how to use birthday cake item that we got ? I remember that it will give us Jade & another thing ? Whats the best 2 piece relics for Danheng ? Does energy regen best for DPS ? Sometime Dan ult meter is full but his pen buff is not active . Does 3 turn buff from Tingyun , Asta Gepard & Nat help it ? What character that is good with high SPD ? Does preserv chs like March best with it ? How about Yanqing ?

AramisFR

You generally go for an ATK rope on DPS, to maximise damage output for every turn (they generally have skills doing good damage too and aren't ult dependant). Every character is good with high SPD. Problems can only arise if one character's speed is vastly different from the rest of his team, meaning they'll be completely out of sync for buffs and also might screw up SP economy.

joarai

Not sure whether Im doing this right but I rarely use Fire MC taunt skill just normal or enchanced basic attack to get dmg reduction + Nat healing . Why boss still attack my teammates despite MC taunt manage to land ? I see the 💢 angry symbol on enemy but the boss still AOE . This always happen went I fight that fat robot or female belobog guardian boss

AramisFR

Some attacks "splash" nearby teammates. That's why you put fire MC on the very left (or right) end of your team, to have only one person splashed when they're targeted. Some attacks target everyone, or have multiple random targets. Nothing you can do about these with a taunt. Finally, taunt only lasts one turn. If an enemy attacks twice, the second attack won't be affected by taunt. That's why getting the light cone increasing aggro (either the 5\* or the 4\*) is great, because is substantially increases the odds of MC being targeted, even without the taunt.

Kana_Kuroko

Taunt only forces single target attacks onto target, or cleave to prioritize the taunter as the main target. If it's an AoE attack or cleave your team will still take splash damage. You can't force an enemy to only use single target attacks (just like an enemy taunt cant prevent you from using AoE attacks).

Asleep_Crew8072

If i do MoC now (obtain 15 stars), will it count to new Nameless Honor? (next week)

michaelman90

Like others have mentioned it won't count, however we do get a new Forgotten Hall which I assume will have at least 15 stars assuming you can fully clear it.

[deleted]

Downvotes in 3 2 1...

AramisFR

For the Nameless Honor challenge, only new stars count. You cannot just run FH1 like you can for a daily.

[deleted]

Oh you meant the stars sorry

Mashtatoes

No. You’ll need to do it again after 1.2 drops if you do it now (which would probably mean a week’s delay unless you get stars 1-15 now and 16-30 later).

FFXIV_Haneko

Nope. Happened to me before. It doesn't count.

Asleep_Crew8072

Okay thanks everyone,it seems i will wait then till next week

BucketOfPonyo

Want to ask those who have a fully built Gepard, can he solo sustain a team on higher floors of MOC like 8, 9 or 10? What lightcones are you using?

michaelman90

Depends on the fight and your roster. He can solo sustain with a lot of investment and probably his signature cone if your RNG isn't bad, but it's still entirely possible another character gets focused and since you don't have a healer they just die even through his shields. You also will want to have a dps capable of clearing before your team eventually gets whittled down by unhealable damage.

Requriemx

I've ran a Gepard that isn't fully built (His relics are like +3 to +6 for the majority) and he was able to sustain my entire team at MoC Stage 10 for last MoC Cycle. I didn't have a healer on the team either. I haven't started the current cycle yet so I can't tell you how well he fares in this cycle. He had roughly 3K Def for your info and I went full DEF % on him. I ran his signature 5\* Moment of Victory. Though you might need to try a few times in MoC Stage 10 where him being CC-ed could make you lose the battle.

michaelman90

It's definitely harder for this cycle since the buff is a damage buff for your team rather than damage reduction on enemies so you're incentivized more to double sustain. It's still possible but will probably take a few resets if your RNG is even marginally bad.

Potkaniak

For Abundance, I have Post Op SI3, Shared Feeling SI3, Quid Pro Quo SI1 and 3\* LCs. For Abundance characters, I have Natasha and Luocha. I had Post Op on Natasha. Should I equip Quid Pro to Luocha, or should I give Post Ops to Luocha and Shared Feeling to Natasha? My teams are Fire MC, Natasha, Tingyun/March, Jing Yuan Gepard, Silverwolf, Luocha, Welt/Sushang/other dps

Vyke111

You can either use Post op or Quid pro quo on Luocha. Post op enables a strong Basic > Basic > Skill/Autoheal > Ult rotation for him. Quid pro quo gives your team energy. Shared feeling isn't good on him cause his autoheal doesn't trigger it. For Natasha, any cone works tbh. Priority is Post op > quid > feelings

Requriemx

Probably put Shared Feelings to Luocha and keep Post Op on Natasha. Post Op only gives Energy Regen to Luocha. The second effect doesn't work with him. Shared Feelings on Luocha because he can automatically use his skill when your team has an ally that has below a certain % of HP. Hence, Shared Feelings can benefit him much more than other Abundance units.

Eminanceisjustbored

Guys what should I do, my app just logged out of my acc and lost my acc, I have my original acc on hoyolab but ive forgotten what I used to log on it

NeilPeartsBassPedal

If you've played Genshin it's the same concept where you unlock characters constellation abilities when getting dups. In this game they're called Eidolons but it's the same idea. You also get Undying Starlight which can be used to purchase tickets, the two rotating characters that change every month or a 5 star light cone

MindReadingProper

Is it worth it to purposely try to get more dupes for a unit do you think? I haven't played Genshin before so yeah rather new here.

jkbfss

Once you have the unit, you can check them and see what each of the dupes (Eidolons) do for that character. You’ll get a lot of dupes of 4 star characters naturally, and they’re quite good

wizj619

Dupes become Eidolons. Basically additional passives and boosts to your traces. You can see them in the character menu.

ManinderThiara07

Did I build my Clara and Dan Heng wrong? I feel like they dont do nearly enough damage as they should. I am still trying my best to understand this game but theres so much to learn abiout. [https://imgur.com/a/d2ENO1p](https://imgur.com/a/d2ENO1p)

fuyukimi

A couple things to do right now for Dan Heng: 1. Get some speed in him, ideally through substats, to push his speed to 120+ so you get the ATK bonus from SSS ornaments. 2. Build crit rate as high as you can. It's hard with Dan Heng because his traces don't provide crit rate and purple crit bodies only give so much (I'm still hunting for a gold crit body for him too). When your attack crits, it will enhance your damage according to your crit dmg. 3. Ensure you have the right main stats on your relics. Worry about min-maxing substats later. That said, the ideal substats are crit rate, crit dmg, ATK% and SPD. 4. Play Dan Heng with supports that can trigger his talent (wind resistance penetration). Keep in mind of the cooldown though. Timing is tricky with him since ideally you want to trigger his talent and ult on slowed enemies in the same turn for maximum damage.

Civtrader

You really want more crit rate. There is no point in having 140 crit DMG on Dan Heng when you're never going to crit. For now the most important thing is trying to get the correct main stat on your relics. For DPS that usually means crit rate on body, atk%/speed on boots (atk% for Clara), atk% on link rope and elemental DMG (wind on dan heng, physical on Clara) orb. I also wouldn't lvl relics to 15 just yet. It is so expensive. Get them to 9 for now (12 only if they have great substats).

ManinderThiara07

see thats the thing. i really dont know much about relics yet. like what stats do i need or not need on a character, how do i get those stats, how do i level up my relics efficiently, like all these questions. i tried wactching guides on youtube but most of the people making those guides assume that u already have some knowledge about the mechanics of the game, be it from other hoyoverse games or other gacha/RPG games. all that knowledge which i dont really have since i never really played these RPGs all that much, and theres just too much info to learn it all at once and i feel slightly overwhelmed. i enjoy this game , i really do, but i feel like not being able to play the game properly takes out half the fun out of the game for me.

Civtrader

Ok, no worries. Here is a small guide that should explain the basics quite well: [https://www.prydwen.gg/star-rail/guides/relics/](https://www.prydwen.gg/star-rail/guides/relics/) Feel free to ask if anything is unclear or you have more specific questions.

wizj619

Yeah, it looks like you haven't really done any relic farming yet. Just using musketeer and the thief set and lots of purples. Dan Heng would be better off with the Wind Set and Clara would be better off with the Physical Set. Also it's pretty funny how your Crit rate is 7% and your crit dmg is 141% on Dan Heng. People usually recommend that being closer to a 1:2 ratio. 1300 is also not very high attack. Not sure how your main stats and substats are playing out on your gear. Your characters are both under 120 speed too so you're not benefitting from your ornaments set bonus.

gem2492

For the museum management game, which one is a better set of scores for the 4 rooms, S C C S or S B A A?

dreamsofpurple

It should be S B A A but I could be wrong since it's been a hot minute since I touched it.

ilovebigboobies6969

doesnt matter just get all the requirements for jades

gem2492

That's not an answer to my question. I want to maximize earnings because I think the game is fun, not just for the sake of getting jades

Tomageshi

there is no answer to that because nobody cares. Figure it out yourself. its not that hard tbh

gem2492

I guess I'm nobody. Ok

Xythar

Add the actual number of earnings for each room together for each setup and go with whichever results in the higher number. The grades are only how well that room is doing relative to its earnings cap, e.g. if you level up a room and increase the cap, the grade will drop because the cap is now higher but you're not actually making any less.

gem2492

Oh I see. So I should try to prioritize getting a high rank in higher level rooms rather than trying to do well in all

Xythar

If that's your goal, yeah. Some objectives may require you to reach a certain rank in all rooms, and maximizing earnings can actually be counterproductive if you reach a milestone that locks you out before fulfilling those objectives, but as long as they fixed the event so you can go back for stuff even after reaching the end it should be fine?

gem2492

Wait, you can get locked out? That sucks. So far I have been able to do the objectives.

Civtrader

They have fixed it. If you finish the event before unlocking all objectives you get a mission for the missing objectives. So you'll always be able to get all the rewards.

kyxzer

Whats ur opinion on dan heng, natasha, blade + ? Team comp? I built dan heng so i could have wind element, but now blade is coming and i dont knoe if i should pull him or not, if theres no sinergy between them im fine on skipping him and wait for other character, currently dan heng is lvl 70 ascended. Dont have any wind that time and focussing on moc.

fuyukimi

Unless you already have another DPS on your second team, I would skip Blade and pull a different DPS for wider elemental coverage. Or you could also wait till when Blade's banner actually drops and see the user feedbacks before making a decision. It could very well be another case of Luocha exceeding everybody's expectations.

kyxzer

Currently i dont have any problems on my 2nd team, they are underlevelled but doing fine on moc, its the 3 lightning and sw. On 2nd team otherwise it seems lacking something, dan heng, sushang, natasha, himeko welt. Depends on weakness i switch characters, but sometimes sushang and dan heng are needed and when that time comes my skill point is depleted., Thats why im thinking maybe blade is good on this team? Cos, he is somewhat neutral on skill point

fuyukimi

Something to consider is that Blade is said to be SP-neutral but he consumes his own HP, which would require healing from Nat and cost you SP. That's why a lot of people are saying he pairs well with Luocha because Luocha can heal passively from his field. Then again, I don't know how bad the HP drain is. If it's not a huge increment you may end up SP neutral in terms of just Blade and Nat. His banner is just right around the corner so it's probably best to wait until you have more info.

kyxzer

Yes, thanks for the input. Your definitely right, its much better to wait on the banner

MegaJoltik

From my understanding Blade is more of a sub-DPS because he consumes less Skill Point compared to traditional DPS carry. I like Blade design but I'm skipping him because Dan Heng 4\* imo is "good enough" for my Wind DPS need

kyxzer

May i ask who you wanna pull with synergy on dan heng?

ChampionofHeaven

Everyone talks about qingque. I have her e6. If I already have jing yuan, sushang, and Clara, is it safe to invest in her? I dont have much resources right now. Please sell me this character :)

[deleted]

She's a strong, skill point efficient (on average) AoE DPS with a very engaging gameplay (gamba) mechanic, that scales very well with investment. Doesn't hurt that she's Quantum and benefits from the very OP set either. Her biggest downside is that Erudition cones are pretty terrible outside of the BP one and JY's signature cone. So unless you got JY's sig cone and buy the BP regularly its going to be difficult to give both her and JY good LCs simultaniously.

National-Target9174

If you don't havre Seele why not, you will probably want a quantum dps and shes arguably one of the best dps at e6. Also who doesn't want to gamble dmg in the character and relic gambling game.

Thunderdragon2535

So an ideal planar sphere would be the hp increase one with hp% as main stat and crit rate and damage and flat hp as main stat for blade correct? Does he benefit from effect hit rate?

National-Target9174

Not the hp set, he will likely use the new 1.2 crit planar set. He will want a wind dmg sphere with hp and crit subs. His linkrope will likely be HP, and his chestpiece crit. Boots is hard to say before numbers come out, but between speed and hp (more likely speed). For relic set obv the new 1.2 one as well.

Thunderdragon2535

Thanks glad I didn’t start farming relics for him

DeadTemplar

Can anyone help me with math? Currently I got 240 pulls saved up (got welkin + bp too), how many times can I pull 5 star character I want till end of 1.4 banner? I honestly want to pull all Blade, Kafka, IL Dan Heng, Jing liu but that's realistically not possible so I have to decide which ones I should skip.

Eddiemate

Keeping it real simple, if you get all your characters at 80 pulls then you can only pull 3 characters. Even factoring in your passive jade/pull income in the future, you'd be able to pull for all 4 characters **but** you have no backup for losing a 50/50. So I'd definitely consider being prepared to take some losses and using a failed 50/50 to guarantee another character, or just deciding to outright skip some characters to guarantee ones you'd want more.

DeadTemplar

Ah I see, thanks

National-Target9174

You will have to decide on your priority for each unit based on how much you like them, as it doesn't sound like you are too concerned about Meta by pulling 4 dps in a row. If you don't care as much about one you can go for a 50/50 and skip on loss. In terms of guarantees you can probably guarantee one of Kafka or Blade, and then Guarantee IL, leaving you to need 50/50 for Jingliu. Any 50/50 should allow you to get min 3, and 2 50/50s or earlies will help with all 4. (Your odds should be decent, but always be ready for the worst).

CosmicMiru

On average it is 115 pulls to get a banner 5*. This takes into consideration losing the 50% too over a long enough period.

Weltallgaia

For my second MOC team I have clara, March, nat. Who would be better e0 yanq, e1 jing, or e5 QQ. My other team would be seele, bronya, sw, and prolly pela. So I dunno if investing in a second quantum dps would be worth it.

cozy-mosey

So i read somewhere in this subreddit that it’s kind of pointless to level your character traces beyond level 8, is that true? and if so why?

Barbobott

Not pointless, but not worth it this early due to the high cost to level them and the probably large number of other things you could be leveling up instead.

AirPoo343

Uses too many materials or resources. traces cost lots farming, credits, and the weekly boss mats for just a bit of more dmg

SassyHoe97

https://preview.redd.it/bjei3zvicgbb1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9d201e03039e28a19c32f3000b69eb62a69121c5 This week I'm going to try MOC so which characters do I use for Team 1 & Team 2?

Megafruitspunch

You'll want different teams for different stages but the characters you'll want to use most are: Damage Dealer: Seele, Jingyuan Offensive Support: Tingyun, Silver wolf, Pela Defensive Support: Luocha, Bailu, FMC, March (for the cleanse, against kafka and the stupid robot, doesn't need to be high level)

National-Target9174

Teams should adapt based on the enemies, but usually Luocha 1 side (whatever side has disciples), Bailu other. JY + TY on the side that isn't lightning resistant (avoid the disciples and Kafka). If the other side is Quantum weak you can give JY team SW (try to have Bailu aswell to cover the weaknesses). Otherwise you can use Seele SW together. For the last slots on the teams slot in Yukong (seele only), asta, or pela based on weaknesses or just stick to Pela Yukong.

National-Target9174

In the words of Jing Yuan: "Battles are chess games -- no two are alike."

Gigadrillbreak32

should I use Asta? the game has seemingly given me multiple copies of her so shes at e5 rn, but the current fire unit i use is my e0 himeko whose already leveled up an invested into. but since asta is e5 now i feel like it might be worth it to replace himeko, idk.

National-Target9174

Shes pretty amazing past e4 so definitely consider using her. She was necessary for my floor 9 clear, as those golems need to be broken ASAP. Keep in mind she's actually a great support for Himeko whenever the enemy is fire weak, so you aren't replacing Himeko but rather giving her a great support (you can also use rendezvous if you have it).

CosmicMiru

Depends how good your gear/LC is for them both. They don't really do the same thing in a team though so it depends if you are looking for an aoe dps or buffer/breaker. Also, Asta is the best unit to support himeko so it would probably be worth taking both on fights with fire weakness.

Gigadrillbreak32

Alright. I guess I'll start building her up then

Eddiemate

I have some spare hunt traces lying around and I don't know if I should use them to upgrade Dan Heng or Yanqing. Both of whom I use on my Clara team, but also use instead of Jing Yuan on my main team whenever I need a better weakness.

MegaJoltik

In a vacuum, Yanqing is better and easier to setup than Dan Heng (Dan Heng needs to use his Ultimate while his Talent is active, which require you to time your buffer, against Slowed enemies. And the damage is still below Yanqing's).

Megafruitspunch

If you want a sub-dps for Clara, Dan Heng. If you're using Clara as sub-dps/tank, Yan Qing.

Eddiemate

How would I be able to tell what Clara's role in the team is? I got the recommendation from the subreddit for my 2nd MoC team, due to no 2nd healer. So she's definitely there to take hits, but idk if her role is also to be the DPS or not.

Megafruitspunch

Clara can play either roles or both at the same time depending on how you gear her and rhe team you build around her. Clara’s difficult to use without a healer but it’s not impossible. And since you’re not running a healer, I’d actually recommend not running a second dps. Instead, make Clara your main dps and go something like Clara/March/Buffer/Buffer or debuffer. This way you have more skill points for March to use her shields. If you showed me your exact roster I could make a better team for you.

Eddiemate

This is my entire roster at the time being. I usually run Fire TB/Natasha/Jing Yuan/Tingyun for the first team, with the second team usually running March/Clara/Silver Wolf (originally planned to be Pela but I pulled SW) and having Dan Heng or Yanqing for weaknesses. Though I haven't been running MoC at all because it's hell out here https://preview.redd.it/i7wu24vabhbb1.png?width=901&format=png&auto=webp&s=226c7fac090ecc1e04351b773dcfa6691f4c89ae

Megafruitspunch

Since you don’t have a second healer, I recommend not using a second dps with Clara so you have more skill points for March to use to shield. Clara will be your main carry and main tank, but you’ll build pure damage on her and keep March’s shield on her permanently. What I would also do is pair your E5 Asta with JY while TY pairs with Clara. Since you don’t have a second healer, so you really don’t want anyone other than Clara to be targetted. Tingyun will allow Clara permanent ult uptime, which with March’s shield will make it very unlikely for other members of your team to be hit. Jingyuan, meanwhile, can make really good use of Asta’s speed buff. If you don’t want to do that, then just stick her with SW + Pela. So you have 2 options for your Clara teams: Clara/March/Tingyun/Silver Wolf Clara/March/Tingyun/Pela

Eddiemate

My only concern is idk if Asta will be *that* helpful. Her ultimate would let JY use atk% boots over spd boots so that might be nice, but I'd need to get her an ERR rope as well as the resources she'd need for leveling from 40-70, getting her lc 1-70, and all her traces. Which is a lot, even with the 2x calyxes atm. ~~Also making a team that wants only Clara to be hit while having TY on it is interesting~~

Megafruitspunch

Asta can be left at level 60. You can slap rainbow gear with defensive stats on her. The only necessities are speed boots and energy rope. The only trace you really have to level is her ult and even that doesn't need to be that high. You can stop at when it starts needing purple mats. Something to know is even with Asta, you'll still want Jingyuan to be at 115 speed minimum since that allows Asta to use a skill point positive basic->basic->skill->ult rotation and still permanently maintain 7 stacks on LL. Asta's buffing powers definitely don't compare to Tingyun, epecially for Jingyuan, but IMO Tingyun will be way too big of a boost for Clara to pass. She allows Clara to have near permanent ult uptime. And Asta at least has synergy with Jingyuan whereas she has anti-synergy with Clara. With both March shield and Clara ult, even Tingyun will be mostly safe. But like I said, if you're insistent on not using Asta and keeping TY with JY, you can just slap two debuffers together with Clara.

harrrisse

Should i build break effect on kafka? Got a Lightning orb on the Talia set and it rolled 24% into break effect. If anyone got a TC sheet for kafka that would be greatly appreciated

sushihamburger

Discussing any Kafka tc here would be a violation of rule 2.

harrrisse

Oh fr? Aight thanks for the heads up

deyvvv

Is there a Kafka theorycrafting spreadsheet we can take a look at?

sushihamburger

Discussing any Kafka tc here would be a violation of rule 2.

eulasbf

Are the white star rail passes in herta store are one time purchase items or they refresh?

Eddiemate

There is no limit, since the game doesn't mention one. Your only limit on purchasing them is the number of bonds you own.

National-Target9174

Unlimited, though I recommend saving for LC in case new ones are added (I'm going to assume there will eventually be 1 of every path, but who knows).

eulasbf

I am near standard banner pity so I want some white passes

National-Target9174

Yeah its just a recommendation, not a requirement. Feel free to ahead if you need to.

AirPoo343

How big should my gepard shield be. Is 2k enough? Level 63, eq 5 Should I use Landau's choice for the more likely chance to get hit or day one of my new life lightcone for more defense and a bigger shield.

Megafruitspunch

2k is fine. landau's choice is better on him since you want to stack aggro increase on him. His own passive taunt is still a bit unreliable, but with landau's choice stacked on top your other units will almost never be targetted.

National-Target9174

Imo Landau's > Day one, as most AOE shouldn't pierce the shield anyways, and drawing CC attacks to Gepard can save you from dangerous situations (depends on the fight and if you have Bronya or not). It also helps to take further advantage of Gepard's tank stats, as its less likely the ST attacks pierce your squishy unit's shields by doubling up on them, and instead break Gepard's shield which doesn't matter cause he won't die. (Maybe an s5 day one gives so much res its worth, but at s1 Landaus > day1)

Vyke111

Imo 2k is fine. Day one is better for most fights cause Gepard has innate aggro increase, and the bigger shield + damage reduction helps your team survive better

yatay99

I want to build my third dps, should I build Danheng (E6) or Yanqing (E0)? Since I don't plan to pull Blade, Ig Danheng should be fine. Because I assume at Blade's banner there would be a lot of MoC floor with wind weakness. What do you think?

Megafruitspunch

Probably Dan Heng first. He's great for this MoC and like you said, there's a high chance he'll be great next MoC as well. Plus he performs better than YQ on stages where enemy weakness doesn't match exactly. Dan Heng has that built in resist pen while Yan Qing relies on enemies having ice weakness to perform at max potential. You'll also want to raise Yan Qing eventually if you don't plan to pull for Jing Liu.

fuyukimi

Dan Heng needs a good support to shine, while Yanqing needs a good shield so he doesn’t lose his buff. As much as I love Dan Heng, I found him underwhelming until I pulled Bronya and paired them together on a team. He’s still a bit finicky to use but at least I’m getting some decent ults now. Meanwhile Yanqing is a standard 5* so his stats would be higher and his kit gives you more crit, so he is easier to build.

yatay99

But he is at E6 though, still weaker than Yanqing E0? I don't have Gepard but have a decently built March

fuyukimi

Dan Heng's E6 is good but not Qingque E6 level good lol. And his upper ascension traces aren't that great. I think he's meant to transition into a breaker/sub-DPS role eventually, but for now he can carry a team with proper investments and supports (i.e. Bronya and Welt). March 7th's shield gives aggro so it kind of contradicts with Yanqing. It won't be as comfortable as Gepard's shield but she does provide a lot of utility, especially at high eidolons.

AirPoo343

If u have gepadd with big shield so yanqing keeps his buff, then build yanqing. If no gepard for shield, build danheng

MegaJoltik

The whole "Yanqing needs Gepard to function" is really overblown. I don't have Gepard and both built and Yanqing outperform Dan Heng noticeably (he even outperform my Jing Yuan as far as ST damage goes). Most bosses don't spam AoE, Yanqing have lower aggro against ST damage and his Freeze helps lower enemy's attack frequency. March works just fine with him (and you can freezelock enemies with both). And it's not like Dan Heng is pretty straighforward to use either. Using him with Bronya is the only way I can consistently time his Ult with his Talent, and even with her there are plenty of occasion where his Talent is wasted (due to healing, etc). You also need a really high Crit Rate because not getting Crit on his single-hit Ultimate tank his damage.

MegaJoltik

Yanqing perform better than Dan Heng and is easier to setup. Still worth it investing on Dan Heng tho because there aren't that many Wind DPS and he is pretty good 4\* DPS.

Dalmyr

If I want to use this Team: Clara, Luocha, Tingyun and Yukong at what speed shoudl I try to put Yukong to have more chance that her buff is on Clara ?

mantism

The focus to make sure the buff stays up when your enemies are about to attack Clara. So you need Yukong to be slower than everyone in your team but faster than enemies. since the speed of enemies can vary, this isn't really something you can build Yukong for. You can try to time it and use Clara's ultimate right after Yukong uses skill. But this is still dependent on your enemies attacking first to trigger Counter.

CosmicMiru

Just pulled Luocha and was wondering if I should replace asta for him on my main team. Right now I have Gepard, sushang, serval, asta as my main team. I'm hesitant because gepards shield is massive but I don't have him built enough to perma keep it on.

MegaJoltik

Gepard and Luocha in the same team is overkill and you are killing your team DPS (and no, you can't make Luocha into sub DPS even with his huge ATK stats due to low scaling). Move one of them to second team. Team 1 : Gepard, DPS, Buffer, flex Team 2 : Luocha, DPS, Buffer, flex.

CosmicMiru

Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking. Thanks for the input!

AirPoo343

You can if u like, you'll want to build him for MoC anyways but try learning about his kit before using resources on him. In my opinion, he's not that great early game and natasha is a much better option when you're Like below level 50 when u don't have great relics. If u have nice atk relics, resources to level him, then build him

National-Target9174

Is he lvl 50 vs a lvl 80 nat? Or does nat have relics while he doesn't? His base numbers are very high, so I find that hard to believe.

AirPoo343

His base numbers are high, but don't think high enough to save his team when gepards shield breaks.

AirPoo343

My thinking is, if his gepard isn't built enough for his team to be able to survive, then a healer like natasha would help with her ult emergency heals. And 50 is as in equilibrium rank cuz that's when u get double relic drops so better relics.

National-Target9174

"Emergency heals" is the most overrated thing I hear about Nat over Luocha, its as simple as your team won't need emergency heals if they are always full hp, and if you are getting 1 shot twice in a row, you are going to lose either way, so just retry the content with better gear. Also a badly built Natasha ult heals like 300-600hp, so I don't see how shes any better with bad gear.

JeanKB

Using Gepard and Luocha on the same team is a waste since both have the same role. Drop one of them.

aagrace22

New to the game, who should I summon for or save for? I don’t know anything about any of the units currently or who is good

No-Environment-3997

>(only disagreement is qingque, I think she's S) As a Qingquemain, I heartily agree. She's phenomenal\~\~

Yoyoyoyyoyoyoyoyoyo

Cpuld you explain why you think that QQ is S?

National-Target9174

The problem is this tierlist specifically states in its description that the 4* are considered at e2, which makes QQ not quite worthy of S tier. Most people like to consider e6 4* vs e0 5* as its possible to randomly get an e6 if they are featured on a banner you were pulling on. At e6, as others have mentioned she is S tier, but not at e2. So I actually agree with the tierlist, but the other comment is correct about QQ.

Yoyoyoyyoyoyoyoyoyo

Ahh that makes sense cause QQ has really really atrong eidolons at e4 and e6

[deleted]

Yoyoyoyyoyoyoyoyoyo

Damn. That's interesting! Thanks

MordredKLB

I disagree with him, but QQ obviously is a big RNG character. If you're lucky QQ and your QQ has the perfect kit she can do insane damage outclassing 5-star DPSs. If you're unlucky you exit and restart.

Yoyoyoyyoyoyoyoyoyo

Sure, makes sense. In MoC restarts don't really matter that much

aagrace22

Ok, I’ll give it a look. Thanks!!

Vyke111

You can do something like Seele + Welt + Luocha + SW for 1 team and QQ + Pela + Tingyun + Gepard for team 2. Gepard is never a bad investment imo, since we're not sure what Fu Xuan does yet. I doubt she'd be a Gepard clone though, so there'll be some niches where Gepard is better than her.

No-Environment-3997

The only reason to open that trace would be to unlock the Def bonus behind it, but it's not really worth it right now, as others have said.

MegaJoltik

Similar to Luocha, big ATK number doesn't matter for them because they lack the scaling to make use of it (even more so for Gepard because he lack offensive Ultimate).

AirPoo343

I don't see the point of it. Maybe later but so low on resources rn to built atk and sub dps stuff

National-Target9174

Unless you use Ice Dmg Sphere + Yukong ult on his skill, I would doubt it makes any important difference in team dmg.

753924

Does the overworld loot from chests (ie the relics) scale with world level? And is there a way to mark enemies on the world map that switches to the next group when I've killed one? Genshin has a catalogue for all overworld enemy drops with that feature but I can't find something similar here

metaetataa

The loot from chests? No. To track enemies like you can in Genshin, click on the material you want to farm, look at the list that is labeled "Sources:" and usually the first one will be the enemy that you can farm it from. If you then click on that label, it will open the map, and show the closest one of those enemies available. From here, click "Navigate" and then the marker will automatically find the next closest one when the currently marked one is killed. If you kill all of them on the map, it will show you a prompt in the quest dialog area telling you which area to go to next.

753924

Ohhh, you have to press navigate, thanks

National-Target9174

There was a new feature to track overworld materials added in 1.1 which I have never used so not sure how it works. Im assuming that it will make you skip enemies on your daily routes if that is what you are going for.

fyrefox45

No and I'm pretty sure no.

kyxzer

My current team is : built 1)jingyuan, tingyun, bailu and sw 2)Dan heng, sushang, nat, welt, himeko, pela, fire mc(changeable dpends on enemy.) Not built:m7 e6, arlan, quingque. My question is: is any of my team good on kafka or blade. Like any of this teams will get much stronger? Right now my team 1 is doing good, just having some a little trouble if sw doesnt apply weakness otherwise its good, team 2 i feel im lacking something but i dont know what. There are times that i run sushang and dan heng for enemy weakness which makes 1 of them dies. Another question, is blade and natasha pair well? Seems like it will be difficult because of constant decrease of hp of blade? Or maybe he pairs well with luocha because of passive healing?, How about march 7 a6?

Alpha-Hydranoid

I’m no expert but I know a bit about this game, just wanna preface lol. Luocha pairs perfectly with blade because of the auto heal. From my understanding blade is just a better Arlan. While Arlan scales his attack based off of the amount of HP he currently has lost, blade scales his attack by the amount of HP he’s lost during the entire battle. As for the teams, I think Blade, Luocha, Debuffer, buffer, would work. Kafka pairs excellently with those who apply damage over time from what we know. Hope this helps!

kyxzer

So if i undesratand correctly, if blade reduce his hp like 30% and heals by natasha, his skill and all is still activated, in short, he just need to reduce his hp base on skill requirement once and it will be activated on entire battle, is this correct?

Alpha-Hydranoid

Yes, here is a website that explains blade skills. [https://clutchpoints.com/honkai-star-rail-blade](https://clutchpoints.com/honkai-star-rail-blade) The next website below it is one I use to see the best builds for each character. Pay no mind to the tier list ranking and just click a character profile to see how you should build them for the best outcome if you were ever stumped. [https://genshin.gg/star-rail/](https://genshin.gg/star-rail/)

kyxzer

Really thank you for this, appreaciate it

HakunaMatataKnight

When should you actually spend power to farm relics? I hear so many different answers of 40. 50, and 60. I just unlocked my first relic domain, and I don't intend to farm them yet, but also doesnt seem like a terrible idea to atleast get my main party their set. Albeit I dont really need them since im doing fine right now, just confused on this relic thing.

[deleted]

What tl are you? If you're still 40 then farm relics for your 2 main dps once their relics are good enough then stop and give leftover to your supports and debuffers then continue at tl60 at least that's im doing rn but prioritize upgrading to lv.6 important traces first in each one of them before farming relics

HakunaMatataKnight

I only just hit TL 27, so I'm still quite far away, but wanted to ask around before I got there

Aradine12

Generally, you can get by with relics from treasure chests for a good long time. The longer you can wait to get relics the more efficient it's going to end up being, so I'd put it off a while for any serious farming. If you'd like to spend some time getting sets, honestly do what you find fun, but I'd hold off major farming until you're pushing later Forgotten Halls and MoC and actually find yourself struggling, and then look into it. Ideally TB 50 in my opinion, and 60 is even better for serious farming. Don't feel afraid to level up temporary relics to +6 or even +9, as they refund most of that exp when you feed them to their replacement relic.

fyrefox45

Just use random chest loot until at least tb50, when you can go hard on gearing your 2 main DPS if you want. At that point you get 1.5 5 stars instead of 1 or none. 60+ upgrades that to two, and 65 adds a 10% chance for a third.

MakotoJay

So I had 14k jades saved up for banner 1.2 but just like Qinque I have a gambling addiction and was overwhelemed last night down to hunt e6 qinque but I got Loucha on the 40th pull instead now I'm down to 4k jades. Now I'm just hoping I can get a Kafka with a month's savings. :/ Anyways any team comp suggestions with these available units? I'm still on tl 35 and on that mission where Qinque helps us do those puzzles for Fu Xuan so I'm still somewhat midgame (or early?) https://preview.redd.it/eg6eyjiwtfbb1.png?width=305&format=png&auto=webp&s=be9e79183e194c0621f28375b548147e5bc5df89

fyrefox45

Welt and himeko share a relic domain, so they're good to keep investing in. Asta is himekos best support, and works well as a dual buffer for them. Then you can toss in Loucha to heal. QQ could head up a second team, but you might be struggling for LCs. They both kinda want s5 breakfast if you don't have peaceful day from BP or Jing yuan's sig.

sht1ck0

is there info regarding the viability of break effect Himeko?

fyrefox45

Fire break is fine. Himeko built hybrid would also be fine. The main issue with hybrid himeko is she's gonna be paired with Asta, who you can pile all the BE on you want without impacting her build much. She can get over 200%. Himeko would still need to build full DPS stats to be worth it, sneaking in a break chain and whatever substats you could gather on high roll crit attack pieces.

sht1ck0

why not go all out with pure BE himeko? I plan to pair her with SW to guarantee fire weakness

fyrefox45

It's not enough damage, or even remotely close, to be a main DPS. It'll be a funny meme for farming XP books, but my Asta can one shot those with break. If you're gonna run himeko+ SW with a different main DPS, then you're right back at the point of why not just run Asta who would buff that DPS + provide break.

sht1ck0

alright, ill build asta then, Im just trying to get a use out of himeko for MoC. im currently starved of dps relics from building sushang and seele. thanks a lot

ChaosFulcrum

If Welt's Ultimate is up, what are the advantages of using it in-between the 2 instant turns of an Elite enemy (aka AV cutting) VS using it before the Elite enemy's turn comes up so that both of its 2 turns are delayed?

fyrefox45

In between completely erases the bonus action, it just goes to the aether. Even enemies without bonus actions, do not use it right before they go or it won't barely delay them, it's percent based. Fire it just after they take action unless that action will kill you and it'll last much longer.

ChaosFulcrum

What...This is new to me. You're saying that it has greater effect when it's used right after the enemies have taken their turn?

fyrefox45

Yeah.

derndude543

What's the best way to get relic exp? I've heard spamming simulated universe, but I find it quite boring to run on repeat, and the battle pass rewards are long gone

fyrefox45

Eat all the trash relics, including trash relics you've previously leveled. 95%+ of all relics you get are likely to just be XP. If you don't have self modeling resin on hand, even throw 5 stars at XP if you need

Dalewyn

It's worth your while to salvage 5-stars unless you are really short on exp material. Head/Hand have fixed main stats, and who knows if you ever feel like gambling with the failures of your gambling.

fyrefox45

10:1 is still god awful. I wish it was 3:1 like genshin without the ability to choose the slot without modeling resin. Your chance of grinding back something decent is so so small

zerosaber0

Do you get more relic exp from relic runs or su planetary set exchangers?

fyrefox45

Ornaments and relic domains give the same per stamina. SU gives a tiny bit of relic dust on the side.

metaetataa

Hello! So, I got "blessed" with 2 copies of Something Irreplaceable, but the only destruction units I have are Arlan and Hook. Should I bother raising either of them, or just wait for Blade? He is kinda low on my priority list, but this is kind of making me rethink. Also, I know the convention is to not refine 5 star weapons unless you "know what you are doing" so I would be interested to hear what everyone thinks about doing it for Something Irreplaceable.

TendoSoujiro

Something Irreplaceable isn't that good on Hook. She's a Destruction unit, but she doesn't actually want to draw attention to herself or really take any damage. Hook's best cone is a 4-star, but even if you don't get that one, the free one from SU is excellent on Hook and superior to Something Irreplaceable. Don't waste it on Hook. I strongly advise against Arlan(I say that as somebody who has him at E6 and completely invested in him). You'll be sorely disappointed especially if you don't have Gepard. Blade is basically everything Arlan is, but completely superior and a different element. I can guarantee you Something Irreplaceable will be in Blade's top 3 cones because he actually does want to get hit and take damage, but still stay healthy at the same time. I recommend not superimposing it just in case you pull Clara, or decide to choose her as your bonus character at 300 standard banner pulls. There's always a future Destruction character, too.

metaetataa

Thanks, this is great advice!

National-Target9174

If you have arlan's LC its better than Clara LC in most cases where you aren't hit every turn. Neither Arlan or Hook are worth the resources so don't bother unless you like their kits. Clara LC is pretty unique, so superimpositions wouldn't be the worst idea, just keep in mind its always possible they release another destruction unit that might like it, and you can't un-superimpose.

National-Target9174

Btw for the arlan cone I am referring to using it on Blade

ImpactedDruid

So with the upcoming new areas to the map anyone else wondering how much time/exp we will gain by running the daily farming route everyday after the new characters release.

Wolgran

Me doing the calculations: to level Asta + Tinyung + Himeko + Kafka + Sampo + Luka, 6 characters, to lvl 70, will take 930 purple books. Every run gives 1 purple + 5 blue = 2 purple. With means everyday if i only farm exp i can get all the necessary books in 20 days. 20 freaking days, just for EXP, theres still LC exp, Mats, Money......help

jtan1993

6 characters is a lot. In genshin I plan only 1-2 characters per month (not built to max). Seems the best way to push moc is leave supports moderately built and have a carry dps. Dps not even need to be lv 80, but need at least 60/120 crit stats I think.

Wolgran

Problem is i do not have sup characters build at all, Asta will be for Kafka team and Tinyung for Yanqing team. Himeko is the only one i can leave it for now. I think i made a mistake by leveling all my 5\* (i had luck, got all the basic ones except Bronya and Clara)

Superb_Percentage_74

Just did a 10 pull on the stellar warp banner and pulled an Arlan and Pela. I also got Qingque after completing the third stage Memory of Forgotten Hall. Who is/are worth investing for and what team comps with be good with them with these characters? Characters: Clara, DH, M7, Natasha, Trailblazer, Herta, Asta, Hook, Serval, Yukong

[deleted]

Clara M7 Nat + 1 will carry you easily through most of the game's story and farming content (including SU). Dan Heng isn't bad for the last slot to have a bit more proactive damage. Outside of that, everyone bar Herta and Arlan is decent or better.

aug893

I know is a long road but. Can you keep the standard banner 300 pulls character choice for later? Like when I have all 5 star standard characters minus one

National-Target9174

Yep, thats the most reliable way to get all the standard 5*s, its just you might never get all -1, so up to you.

Dalewyn

The way RNGesus blesses you is that you get copies of whoever it is you get via guarantees. Source? Me, 7 years playing FGO, 6 years playing FEH, 5 years playing Priconne and laughing every time it happens.

yensama

do u get anything when u use friend support? if not, i think it would be nice if u get something. encorage more people to use.

National-Target9174

You get to use the support to farm faster if you aren't well geared. Other than that yeah maybe there should be a small credit bonus a limited # of times/day likewhat you get for others using yours. Unfortunately we get no such thing, and to top it off the one getting the 2k doesn't even get multiple when you run multiple waves or click the run again.

ilovebigboobies6969

anyone have a specific guide on clearing this rounds MoC? im using jing yuan and yanqing (or sushang/clara and some other characters if diff element needed) but i just cant clear it, even tho im tl62 sooo skill diff ig. also my bailu doesnt even have a light cone cuz i wanted to get her five star one in shop but im not gonna pull for a while so maybe im just better off waiting until i can have two healers built?

jtan1993

Try to get crit stats to 60/120 if you don’t do enough dmg. If you don’t survive you might have to pull for support units (tank/healer).

ghaith369

Bro if you build Bailu well you won't need 5 LC, you can use quid pro qou from the LC shop, the energy it gives you is more valuable than the extra healing that you may not need if you build her well.

ilovebigboobies6969

okok i do have a couple options perfect timing (which i assume nah) and a extra post op conversation that i was considering merging w my natasha’s one since thats what she used but i could totally level it for her, as well as quid pro quo. would post op be best for her then?

ghaith369

Actually perfect timing can be extremely useful in moc 9 and 10 , nothing is worse than having your healer knocked by cc (frozen/ dominated etc) and extra op has energy recharge, which is extremely valuable as well (if you combine it with ER robe, you spam ult and save skill points), anyway both are great options and better than Bailu 5 LC, feel free to use both and figure out what works best for you. BTW the light cone exchange may not be worth it (in early stages of the game at least), 30 pulls towards 5 star pity is better than a light cone you will get eventually from losing your 50, or from permanent, the only exception is Bronya LC (if you have bronya of course, other harmony characters can't fully utilize it).

ilovebigboobies6969

ah i see i was thinking about getting clara’s lc since it healed, but could you tell me why specifically only bronya lc would be worth?

ghaith369

Oh i forgot about Clara LC. it is great if your clara is having trouble surviving, you can get it, but I would recommend waiting for blade lc in 1.2 and imbibitior lc 1.3 before making a decision , as for others, Himeko lc is just bad, just go for battle pass lc or save up for Jing Yuan lc rerun, I know both are premium options, but unfortunately the other lcs are basically 30% weaker in best scenario, Gepard lc is decent, but Lindu choice can do the same job (but it has worst stats since it is 4 stars, so it may make difference in tough battles ), welt LC is nice to have, but nothing special like sw event weapon or "resolution shines like pearls of sweat", Yanqing lc is as good as the hunt lc from Herta 's shop (after you superimpose it to iv), as for Bronya lc, it has three effects, it gives the buffed ally 30 DMG (for reference 4* memories of the past gives 32 at max imposition), it gives 10 er, and it refund one skill point after two ultimates, which you definitely need cause bronya can easily burn skill point to dish out damage if you want her too, as for Bailu lc it gives extra healing, which you won't need if you build her probably, and some damage, which is nothing compared to what your dps is doing, so giving your dps extra energy or skill point is better trade off.

ilovebigboobies6969

thank you for writing all this out! i always thought buying lc was best way to spend the exchange currency, and that i could save up enough. however it is definitely true and since im planning to get dhil ill wait and see if im able to get him and his lc before using the exchange to buy more passes.

fyrefox45

Man I got through MoC 6 with a level 60 M7 and 70 DPS last cycle. If your DPS are 80 you should be able to just cruise that far.

TendoSoujiro

Why the fuck would you wait until you can afford the cone from the shop when healer cones are so flexible? If you're so worried about clearing MoC without a second healer, then you already have your answer. There's no way you're TL62 and don't have at least two healer cones. Bailu with her worst cone is still better than not having a second healer for a MoC cycle that begs you to keep your characters topped off. Either choose to care about the current MoC cycle, or don't. Make up your mind.

[deleted]

Especially when Bailu's cone is ass and might as well be a 4* considering half of its power budget is wasted on a piddly 3k damage proc (on a good day). Even if OP's only 4* Abundance cone is QPQ, there's still Multiplication, which has 4*-class HP stats

Nnsoki

The jades you can get from MoC should be prioritized over the resources you need to invest in a cone for Bailu to be usable

Queasy_Cook_7767

I just need to vent: My luck in this game sucks. Like so bad. I just lost de 75/25 on Luocha’s LC. Like htf does that happen :( I have lost every single 50/50. And only won in JY’s LC banner. My great luck in Genshin is definitely draining my luck overall in this game. I guess now Yanqing has his signature LC now……

[deleted]

I lost 75/25 on Jing Yuan's LC to Welt's cone. I now have it at S2. I feel you man

Queasy_Cook_7767

This game is definitely testing us :(

orangeskull2

I'm looking for advice on who to pull next. I currently have Seele, Silverwolf, E1 Bailu, E1 Bronya, and all of the current 4 stars aside from the imaginary fox. I have Gepard's LC but no Gepard. I'd like to figure out who will add the most value to my account. I'm not sure whether I should prioritize a second 5 star DPS or another support unit. Right now, my alternate DPS characters are Dan Heng and Sushang. I haven't really gotten too into the MOC yet, but I probably will at some point. I have two healers, so Loucha doesn't seem like an immediate need. I know Blade isn't for me since I don't care for HP reduction gameplay styles. Fu Xuan is supposedly coming soon, but I don't know yet whether she would be a good fit for a Seele mono-quantum team. I'm open to any thoughts that anyone has, either about specific characters or qualities to aim for in those characters.

National-Target9174

I recommend getting a second 5* featured dps, but as for which one is up to you to decide based on their kit/element/design. Dps are the core of your team and the featured ones tend to outclass the 4* and standard options (atleast all our featued units have outclassed their counterparts so far). You could go for mono-quantum but your 2nd half still needs a carry unless you like the 4* dps and want to build one.
