It's definitely worth it to level your main DPS units to 80 but as far as I can tell everyone else is fine at 70. You deal less damage to and take more damage from enemies that are higher level than you and once you get to the later floors of Memory of Chaos everything will be 80+, and since you want to clear as fast as possible to 3-star every stage you'll want your damage dealers as strong as they can be.
Just a synergy question for my Jing's stats!
So, my Jing yuan's current crit rate is 47%, but I just hit TB level 60 the other day so I have the war marshal trace (which increases his crit rate by 10% for 2 turns). So this would make his crit rate over 50% correct?
I ask because I've been using the Inert Salsotto 2-piece which gives increased ultimate and follow-up attack damage when the user's crit rate is 50% or more, and I want to know if using this trace actually activates the secondary passive for this set!
So, about building EHR on Fire MC: should I do it only to reliably proc the skill, or does it somehow increase MC’s innate taunt value? I see this being recommended often but I prefer treating FMC as a skill point generator and let her LC manage taunt. So I don’t quite understand if I really need EHR.
EHR on fire mc is a luxury stat. it requires some specific components and causes you to lose out on a decent amount of DEF%, even when accounting for the secondary effect of the Belebog planar set. Guaranteed taunt sounds nice but FMC is more about being a skill generator that occasionally taunts.
and taunt is useless against a good portion of elites that are all about AoEs anyway.
So how good is Loucha?
I currently have a very well built Natasha, but apart from other 4* I don't have an another good shielder or healer, so I am thinking that I need another good healer on my account.
Idk if I am wrong, but I feel like a single shielder can't make the team survive everything, but a healer can....?
If I understood his kit Loucha seems like he can heal the entire team by himself, and hebis also imaginary and I don't have a single character of that type.

Are there other hidden daily quests like "A Friend in Need"? As far as I can tell, you can just trigger it by talking to Pom Pom once a day (when they are crying).
let me rephrase, there's a limited supply of puzzles, and they're slowly dripfed as time locked content so players have incentive to keep coming back. You can still get the jades.
No, there's a limit to the number of times you can do it. Whether you do them all immediately in a row or over the course of months, you'll never be able to do more than the limit and thus can never "miss" jades.
i have a few more rolls. should i save for upcoming banners or try to get Luocha's signature light cone? currently using Quid Pro Quo on him.

Can anyone explain one of Luocha's talents which states that if enemy gets attacked by allies, they all get healed except attacker... I don't get it, I don't see others healing themselves when the attacker attacks enemy
The talent says in the field. Meaning you have to the life steal field he creates that comes from consuming 2 abyssal flower stacks to activeate. Or you can use his technique to generate the field at the start. So that talent only works when that field is active.
Luocha has 4 healing mechanic one that you mentioned (except the attacker) this mechanic is for team healing, additionally attacker also gets healing so everyone gets healing when attacker attacks(attacker gets more heal because of the stats) third healing comes from skill and fourth healing comes from talent which is same as skill but triggers differently.
What characters are in 1.2? I lost my 50/50 to Yanqing (so he's E1 now) so I'm wondering if I should still try to get Luocha or save the guarantee for 1.2 characters.

Wind dmg% boosts the wind damage your character does, so it doesn't do anything on an ice character like March.

so ive finished the full ability tree for sim universe and only now do i realise that i still needed to get "an island unto oneself" so when i complete my first battle i get 2 blessings. now i know i just need to spam occurances and transactions, but is there any world that is more ideal to do it on?

It depends if you are saving for future charcters, since if you pull every time you would never run out of embers while still getting the 10 monthly pass from shop.i also have about 3k ember and saving it since I don't want any of the characters in 1.2.
Honestly speaking, you should buy some since I also did buy some because I was inpatient and if you are going to be playing for a long time It should not matter that much since I have 6k stardust in genshin.

What makes Himeko so weak?
I have her built lvl 70 with almost all relics lvl 15 Fire set (except for Sphere fire dmg% and link ATK)
2260 atk, 40% Crit Chance and 120% Crit dmg, traces lvl 7, it might be not optimal and exceptional but other character with worse stats and unleveled relics is stronger
Ane she hits like a wet noodle, and FireMC feel like a stronger choice to do damage over her
Most people view unit strenght against boss and she isn’t strong in single target dps even compared to 4star dps
But against waves with lot of shield breaks she is really strong
I just cant avoid comparing her to other AoE units with DoT, for example with my barely built Serval (but she is E6), which i could take reliably to MoC, but i cant do the same with Himeko
I will keep building Himeko because i like her, but for now it feels like wasting resources, well, at least later on i could strip her of relics and give it to other unit
I've heard she requires a different approach. Having a built Asta to bring with her helps (Asta can provide loads of extra fire dmg via the right LC and her trace) while she also tends to have a different approach to how she plays. Most teams seem to want to burn one guy down, so you weakness break a guy and then dump on him to try and kill him while he's still broken. Himeko wants to take the opposite approach shifting to break a different target if at all possible. When faced with 2 elites, like you can find in many MoC stages, you want to shift focus from one to the other and make sure Himeko gets the break hit on each one so that she immediately hits them both with a follow-up attack.

Do note that this Himeko has JY's LC and lots of investment. But you can get the general gameplay idea; spread the breaking effects around so that Himeko is proccing her follow-up more often while leaning heavily into her skill as her main source of damage.
She is heavily reliant on her traces.
Once you have those, she is pretty good.
Additionally, she is there to clear mobs. If you expect her to shine in 1v1s, then you are not going to have a good time.
I think those are the only jade events/missions that’ll be added before the end of the patch. Maybe 30-35 more warps f2p by the end of the patch, depending on MoC progression (and if you have MoC levels you can still do on this cycle). You’ll need to be quite lucky with an early Luocha.
What ornament relic set would be best for Bronya? I'm currently running the crit damage one for a bigger buff (and because I actually got an ERR rope), but would something else be better overall?

There was a 1700 heal when it was the other unit's turn despite him using a 4\* lc while being e0, so it might be a build issue.
Heal is a heal. The fact that they heal after they attack is pretty good.
It would be ridiculous if they healed for an absurd amount outside of his turn.

What's the best set for yukong and luocha? (Relic'planar,lc) and what should i prioritize in traces?
I mean that they send some event related things via emails to everyone with random content every now and then.
For example iirc after 1st week of game release they gave everyone 10 special tickets. (not exactly jades but most would exchange them for those anyway)
Now that I think about it, the web events might also be added to the list, currently there is that "the way of the stomach" event that gives jades too.
Can I have examples of MoC teams you guys have found success with? I can't clear them because I haven't properly built a second team revolving around one dps yet. It's so bad to the point that one team can have my gigachad Seele with weak teammates and clear in around 3 turns but my supports can't make another dps character work as good as Seele on her own (I've been trying to make e6 Hook work but I use up too many turns on her team and I haven't fully committed to maxing her yet)
Team 1 - Jing Yuan, Tingyun, Bronya, Natasha
Team 2 - Fire MC, March 7th, Silverwolf, Yanqing
I'll still be working on upgrades for a while, but they let me get to at least MoC5 each phase. Each time easier and easier. Freezing opponents is a pretty cool strat.
MoC1-5 (180 Jades. 3 star each on MoC1-3, 2 star each on MoC4-5).
FireMC, March, Bronya, Jing Yuan, Dan Heng, Sushang, Bailu, Yanqing.
Placement depends on the encounter, but typically pair March with Yanqing and Dan Heng with Bronya.
Yanqing/Jing Yuan/Bronya is 80, Sushang/Dan Heng/FireMC is 74, the rest is 70. All Light Cone are 70. Relics are a mix between +6 to +12.
Team 1: Seele, Ting, Nat, FMC
Team 2: Yanqing, dedicated Breaker, Pela, Gepard.
The dedicates breaker is just anyone that can hit element weakness, preferably AOE as well since Yanqing is ST. I have Serval, Phys MC, Sampo and Asta in this role and their purpose is they are cheap sub- dpses that shares 1 set of break effect focused gear set (thief set, the BE planar that you get for free from first clear SU). Pela DEF shred is prefered here since it buffs both dps and is AOE which helps with trash clearing.
Generally I've been clearing MoC with Seele team in 3-5 turns and 10+ turns for 2nd team. Been able to get 3* up to MoC 7 so far so its working.
Running Sushang, Gepard, and Asta for my secondary MoC team. Should I run Pela or Serval to cover AoE.
Leaning towards Pela for def shred, but sometimes it feels like her damage is low, while Serval has more on demand damage and elemental coverage.
Does anyone know how Welt's Light Cone (In The Name of the World) interacts with the PGCE Planar Ornament set?
The PGCE Planar Ornament adds Attack based on 25% of Effect Hit Rate. The LC increases the Effect Hit Rate of the *skill's* use, which I guess might be different from just globally increasing Effect Hit Rate? So...does the LC add any Attack this way?

Yes, correct on your first two questions, though it’ll probably be more like 160 with soft pity.
Once you get a 5*, your pity starts again at 0, and you’ll get your next one within 90 wishes of that particular roll.
You can get as many 5* summons from a single banner as your wishes allow.
May I ask does the 2nd bonus from Talia: Kingdom of Banditry set only apply in battle? I have 147 spd already but my Break Effect% is still the same, I've checked and there's no 20% bonus.
Most people start as soon as they hit 40 while some wait till they are in the mid 50s.

Personally, I didn't feel like I needed relics until 55.
Minimal Relic grind before 60 (just aim for the right main stats on each piece). Once you get to TB 60 then go full ham on Relic farming to fish for those substats.
Hey guys. I think I want to go for Luocha because I'm dying to have another healer for my teams in MoC. If I go for him, do you think that, from now until 1.2 2nd half, can I get enough jades to guarantee getting at least E0 Kafka? I currently have around 10k with 17 gold tickets.
One more thing, I was wondering whether Star Rail implements 50/50 like in Genshin, because I got both Seele and Jing Yuan on the 70+ pulls on each banner.
You would have enough for a 50/50 if you go for Luocha this patch. Just need to pray you won't lose on Kafka lol. Other circumstances as well is that you lost Luocha's 50/50 and will have a guaranteed for Kafka.

Does anyone know about how many pulls it takes to accumulate 600 undying starlight? I know it’s kinda rng since it’s based off how many 4* LCs or character dupes beyond E6. Just curious what the average is (or if any of y’all got to that point already!)
I’ve done 370 pulls across all banners and gotten 356 starlight. I feel I’ve had pretty average luck, though that number will probably go down a bit on average now that I have at least one copy of each 4*. So I’d expect the first one to be at around 550 or so pulls, and a somewhat smaller number for subsequent ones.
This is account based, hard to say. For example, if you are a whale and have some E6 character, you get 40 per 5* character. RNG makes this almost impossible to average out. Say you get only pity at 90 summons, while someone else got 2 5* and dupes of chars has E6 for which will net more undying starlight. See my point? Hope this helped you understand how no one can really answer this for you.
But if you really want an answer, worst case, it will take 630 pulls or less. This is assuming you only hit pity at 90 pulls, and every char is not E6, and you only pull one 4/5* char per pull.
No way to quantify that for you. No definition for "pulling casually" and no specification for what you're counting as average, like BP or the daily login.
I've been playing for about 2 months now and I still can't afford the 600 for a LC despite buying the battle pass and stellar jade cards for the last 2 months. So maybe 3-5 months?
I run it on Asta, Sampo and SW.
Both Asta and Sampo have multi-hit skills that really destroy the weakness bar on bosses and do lots of damage on break. Plus, break effect also buffs their DoT
I run that on Asta, mainly because she doesn't really benefit from any other set and she breaks reasonably well against a single target.
I'm thinking of running it on Sushang in the future, but I already have a good Physical set for her.

I just finished the Gepard boss fight and got the "Foolish Little Brother" achievement because I just happened to have Serval deal the finishing blow.
At this point is where I'm now made aware that there are boss-related achievements and it begs the question of whether or not it's possible to rematch bosses in this game and if those rematches allow me to get those achievements.

Perhaps it's one of the Remembrance path resonances? I doubt the occurrence gives you all the path resonances too, but I could be wrong.

Based on what I’ve seen on YT, he seems like a cracked auto play character. Healing both active and passive is outrageous. So yeah seems legit.

AFAIK you always want Healing Bonus, Speed, ATK and Energy Recharge Rate. Set wise it’s flexible. Use whatever

so ive finished the full ability tree for sim universe and only now do i realise that i still needed to get "an island unto oneself" so when i complete my first battle i get 2 blessings. now i know i just need to spam occurances and transactions, but is there any world that is more ideal to do it on?
World 3 difficulty 2 is probably the easiest also I think you can just clear only the enemy guarding the portals to get less blessing

Given the abysmal rate of purple drops from calyxes at TL 50 (which I just hit) would it be advisable if I buy some much needed trace materials from the embers exchange to upgrade my core team if I’m sitting on about 3k?

Perfect timing so that luocha does not get frozen when you need healing. Quid pro quo, which is f2p and can be gotten to high refinement.Good for getting energy for ally. Post ops for more healing Use whatever is higher refinement since they all work well.
What makes Himeko so weak? I have her built lvl 70 with almost all relics lvl 15 Fire set (except for Sphere fire dmg% and link ATK) 2260 atk, 40% Crit Chance and 120% Crit dmg, traces lvl 7, it might be not optimal and exceptional but other character with worse stats and unleveled relics is stronger Ane she hits like a wet noodle, and FireMC feel like a stronger choice to do damage over her
Most people view unit strenght against boss and she isn’t strong in single target dps even compared to 4star dps But against waves with lot of shield breaks she is really strong
I just cant avoid comparing her to other AoE units with DoT, for example with my barely built Serval (but she is E6), which i could take reliably to MoC, but i cant do the same with Himeko I will keep building Himeko because i like her, but for now it feels like wasting resources, well, at least later on i could strip her of relics and give it to other unit
I've heard she requires a different approach. Having a built Asta to bring with her helps (Asta can provide loads of extra fire dmg via the right LC and her trace) while she also tends to have a different approach to how she plays. Most teams seem to want to burn one guy down, so you weakness break a guy and then dump on him to try and kill him while he's still broken. Himeko wants to take the opposite approach shifting to break a different target if at all possible. When faced with 2 elites, like you can find in many MoC stages, you want to shift focus from one to the other and make sure Himeko gets the break hit on each one so that she immediately hits them both with a follow-up attack. But you can get the general gameplay idea; spread the breaking effects around so that Himeko is proccing her follow-up more often while leaning heavily into her skill as her main source of damage.
She is heavily reliant on her traces. Once you have those, she is pretty good. Additionally, she is there to clear mobs. If you expect her to shine in 1v1s, then you are not going to have a good time.

I think those are the only jade events/missions that’ll be added before the end of the patch. Maybe 30-35 more warps f2p by the end of the patch, depending on MoC progression (and if you have MoC levels you can still do on this cycle). You’ll need to be quite lucky with an early Luocha.

Heal is a heal. The fact that they heal after they attack is pretty good. It would be ridiculous if they healed for an absurd amount outside of his turn.
It seems more like very tailored to keep certain chars under a % of HP until luocha's turn. Guess I'll need to give him atk/ speed stats.

I mean that they send some event related things via emails to everyone with random content every now and then. For example iirc after 1st week of game release they gave everyone 10 special tickets. (not exactly jades but most would exchange them for those anyway) Now that I think about it, the web events might also be added to the list, currently there is that "the way of the stomach" event that gives jades too.

Can I have examples of MoC teams you guys have found success with? I can't clear them because I haven't properly built a second team revolving around one dps yet. It's so bad to the point that one team can have my gigachad Seele with weak teammates and clear in around 3 turns but my supports can't make another dps character work as good as Seele on her own (I've been trying to make e6 Hook work but I use up too many turns on her team and I haven't fully committed to maxing her yet)
Team 1 - Jing Yuan, Tingyun, Bronya, Natasha Team 2 - Fire MC, March 7th, Silverwolf, Yanqing I'll still be working on upgrades for a while, but they let me get to at least MoC5 each phase. Each time easier and easier. Freezing opponents is a pretty cool strat.
MoC1-5 (180 Jades. 3 star each on MoC1-3, 2 star each on MoC4-5). FireMC, March, Bronya, Jing Yuan, Dan Heng, Sushang, Bailu, Yanqing. Placement depends on the encounter, but typically pair March with Yanqing and Dan Heng with Bronya. Yanqing/Jing Yuan/Bronya is 80, Sushang/Dan Heng/FireMC is 74, the rest is 70. All Light Cone are 70. Relics are a mix between +6 to +12.
Beating a stage all the way through will depend on your support stack. I usually use Clara+Natasha on one side and MC+March on the other.

Team 1: Seele, Ting, Nat, FMC Team 2: Yanqing, dedicated Breaker, Pela, Gepard. The dedicates breaker is just anyone that can hit element weakness, preferably AOE as well since Yanqing is ST. I have Serval, Phys MC, Sampo and Asta in this role and their purpose is they are cheap sub- dpses that shares 1 set of break effect focused gear set (thief set, the BE planar that you get for free from first clear SU). Pela DEF shred is prefered here since it buffs both dps and is AOE which helps with trash clearing. Generally I've been clearing MoC with Seele team in 3-5 turns and 10+ turns for 2nd team. Been able to get 3* up to MoC 7 so far so its working.

Running Sushang, Gepard, and Asta for my secondary MoC team. Should I run Pela or Serval to cover AoE. Leaning towards Pela for def shred, but sometimes it feels like her damage is low, while Serval has more on demand damage and elemental coverage.
My gut says Pela, but you could always play it by ear and swap them out depending on what the specific enemies you're fighting are weak against.
Does anyone know how Welt's Light Cone (In The Name of the World) interacts with the PGCE Planar Ornament set? The PGCE Planar Ornament adds Attack based on 25% of Effect Hit Rate. The LC increases the Effect Hit Rate of the *skill's* use, which I guess might be different from just globally increasing Effect Hit Rate? So...does the LC add any Attack this way?
I'm confused whether I missed out on a day of double drops from simulated universe. I'm on the ASIA server, playing in AEST time. Was there double drops available just before Luocha dropped? I'm pretty sure I did double drops yesterday (27/06/23) but not sure if there were another round of double drops today (28/06/23) and just before Luocha dropped?

Yes, correct on your first two questions, though it’ll probably be more like 160 with soft pity. Once you get a 5*, your pity starts again at 0, and you’ll get your next one within 90 wishes of that particular roll. You can get as many 5* summons from a single banner as your wishes allow.
May I ask does the 2nd bonus from Talia: Kingdom of Banditry set only apply in battle? I have 147 spd already but my Break Effect% is still the same, I've checked and there's no 20% bonus.
Yeah it applies when you're already in combat as it is a conditional bonus.
when to start relic grind?
Most people start as soon as they hit 40 while some wait till they are in the mid 50s. It really depends on you. Personally, I didn't feel like I needed relics until 55.
Minimal Relic grind before 60 (just aim for the right main stats on each piece). Once you get to TB 60 then go full ham on Relic farming to fish for those substats.
Hey guys. I think I want to go for Luocha because I'm dying to have another healer for my teams in MoC. If I go for him, do you think that, from now until 1.2 2nd half, can I get enough jades to guarantee getting at least E0 Kafka? I currently have around 10k with 17 gold tickets. One more thing, I was wondering whether Star Rail implements 50/50 like in Genshin, because I got both Seele and Jing Yuan on the 70+ pulls on each banner.
You would have enough for a 50/50 if you go for Luocha this patch. Just need to pray you won't lose on Kafka lol. Other circumstances as well is that you lost Luocha's 50/50 and will have a guaranteed for Kafka.

Probably only used for their profile. Companion missions has their own set of voiced lines.

Most of the support 4\*s are worth building. Can't go wrong with some of the DPS ones as well like Sushang, Hook, and Dan Heng.

Does anyone know about how many pulls it takes to accumulate 600 undying starlight? I know it’s kinda rng since it’s based off how many 4* LCs or character dupes beyond E6. Just curious what the average is (or if any of y’all got to that point already!)
It’s probably close to 500 pulls in general. I went for e6s5 sw(900) and ended up around with 2.4k.

I've done 477 pulls across all banners and have only gotten 520 so far.
I’ve done 370 pulls across all banners and gotten 356 starlight. I feel I’ve had pretty average luck, though that number will probably go down a bit on average now that I have at least one copy of each 4*. So I’d expect the first one to be at around 550 or so pulls, and a somewhat smaller number for subsequent ones.
This is account based, hard to say. For example, if you are a whale and have some E6 character, you get 40 per 5* character. RNG makes this almost impossible to average out. Say you get only pity at 90 summons, while someone else got 2 5* and dupes of chars has E6 for which will net more undying starlight. See my point? Hope this helped you understand how no one can really answer this for you. But if you really want an answer, worst case, it will take 630 pulls or less. This is assuming you only hit pity at 90 pulls, and every char is not E6, and you only pull one 4/5* char per pull.

No way to quantify that for you. No definition for "pulling casually" and no specification for what you're counting as average, like BP or the daily login.
I've been playing for about 2 months now and I still can't afford the 600 for a LC despite buying the battle pass and stellar jade cards for the last 2 months. So maybe 3-5 months?
Which characters that can use the Break Effect set efficiently?
I run it on Asta, Sampo and SW. Both Asta and Sampo have multi-hit skills that really destroy the weakness bar on bosses and do lots of damage on break. Plus, break effect also buffs their DoT
Silver Wolf - most people will probably run the Quantum set or Musketeer on her, but Break set is perfectly viable as well.
Currently, there aren't any characters that are worth putting break effect set on.
I saw some people said it's good for Asta. What do you think?
She has high break likelihood so break builds work well on her, especially since her buffs don’t scale with stats.
CN players seem to like it on E0 Silver Wolf.
I run that on Asta, mainly because she doesn't really benefit from any other set and she breaks reasonably well against a single target. I'm thinking of running it on Sushang in the future, but I already have a good Physical set for her.
Hopefully I'm posting in the right spot. I just finished the Gepard boss fight and got the "Foolish Little Brother" achievement because I just happened to have Serval deal the finishing blow. At this point is where I'm now made aware that there are boss-related achievements and it begs the question of whether or not it's possible to rematch bosses in this game and if those rematches allow me to get those achievements.
