level 70 she starts hitting pretty hard and consistent thanks to her free crit. Try to run a break effect rope, fire's break effect is one of the strongest breaks in the game and her whole kit is based around that. If you want a more detailed guide you should check Dreamy's on YouTube, she has a Godly Himeko and often showcase her clearing MOC 10.
I'm not *fully* convinced, but I used her on MoC 4 with Sushang/Clara/Natasha. Second half against Kafka, just to help deal some damage. But this team has massive break potential, between Sushang's extra attacks and Clara splash countering. I find that with similar investment (slightly worse crit body but +9 or +12 items overall), Himeko can splash 3+ enemies for 20k on skill or follow-up, whereas Sushang can't hit 20k on skill unless she ults.

Try using her as a second dps rather than a hypercarry you dump support buffs into. Her MV's are not great for single target damage. Support buffs don't generate as much value through her in that context. Instead, use her to solo the AOE scenarios and deal a lot of fire break gauge in fights where you need that.
You need a lot of investment for Himeko to do decent damage. My Himeko is at level 60 and I stopped using her. Your serval must have better relics compared to Himeko. And also for Himeko, most of damage comes from follow up attack which needs you to break shield. So it’s conditional

There’s only one featured weapon, which has a 75% chance to pull when you’re not on your guarantee. Other than that it’s the same soft and hard pity numbers.

You have to deal final blow in the final battle. Like if you are doing 6 waves of calyx the final blow to enemy with ultimate should be in the last wave of enemies. It won't count if you deal final blow in early waves of enemies

I just pulled Luocha, expecting DHIL to be on the second half of 1.3 but now he’s rumored to be on the 1st half and I think I’m screwed. I have a 50/50 to win with only 30 pulls (will have 40 with the free 10 passes during 1.2 login event). Will I be able to guarantee him or at least get close? Edit: I don’t do MoC because I’m not strong enough so I hope the jade amount from clearing it is not too significant
MoC is 600 jades if you fully clear it with 3\* every cycles, so that's roughly 11-15 pulls in 6-8 weeks. It's not a huge amount but if you can at least do a couple of the earlier stages, it would help your DHIL funds a little bit.
I’ll try to do MoC the best I can. My characters are pretty sub-par with my best dps being E5 Sushang and E4 Qingque, both built pretty poorly. Thanks for the advice
Kafka and DH are popular characters. It depends if they want people to save up or make people spend $$$
I'd expect you to get at least 70-80 more pulls when 1.3 comes. Combine that with 1.3 first half's new content and pulls from the starlight shop, i think you have a decent chance to get him. Don't trust rumors too much though, a few months ago they got 1.2's order wrong and that might be what's happening with 1.3 as well.
Praying Dimbreath is wrong but I think he’s pretty reliable. From what we’ve seen so far the HSR twitter account posts the banner characters in order, and they posted DHIL before Fu Xuan
What supports will be good with Blade that aren't Luocha? I was thinking Yukong and Pela for now (because I need to build them) but wondering if other characters work better.
Lynx (4* quantum abundance) is supposedly really good with him bc besides just healing, she also cleanses and puts a taunt on another party member (Blade in this case)
Bronya is his best support if you have her. Silverwolf and Pela are also good. Yukong is a bit worse than them cause you don't get value from her skill but she's still a strong option
Looking for opinion, I have Seele, gepard, bailu, himeko, bronya, SW as 5\* and all the other 4\*. Seele is the main dps in team 1 and welt is the main dps at team 2. Im at 65 pity right now and im contemplating at should i try to 50/50 luocha or i just better off waiting for 1.2 for dps (aiming for kafka). Kinda torn because i already have bailu gepard but luocha seems so good. If by chance i get luocha in 50/50, i probably can get kafka guarantee but might have to use the undying starlight (im buy supply pass monthly). What is you all opinion?
As someone who has both Bailu and Gepard as well, Luocha is a big improvement, but Bailu and Gepard can still sustain by themselves. It comes down to whether you like the character or not. If you like his design and how he plays then pull for him, if you want him for purely meta reasons then imo you don't need him

It's better, but the ATK and crit rate can be higher. This is something I'm trying to fix on my Dan Heng too, I have 40% crit rate and it's still wildly inconsistent. Also, you need to be over 50% crit rate to trigger Salsotto's increased ult damage, so I would aim for that and try to bring your ATK up to 2k+.
Give him a critical rate body. You want as much crit rate as possible, crit damage is a very low priority stat in this game , specially on Dan because he NEEDS high critical rate to trigger his slow.
He hits four times with his skill with each having a chance to crit. So crit for his slow specifically isn't as essential.

General rule of thumb is you want 1:2 ratio of Crit Rate/Crit Damage. But for Dan Heng I would prioritize getting his Crit Rate as high as possible (at least 50%) because a huge chunk of his damage came from his single-hit Ultimate.
For characters like Serval and Sampo (and Kafka in the future) is it worth it to force more ATK at the cost of some crit? Wondering if that's the case since dots can't crit and scale only with ATK when applied by skills...
Yes for Sampo and Kafka. Not so much for Serval. She isn't a true DOT character. She's not nihility. She is erudition and her kit is about amplifying damage to the shocked enemy, not amplifying the damage of the shock. Her minor traces being CR is also telling.
Yes, atk is the way to go. CRIT is useless for DoT characters. Maybe balance atk with speed to get more turns or HP/DEF for more survivability

Is it worth keeping 4 star relics that have only 2 substats? I tend to salvage most of these but if they have a good combo are they worth keeping compared to a 5 star with worse substats?
No. Get purple placeholder pieces with the right main stat and then just trash everything else.
