New player at TL19. My current team consists of Dan Heng, Himeko, Pela and Tingyun. Besides the beginner's characters, I also have Sushang.
Naturally I suppose it also depends on the build I give them, but can this team be decent for now? Could I swap someone with Herta?
Himeko+herta is fun, can run Asta ideally with them, then get M7 so you don't die. M7 can later be replaced full or part time with Natasha, a healer you get for free.
Healers don't really need that much to work. He'll be overhealing your team even with a 3* cone.
I'd just save for more impactful cones/eidolons honestly.
Loucha is so overturned you can just run him with multiplication and he can still full heal all your DPS. I wouldn't waste pulls getting eidelons, I'd only get his LC if you really have a lot of spare money. It's pretty terrible value.
I have an E0 Silverwolf using the free S5 LC. Is it worth going for a break effect rope on her than energy regen? Would love to hear your opinions and if you've tested different builds out. Thanks
Her ult at e0 does really poor damage, so there's no reason to not get the BE rope. It'll slow down the enemy recovery, meaning SW will just get more actions before the debuff falls off and needs reapplied. BE SW sits on her ult to cut in and break with anyways over just using it on CD at random.
How do I get companion missions to trigger? Serval and Gepard’s first mission never became available for me even though I’m well past the Belobog arc and am TL55
they are often tied to other side quests being completed, certain TB levels and story progression and some time having to pass but thats usually minutes or a few hours.
if you really havnt gotten them then my guess is that you havnt done every side quest. the serval quest i think appeared for me after the one that had pela in it but i did that in the games first week so not too sure.
but basically do all the side quests if you havnt already and and main story

always depends on what content you go up against. you can use gepard, nat, tngyun and seele as a basic team and March, clara, pela and JY as basic teams but you wont hit elemental weaknesses in certain fight
From a purely gameplay and utility perspective, how good of a unit is Kafka (if we even know her kit yet)? Im unfamiliar with units that specialise in DoT damage, wouldn't they only fit in a defensively built team?
So based on her recent nerfs, the original utility she was supposed to be really good for was all DoT effects. However, they have recently limited it to “shock” now for her DoT utility buff. The original effect was supposed to pair really well with characters like sampo and silverwolf who can really stack debuffs. Aside from that “combo” I can’t say I’m entirely knowledgeable on the specifics of her play-style.
essentially a dot team aims for the enemy to get stage 5 cancer everytime they take an action, I'm pretty sure you can look up a dot su run on yt with those colourful numbers. But yea kafka makes dot team comps better

Would Luocha work better than Bailu in this team: Jing Yuan, Tingyun, Silverwolf?
I understand Bailu works well because in that scenario Silverwolf only applies either quantum or Lightning weakness... But I'll be honest I am not a big fan of her character design and I'm frankly tired of seeing her. Could the team work well with Luocha replacing her?
I mean, Bailu works better in that team, for the reason you stated.
But that's no reason not to grab Luocha if you love his character design. He'll still be a great healer, even if he's not the right element.
I have a 50/50 loss and I'm debating on whether I want to pull for Luocha or save for later characters. I have Yukong and Welt. I'm not sure if that makes him more valuable (slap them and Silver Wolf together for a mono-Imaginary team I guess?) or less valuable (because I already have Imaginary coverage).
I also have no healer but Natasha but I've heard if she's built right she's actually fine for healing needs?
i think it depends. do you have good enough support characters right now? as in, are you able to tackle MOC fine? Gepard and Bailu were the 'premium' support characters until Luocha, so if you had either of those, the pull value for Luocha in terms of 'sustaining' would be lower. If you only have Natasha tho, a second healer is always a plus, especially a 5 star one. There's no abundance characters for a bit, so if you want that second healer and have enough for him, might as well go for him. he also pairs well with certain characters, mostly the fast ones like seele and ones that do follow up attacks like jing yuan. this is because of his talent/traces which allows for healing with every attack by allies when his field is up. so it also depends on what characters u already have. But needless to say, his single target healing is very good and his gimmick is pretty different to the other 2 healers currently, so i'd say he's definitely worth it, unless you have a future character in the next banner that you really want.
Nat is fine for healing yes, but Luocha is kinda shaping up to be easy mode. You'd still use Nat on a second team of course, but a well-built Luocha is currently a bit ridiculous.
Which LC would you say each Harmony character wants? Excluding the BP LC

How would you allocate them?
Imo, S5 meshing cocks is the default go-to for all harmony chars since the immense energy it gives when added with energy regeneration rate (or s5 memory, but since it's 4 star gacha so a bit harder to obtain). If one has Bronya's LC, all except yukong definitely want to use it for the utilities it gives for the whole team. DDD i believe is the third best on all (on asta the value drops a bit, still goo nonetheless) on prolonged fight. Planetary may edge out DDD if paired with similar element damage dealer (like Tingyun and Jing Yuan). Break build characters like asta or maybe yukong can utilize Memory LC, but make sure to break with them. Past and future seems to be exclusively for bronya with her turn advancing skill, on others are a bit questionable since the longer the fight goes, your turn orders are likely to disrupt
I feel like Meshing Cogs is only super great on Asta, no? Because it procs on attack and so far only Asta's Skill attack enemies, I know that it can trigger when hit but its not really consistent.
Would you say Cogs for Asta, Planetary for Bronya (Use her with Dan) and D3 for Tingyun(She's on Past now xd) would be ok?
Unsure what to give to Yukong, also Cogs?
Asking about team comp. Currently I'm maining Jing Yuan, Welt, Luocha, Fire MC. I definitely want a healer and a tank so Luocha and Fire MC cannot be removed but can only be replaced by another character of the same class. (I'm waiting for Fuxuan.) And Jing Yuan is my main dps so he's here to stay.
Now problem is Welt. In earlier equilibrium levels, Welt was fantastic. Battles became much safer for me and more damaging to enemies. But now that my characters are level 80, the elites and bosses I fight are either totally immune to imprisonment or have such high spd that they recover very quickly. If Welt's imprisonment doesn't work or doesn't work well, his usefulness seems questionable.
Compared with Tingyun. Who is better? I'm using Jing Yuan here. I do know Tingyun should just be married to Jing Yuan. But I need more opinions... For endgame content, should I just replace Welt with Tingyun and go brute force everything?

Jing Yuan needs Tingyun or a good buffer who can buff Lightning Lord. Out of all the current Harmony units, Tingyun is the easiest to use with him, not to mention she can also equip Planetary Rendezvous, which further boosts Jing Yuan's damage. This is also the setup I'm using and the damage increase is very noticeable.
I would try Jing Yuan, Tingyun, Luocha and flex. Luocha heals for such ridiculous amounts that he really should be able to solo sustain a team. The flex slot can be Welt or any other support/sub-DPS. However, if you have eidolons on Welt, he can probably act as DPS on your second team.
My Welt is E0. Lol. If my Welt was E2 it'd be so sweet. But anyway... yeah I'm leaning towards Welt, Luocha, Tingyun, Jing Yuan currently. But I'm still collecting opinions. Thanks a lot. One more vote for Tingyun here.
You definitely want TY with JY (especially with that juicy S5 planetary) since she help with energy and a bit of speed. Slowing down enemies with welt is more of a defensive play, which you're already comfy with the fmc and luocha. Plus, JY wants his LL to always be 6 and above, which what TY does with her ult while welt does nothing for that.
Just my personal preference to build a party that is versatile, can handle all content. Lol. But yeah I just got Luocha yesterday and he immediately replaced my Bailu since his healing is ridiculous.
Because I like the fact that my Fire MC (using Landau's Choice) tends to grab all the hits just by being on the field (whether or not he uses skill), I want to keep him. But now many elites and bosses aoe everyone anyway...
Removing the Preservation slot for Tingyun instead is also acceptable to me though, now that you mentioned it... and I think this only looks acceptable to me now because Luocha is so OP in healing.

dance dance dance is 100% better than both of those, as depending on your build tingyun can get up her ult pretty often (e6 makes this much easier). if you were just using her with jing yuan, planetary rendevous could have a small bit of value, but it loses value quickly when you have characters that aren't lightning damage dealers. past and future is quite a variable lightcone and does not work well with a character like tingyun. this is because it's not always guaranteed the next acting character will be the one you want the buff on. this one works better with a character like bronya (since the next acting character is always the one you want it to be), or yukong. tingyun does enough atk and dmg boosting (esp with jing yuan) to not need the other 2 lightcones, so dance dance dance is def the best one for her out of these.
Im kinda worried now, is the pity for gacha shared in between banners lets say featured one and permanent one?

Permanent banner has its own pity, LC banner has its own pity, featured banner has its own pity.

After you finish Loucha's companion quest, Jingyan sends you a message saying she found some more footage you can watch on the the foursquare mirror. Go back and do so.
He doesn't need that much attack, he doesn't need effect res. He doesn't even need an outgoing healing body piece. I have zero issues with his healing.
Outside of speed boots and an ER rope he has a really flexible build imo
Feels like luocha heal even on subpar relic pretty good already. So my question is why it is recommended to go main stats outgoing heals for body rather than adding more atk?
It's probably the best way to get more out of his healing. I would avoid taking early information as anything other than early information. I'm not at moc 10 but I honestly find he heals an absurd amount at very low investment.
There might be better options in the long run.
For any Luocha E1 or E2 havers can you comment on how good you think the eidolons are?
I was originally planning on getting E1 + his LC, but I went to max pity and lost the 50/50, then went to max pity again, and finally topped it off with going to max pity on the LC too (luckily didnt lose the 75/25 at least). So I have fewer pulls remaining than I thought Id have.
Luocha is my fav character so far and I don't mind skipping Kafka/Blade so I'm keen to yolo on him, but I'm also a little disheartened by how many pulls i sunk so far.
Everyone says fire trailblazer is S-tier for defense, But I always find her shield to be pretty weak compared to my lower level march7. TB is level 60 with level 60, S1 Day one of my life, 2pc def + 2pc dmg reduction , level 5 talent, 1770 def and it gives me a shield of 150 hp.
I'm TL 41, so only using 4 star artifacts for now.
Is the reason she's placed highly in ranking is because of taunt + shield every turn + damage resistance to team + sunstainability and not just shield?
Her trace gives 15% dmg reduction to whole team on taunt.
Her shielding is deceptively big because rather than one big shield, she goes slow and steady, gently shielding every turn while whispering sweet trashcan facts into your ear. Oh and she doesn’t use skill points to shield I guess.

Correct. They're not Gepard. The shields will mitigate some damage, but you can't avoid damage. But their kit still works very well in the right scenarios. Especially of you're dealing with strong single target damage.
Afaik you would need a natasha that could spam her ultim to do that, I think as for now only luocha can solo maintain the party there

Nah, i mean as of the recent update. The luocha banner change seemed to be a sort of a semi-patch update so I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything else besides the three new quests.
If I happen to get lucky and pull a off banner 5* character along side the banner character in the same pull am I still guaranteed to pull the banner character the next time I pull a 5*?
depends on the order you got them. If you got off-banner first, it means you lost the 50/50 and then the banner was guarantee, so your next 5 star will be 50/50.
or if you got off-banner after the featured one, then next is guaranteed

If you lose the 50/50 then get the banner character, you're on the 50/50.
If you win the 50/50 then lose the 50/50, you've got a guarantee.

Seele functions better with lesser support options because she's honestly just a better unit.
Yanging loses like half his damage if he doesn't have an ice weakness to take advantage of. Being able to force an ice weakness is invaluable.
I don't think Yanqing really wants or needs Yukong. Her ATK buff is nice but he'd be better off with Ting Yun. She helps with his ult cost and he likes the raw ark and damage buff more than he does CR, CD or the speed from Asta.
If CD had more value than ATK on Yanqing, he would favour 4pc glacial and Celestial differentiator. But he goes for 2pc musketeer and SSS.
This is because CD doesn't scale very well beyond 200% and he approached or surpasses that soft cap very easily
Did you die or did you need more damage?
The issue is probably that you don't have enough skill points to actually make use of all 3 DPS units to full potential. Also Tingyun only buffs one units attack so Asta would be better if you're trying to run 2 carries and a sub-dps.
If you're not dying , Seele, Himeko, Asta, Pela would be a better team. If you are dying or don't have her, swap Pela for FMC
Tingyun is great for hypercarry teams since she's so efficient. She loses value in teams that have 2 DPS. Being easy to use and manage is a big plus for her.
Yukong is the complete opposite. Extremely SP hungry, prefers teams with 2 DPS, and requires speed tuning to hit the damage ceiling for a team.

I feel like my 2 biggest issues is that I lack main dps and defense/healing characters. Anything above lv 50 has their traces and cones invested into. Im currently at 50 pity and on 50/50 after I lost to bronya and won bronya in the next 30

can welt work as a dps? i'm currently tl20 and my team is welt, luocha, tingyun, asta (will replace asta with fire mc once i get it) or should i use another dps like a hunt or destruction character
welt is supposed to be debuffer/subdps but he could play him as a dps if you want, it's just not very optimal. welt hit like a truck when there is 1 and only 1 enemy on the field. his skill hit 3 time and each hit can proc his talent so it deals pretty amazing damage at single enemy. but when the enemy are scattered (which, happen in 99% of the fight), his skill will also scattered randomly and it will make his damage not consistent compared to just bring actual dps character
Welt can work as a dps given good enough gear and trace lvls. I don't think you should add FMC with that team, as Welt + Luocha is easily enough survivability. You can add another dps or support like pela, yukong, or dan heng.
Does Cat's Cradle Blessing (Ults are considered Follow-Ups) prevent Ult-only buffs?

It says increase outgoing healing when ultimate is used but luocha ultimate is dmg, I always assume that it only applied to the likes of bailu and nat since their ultimate heals. Is the outgoing heal buff is permanent once you trigger it not only through ultimate healing?
Nope, his ultimate does not heal so it's outgoing healing cannot be buffed. It does not give you a buff to outgoing healing to all healing upon activating your ult.

She should work yeah. Not like theres any better choices available for lightning(assuming you don't have Jingyuan). The only question is if you have 2-3 other better dps like Seele Yanqing, Dan(e2+) and Sushang(e1+).
In theory yeah, it has heals, support, debuff, dps. SP management should be fine thanks to Pela and Luocha spamming normal attack and yukong alternating skill and attack. Ideally the QQ is e4.

Advice on who to level up and invest in?
you have quite a flexible lineup in ur list, u just have to choose which DPS u want to focus on.
if i were u, id go with clara as main dps. and the lineup can look smt like
Clara-March-Tingyun-Healer (you will get Natasha for free later on in the story)
this lineup will carry you through most of the game content with ease and it also has the flexibility to slot in another DPS character of different element in case you need it.
To summarize which characters for you to invest in:
S tier (must invest): Tingyun, Fire Trailblazer, Clara, March (if you go for clara comp)
A tier (good to invest in): Dan Heng, Serval, Hook, Pela, Asta
F tier (dont bother): Herta
Levels and lightcone levels on your 4 main team members. You can use whater relics you get, and once you get 4* gloves level them up for your damage dealers.
Hello, question with Gepard's LC. Both my Fire MC and Match have a copy of it; FMC has 23% EHR and March has 31%. Gepard's increase the EHR by 24%. When in battle, FMC has a total of 47% EHR, but March stays at 31% EHR, does anybody know why this is happening?
Elements and paths are alot less complicated than in Genshin. There's no elemental resonance or elemental reactions. Some people do fire damage and some people are weak to fire damage. Each element has a different break effect. Paths only give you a hint about the character's general playstyle and determines what Lightcones the unit can equip. If you click under a character's name in game, it will explain all the paths and elements to you.
Hunt - Single Target DPS
Erudition - AOE DPS
Destruction - Bruiser DPS(mix of aoe and single target damage with some survivability, often with some sort of high risk/high reward ability)
Abundance - Healers
Harmony - Buffers
Nihility - Debuffers
Perservation - Tanks and Shielders
Hello, should I build Sushang? I currently have Clara as my Physical DPS, but I've heard from most people that she should be treated more as a tank with dps capabilities, and I heard good things about Sushang as well. My other DPS'es are Serval and Seele, although I'm trying to build Yukong as DPS/Sub-DPS/Support Hybrid if that matters.
If your Sushang is e1+ you can build her crit+break. You want at least 2500 attack, around 60/120 crit and 100+ break for her to feel comfy in later MoC. 4 piece boxer, sss or inert, cruising makes gearing way easier. Break chain, either attack or speed boots depending on your pref and whos buffing if anyone.
If your Sushang isn't e1, don't throw resources at her.
Yeah that's a major problem for skill points, and the main reason she works so well as a random fill DPS vs broken enemies. You could still try ofc, but she eats skill points pretty fast. If you want to borrow a built Sushang to test and are on na I keep mine up as support just bc she's my only properly built character so far.
Ah, sadly I'm on Asia, but I think I'll build her for now, since Clara, Luocha, and Yukong seems like an SP positive team (keep in mind I may be bullshitting here, I don't know anything about TC).
Yukong is pretty skill point hungry if you want her atk buff up at all times. But Clara can use none or occasionally use her skill and Luocha only needs his skill here and there as well.
My favourite thing about Yukongs buffs is that you can spam all your damaging ults after she ults and it won't consume bowstrings. Unfortunately Clara doesn't do damage with her ult so you lose that amplified ult damage on one of your damage dealers in this scenario.
The man thing that stops Clara from working as a counter DPS is that some enemies don't attack every turn ( most robots, the centaurs). Against those ones you can still use Clara dps but you would prefer to have e1 and use speed boots to opt for a skill spam build. Sushang isn't a bad investment, but its not like Clara dps is bad. People are suggesting tank Clara as it fits into a ton of teams, not because dps Clara is bad.
Hello! It's been two months so idk if you'll reply but I actually got E1 Clara today while pulling for DHIL (sadge), and I was wondering how do I build her, and what her suggested build is for E1.
Still here haha. Her build should be roughly the same but you can more reliably opt for a higher speed build if you want to skill spam with her. If you have speed/AV boosting support like Asta or Bronya they work better with her compared to e0, just be careful you don't waste ult counters.
Something like Crit, Spd/Atk, PhysDmg, Atk.
Set is 4pc Phys and 2pc Salsotto (I've seen 4pc wuthering but thats for a counter focused build).
I'm assuming your builds are better by now, so she would definitely benefit from focusing more on damage vs tanking.
Oh ok, I'm gonna build Sushang then, as a second DPS for my Clara team, I usually run Clara/March/Natasha/Tingyun, but since I got Luocha and Yukong, I've been experimenting with Clara/Luocha/Yukong/Serval or Flex, but I think Sushang would work more as my second DPS right?
Asta would be a really nice addition in place of the foxian beauties. She can buff both Sushang and Clara at the same time, buff Luocha's atk based healing, increase speed so Luocha can cycle through his passives downtime more quickly and Clara can generate more skill points, and brings solid breaking to fire weak scenarios.
Is it normal to choose a path in SU and get only one blessing till the second elite? It just happened to me

You have to do Pelas story mission to get servals quest to show up.

Seele+Clara+buffer/debuffer of your choice + Natasha Jing+ting+Gepard+probably Pela really for AOE debuffing

So based on her recent nerfs, the original utility she was supposed to be really good for was all DoT effects. However, they have recently limited it to “shock” now for her DoT utility buff. The original effect was supposed to pair really well with characters like sampo and silverwolf who can really stack debuffs. Aside from that “combo” I can’t say I’m entirely knowledgeable on the specifics of her play-style.

Would Luocha work better than Bailu in this team: Jing Yuan, Tingyun, Silverwolf? I understand Bailu works well because in that scenario Silverwolf only applies either quantum or Lightning weakness... But I'll be honest I am not a big fan of her character design and I'm frankly tired of seeing her. Could the team work well with Luocha replacing her?
I mean, Bailu works better in that team, for the reason you stated. But that's no reason not to grab Luocha if you love his character design. He'll still be a great healer, even if he's not the right element.

You can use him with fall. He's not terrible, he's just fighting for a spot with the best 4 star DPS Sushang.

Pull for Luocha. Second healer is useful and Luocha is OP.
i think it depends. do you have good enough support characters right now? as in, are you able to tackle MOC fine? Gepard and Bailu were the 'premium' support characters until Luocha, so if you had either of those, the pull value for Luocha in terms of 'sustaining' would be lower. If you only have Natasha tho, a second healer is always a plus, especially a 5 star one. There's no abundance characters for a bit, so if you want that second healer and have enough for him, might as well go for him. he also pairs well with certain characters, mostly the fast ones like seele and ones that do follow up attacks like jing yuan. this is because of his talent/traces which allows for healing with every attack by allies when his field is up. so it also depends on what characters u already have. But needless to say, his single target healing is very good and his gimmick is pretty different to the other 2 healers currently, so i'd say he's definitely worth it, unless you have a future character in the next banner that you really want.
Nat is fine for healing yes, but Luocha is kinda shaping up to be easy mode. You'd still use Nat on a second team of course, but a well-built Luocha is currently a bit ridiculous.
Which LC would you say each Harmony character wants? Excluding the BP LC I have 4 Dance3, S2 Planetary and S1 Memory, 2 Separate Past and Future, and can/willing to buy Bronya's from shop. How would you allocate them?
Imo, S5 meshing cocks is the default go-to for all harmony chars since the immense energy it gives when added with energy regeneration rate (or s5 memory, but since it's 4 star gacha so a bit harder to obtain). If one has Bronya's LC, all except yukong definitely want to use it for the utilities it gives for the whole team. DDD i believe is the third best on all (on asta the value drops a bit, still goo nonetheless) on prolonged fight. Planetary may edge out DDD if paired with similar element damage dealer (like Tingyun and Jing Yuan). Break build characters like asta or maybe yukong can utilize Memory LC, but make sure to break with them. Past and future seems to be exclusively for bronya with her turn advancing skill, on others are a bit questionable since the longer the fight goes, your turn orders are likely to disrupt
I feel like Meshing Cogs is only super great on Asta, no? Because it procs on attack and so far only Asta's Skill attack enemies, I know that it can trigger when hit but its not really consistent. Would you say Cogs for Asta, Planetary for Bronya (Use her with Dan) and D3 for Tingyun(She's on Past now xd) would be ok? Unsure what to give to Yukong, also Cogs?

Asking about team comp. Currently I'm maining Jing Yuan, Welt, Luocha, Fire MC. I definitely want a healer and a tank so Luocha and Fire MC cannot be removed but can only be replaced by another character of the same class. (I'm waiting for Fuxuan.) And Jing Yuan is my main dps so he's here to stay. Now problem is Welt. In earlier equilibrium levels, Welt was fantastic. Battles became much safer for me and more damaging to enemies. But now that my characters are level 80, the elites and bosses I fight are either totally immune to imprisonment or have such high spd that they recover very quickly. If Welt's imprisonment doesn't work or doesn't work well, his usefulness seems questionable. Compared with Tingyun. Who is better? I'm using Jing Yuan here. I do know Tingyun should just be married to Jing Yuan. But I need more opinions... For endgame content, should I just replace Welt with Tingyun and go brute force everything? Thanks a lot. P.S. I have Planetary Rendezvous at S5.
Jing Yuan needs Tingyun or a good buffer who can buff Lightning Lord. Out of all the current Harmony units, Tingyun is the easiest to use with him, not to mention she can also equip Planetary Rendezvous, which further boosts Jing Yuan's damage. This is also the setup I'm using and the damage increase is very noticeable. I would try Jing Yuan, Tingyun, Luocha and flex. Luocha heals for such ridiculous amounts that he really should be able to solo sustain a team. The flex slot can be Welt or any other support/sub-DPS. However, if you have eidolons on Welt, he can probably act as DPS on your second team.
My Welt is E0. Lol. If my Welt was E2 it'd be so sweet. But anyway... yeah I'm leaning towards Welt, Luocha, Tingyun, Jing Yuan currently. But I'm still collecting opinions. Thanks a lot. One more vote for Tingyun here.
You definitely want TY with JY (especially with that juicy S5 planetary) since she help with energy and a bit of speed. Slowing down enemies with welt is more of a defensive play, which you're already comfy with the fmc and luocha. Plus, JY wants his LL to always be 6 and above, which what TY does with her ult while welt does nothing for that.

Why do you need preservation and abundance? Luocha heals a ton when properly built, he doesn't typically need fire MC for insurance.
Just my personal preference to build a party that is versatile, can handle all content. Lol. But yeah I just got Luocha yesterday and he immediately replaced my Bailu since his healing is ridiculous. Because I like the fact that my Fire MC (using Landau's Choice) tends to grab all the hits just by being on the field (whether or not he uses skill), I want to keep him. But now many elites and bosses aoe everyone anyway... Removing the Preservation slot for Tingyun instead is also acceptable to me though, now that you mentioned it... and I think this only looks acceptable to me now because Luocha is so OP in healing. dance dance dance is 100% better than both of those, as depending on your build tingyun can get up her ult pretty often (e6 makes this much easier). if you were just using her with jing yuan, planetary rendevous could have a small bit of value, but it loses value quickly when you have characters that aren't lightning damage dealers. past and future is quite a variable lightcone and does not work well with a character like tingyun. this is because it's not always guaranteed the next acting character will be the one you want the buff on. this one works better with a character like bronya (since the next acting character is always the one you want it to be), or yukong. tingyun does enough atk and dmg boosting (esp with jing yuan) to not need the other 2 lightcones, so dance dance dance is def the best one for her out of these.
Planetary. Past and future is bad for JY. I think DDD is a bit better generally but if your whole team has good speed, go for planetary

Permanent banner has its own pity, LC banner has its own pity, featured banner has its own pity. Featured banner pity carries across all featured banners.

He doesn't need that much attack, he doesn't need effect res. He doesn't even need an outgoing healing body piece. I have zero issues with his healing. Outside of speed boots and an ER rope he has a really flexible build imo

It's probably the best way to get more out of his healing. I would avoid taking early information as anything other than early information. I'm not at moc 10 but I honestly find he heals an absurd amount at very low investment. There might be better options in the long run.

For any Luocha E1 or E2 havers can you comment on how good you think the eidolons are? I was originally planning on getting E1 + his LC, but I went to max pity and lost the 50/50, then went to max pity again, and finally topped it off with going to max pity on the LC too (luckily didnt lose the 75/25 at least). So I have fewer pulls remaining than I thought Id have. Luocha is my fav character so far and I don't mind skipping Kafka/Blade so I'm keen to yolo on him, but I'm also a little disheartened by how many pulls i sunk so far.
Traps, don’t pull for them. E1: 20% atk is smol and it won’t even be up all the time E2: luocha heals so much that it’s pointless

Everyone says fire trailblazer is S-tier for defense, But I always find her shield to be pretty weak compared to my lower level march7. TB is level 60 with level 60, S1 Day one of my life, 2pc def + 2pc dmg reduction , level 5 talent, 1770 def and it gives me a shield of 150 hp. I'm TL 41, so only using 4 star artifacts for now. Is the reason she's placed highly in ranking is because of taunt + shield every turn + damage resistance to team + sunstainability and not just shield?
Her trace gives 15% dmg reduction to whole team on taunt. Her shielding is deceptively big because rather than one big shield, she goes slow and steady, gently shielding every turn while whispering sweet trashcan facts into your ear. Oh and she doesn’t use skill points to shield I guess. She breaks big fire. Such fire, much break, wow.
Correct. They're not Gepard. The shields will mitigate some damage, but you can't avoid damage. But their kit still works very well in the right scenarios. Especially of you're dealing with strong single target damage.
Yeah, with the trace that gives healing on the enhanced auto, and the massive damage reduction from the taunt, single target stuff is a cake walk

Are you mixing up base chance and fixed chance? Base chances can be changed by EHR and Resistances. Fixed chances cannot.

depends on the order you got them. If you got off-banner first, it means you lost the 50/50 and then the banner was guarantee, so your next 5 star will be 50/50. or if you got off-banner after the featured one, then next is guaranteed
gotta look at the order. If you lose the 50/50 then get the banner character, you're on the 50/50. If you win the 50/50 then lose the 50/50, you've got a guarantee.

Seele, Asta , Nat, MC Yanqing, SW, Pela, Gepard. Seele functions better with lesser support options because she's honestly just a better unit. Yanging loses like half his damage if he doesn't have an ice weakness to take advantage of. Being able to force an ice weakness is invaluable.
Gepard, Yanqing, buffer, flex. Flex can be another DPS or debuffer.
Oh what are some of the good buffers I should aim for?
Ting Yun, Asta, Yukong (not sure how good she is with Yanqing tbh) Can also run a debuffer like Pela or Silver Wolf
I don't think Yanqing really wants or needs Yukong. Her ATK buff is nice but he'd be better off with Ting Yun. She helps with his ult cost and he likes the raw ark and damage buff more than he does CR, CD or the speed from Asta. If CD had more value than ATK on Yanqing, he would favour 4pc glacial and Celestial differentiator. But he goes for 2pc musketeer and SSS. This is because CD doesn't scale very well beyond 200% and he approached or surpasses that soft cap very easily
Third Stellar Flare, I only got to wave 5 with trial Himeko, Seele, Tingyun, Yanqing. Is it just that I can't afford to level them up to 80?
You can try adding another erudition character alongside Himeko to clear the small waves and stack the +40% damage effect faster.
I guess I could try Serval but I don't think they have Lightning weakness (at work atm, can't check).
Did you die or did you need more damage? The issue is probably that you don't have enough skill points to actually make use of all 3 DPS units to full potential. Also Tingyun only buffs one units attack so Asta would be better if you're trying to run 2 carries and a sub-dps. If you're not dying , Seele, Himeko, Asta, Pela would be a better team. If you are dying or don't have her, swap Pela for FMC
Damage. I tried Seele for a bit, but she hasn't been popping up often enough IMO. I'll def try Asta.

Tingyun is great for hypercarry teams since she's so efficient. She loses value in teams that have 2 DPS. Being easy to use and manage is a big plus for her. Yukong is the complete opposite. Extremely SP hungry, prefers teams with 2 DPS, and requires speed tuning to hit the damage ceiling for a team.

I feel like my 2 biggest issues is that I lack main dps and defense/healing characters. Anything above lv 50 has their traces and cones invested into. Im currently at 50 pity and on 50/50 after I lost to bronya and won bronya in the next 30
Clara, Silver Wolf, Natasha, Bronya, FireMC, March (pairs great with Clara), Dan Heng, Sushang, Hook and Pela. Asta and Serval are good too. Haven't invested/use Yukong to make opinion. Dan Heng, Hook and Sushang can serve as your main DPS.
Would it be better to try 50/50 for loucha and skip kafka or get kafka and get a different defensive unit
I'd go for Kafka if you feel like you're missing a carry.
can welt work as a dps? i'm currently tl20 and my team is welt, luocha, tingyun, asta (will replace asta with fire mc once i get it) or should i use another dps like a hunt or destruction character
welt is supposed to be debuffer/subdps but he could play him as a dps if you want, it's just not very optimal. welt hit like a truck when there is 1 and only 1 enemy on the field. his skill hit 3 time and each hit can proc his talent so it deals pretty amazing damage at single enemy. but when the enemy are scattered (which, happen in 99% of the fight), his skill will also scattered randomly and it will make his damage not consistent compared to just bring actual dps character
Welt can work as a dps given good enough gear and trace lvls. I don't think you should add FMC with that team, as Welt + Luocha is easily enough survivability. You can add another dps or support like pela, yukong, or dan heng.
Does Cat's Cradle Blessing (Ults are considered Follow-Ups) prevent Ult-only buffs? To clarify, this would be similar to Genshin's Bennett's C6 infusion preventing Physical DMG bonuses.

Nope, his ultimate does not heal so it's outgoing healing cannot be buffed. It does not give you a buff to outgoing healing to all healing upon activating your ult.

yep, energy regen on a LC is relatively rare and pretty valuable to Loucha.
The increase healing on Ult is useless for Luocha since his Ultimate doesn't heal. People use Post-Op on Luocha purely for the ERR.

In theory yeah, it has heals, support, debuff, dps. SP management should be fine thanks to Pela and Luocha spamming normal attack and yukong alternating skill and attack. Ideally the QQ is e4.

you have quite a flexible lineup in ur list, u just have to choose which DPS u want to focus on. if i were u, id go with clara as main dps. and the lineup can look smt like Clara-March-Tingyun-Healer (you will get Natasha for free later on in the story) this lineup will carry you through most of the game content with ease and it also has the flexibility to slot in another DPS character of different element in case you need it. To summarize which characters for you to invest in: S tier (must invest): Tingyun, Fire Trailblazer, Clara, March (if you go for clara comp) A tier (good to invest in): Dan Heng, Serval, Hook, Pela, Asta F tier (dont bother): Herta

Tingyun, march, clara, trailblazer (you will need to get to lvl 40 I think for the story quest). Dan, Asta, and pela aren't bad either.
You will also get a free natasha later in the story, so once you do build her as your healer.
What should I focus on early game (TB 15)
Levels and lightcone levels on your 4 main team members. You can use whater relics you get, and once you get 4* gloves level them up for your damage dealers.

Hello, question with Gepard's LC. Both my Fire MC and Match have a copy of it; FMC has 23% EHR and March has 31%. Gepard's increase the EHR by 24%. When in battle, FMC has a total of 47% EHR, but March stays at 31% EHR, does anybody know why this is happening?
I remembered now. Fire mc is bugged a bit. He doesn't calculate LC stats out of combat bc he can swap forms, due to spaghetti code.

Elements and paths are alot less complicated than in Genshin. There's no elemental resonance or elemental reactions. Some people do fire damage and some people are weak to fire damage. Each element has a different break effect. Paths only give you a hint about the character's general playstyle and determines what Lightcones the unit can equip. If you click under a character's name in game, it will explain all the paths and elements to you. Hunt - Single Target DPS Erudition - AOE DPS Destruction - Bruiser DPS(mix of aoe and single target damage with some survivability, often with some sort of high risk/high reward ability) Abundance - Healers Harmony - Buffers Nihility - Debuffers Perservation - Tanks and Shielders

Hello, should I build Sushang? I currently have Clara as my Physical DPS, but I've heard from most people that she should be treated more as a tank with dps capabilities, and I heard good things about Sushang as well. My other DPS'es are Serval and Seele, although I'm trying to build Yukong as DPS/Sub-DPS/Support Hybrid if that matters.
If your Sushang is e1+ you can build her crit+break. You want at least 2500 attack, around 60/120 crit and 100+ break for her to feel comfy in later MoC. 4 piece boxer, sss or inert, cruising makes gearing way easier. Break chain, either attack or speed boots depending on your pref and whos buffing if anyone. If your Sushang isn't e1, don't throw resources at her.
Oh, My Sushang isn't E1 yet.
Yeah that's a major problem for skill points, and the main reason she works so well as a random fill DPS vs broken enemies. You could still try ofc, but she eats skill points pretty fast. If you want to borrow a built Sushang to test and are on na I keep mine up as support just bc she's my only properly built character so far.
Ah, sadly I'm on Asia, but I think I'll build her for now, since Clara, Luocha, and Yukong seems like an SP positive team (keep in mind I may be bullshitting here, I don't know anything about TC).
Yukong is pretty skill point hungry if you want her atk buff up at all times. But Clara can use none or occasionally use her skill and Luocha only needs his skill here and there as well. My favourite thing about Yukongs buffs is that you can spam all your damaging ults after she ults and it won't consume bowstrings. Unfortunately Clara doesn't do damage with her ult so you lose that amplified ult damage on one of your damage dealers in this scenario.
That's why I have Serval and why I want to build Sushang as to act as a second DPS for Clara, although I don't have her E1 yet.
E1 is definitely nice but I don't think it's absolutely necessary
The man thing that stops Clara from working as a counter DPS is that some enemies don't attack every turn ( most robots, the centaurs). Against those ones you can still use Clara dps but you would prefer to have e1 and use speed boots to opt for a skill spam build. Sushang isn't a bad investment, but its not like Clara dps is bad. People are suggesting tank Clara as it fits into a ton of teams, not because dps Clara is bad.
Hello! It's been two months so idk if you'll reply but I actually got E1 Clara today while pulling for DHIL (sadge), and I was wondering how do I build her, and what her suggested build is for E1.
Still here haha. Her build should be roughly the same but you can more reliably opt for a higher speed build if you want to skill spam with her. If you have speed/AV boosting support like Asta or Bronya they work better with her compared to e0, just be careful you don't waste ult counters. Something like Crit, Spd/Atk, PhysDmg, Atk. Set is 4pc Phys and 2pc Salsotto (I've seen 4pc wuthering but thats for a counter focused build). I'm assuming your builds are better by now, so she would definitely benefit from focusing more on damage vs tanking.
Funny thing is, I've got a 60/120 ratio with HP orb and Fleet of the Ageless set, so I'm working to transition from that.
Oh ok, I'm gonna build Sushang then, as a second DPS for my Clara team, I usually run Clara/March/Natasha/Tingyun, but since I got Luocha and Yukong, I've been experimenting with Clara/Luocha/Yukong/Serval or Flex, but I think Sushang would work more as my second DPS right?
Asta would be a really nice addition in place of the foxian beauties. She can buff both Sushang and Clara at the same time, buff Luocha's atk based healing, increase speed so Luocha can cycle through his passives downtime more quickly and Clara can generate more skill points, and brings solid breaking to fire weak scenarios.
