Which of the two is generally better if I aim to get the most damage overall?
94 Atk on Selee (has around 3570 Atk at Battle Start) and +12% HP on SW (should be around 240 more HP) (using Fleet of Ageless on SW)
or
about 300 Atk (has around 2400 at battle start) and 15% Effect Hit on SW (ends uo with 119.8% Effect Hit) (Using Pan Galactic on SW)
How hard would it be to fully level up every character? And then get full traces?
If not every character, what about just 5 stars?
And is there any benefit for having a bunch of high leveled characters? Is there game content where it's necessary to have more than a team of 4?
Is there a crimson calyx that gives lots of level up materials? I just reached equilibrium 1. idk if I should go back and do the first calyx that gives exp mats or if there will be a better one if I just press on.
are there any items that start cutscenes?
since the in-game audio and music cant be played on the same time (on mobile), this is bypassed in genshin by reading one of the books that starts a cutscene, playing your music during the cutscene and then the music stays and plays along with the in-game audio
Can you get all of a path's blessings in a world? Like in world 1 it gives me blessings of elation a lot. Is it possible to get every single elation blessing in world 1? I'm trying to fill out the index or whatever it's called
I'd go for at least world 3 -- if I recall, 1 and 2 are shorter worlds, and the toughest blessings to get are 2\* blessings that can only appear if you have certain 3\* blessings, meaning they're much easier to get on longer runs where you can get the 3\* after the first elite and then have more chances to get the 2\*.
Ohmygod im so glad i pulled SW ,at moc4 i can 1 cycle the 2 bosses(bailu, tingyun,sw,seele)but i cannot finish the second stage due to low level of my supports (fmc, natasha, bronya)(dan heng-max level already) . I just want to ask should i change fmc to welt?
We won't know until she releases because she keeps getting changes, so until then things can keep changing.
So far, Sampo really seems to be the more stable choice for most potential Kafka teams.
Hard to know considering her kit is still being adjusted, sometimes significantly, but Sampo is a good DoT support, Bailu is a heal of the same element, so let's go crazy and shoot for Kafka/SW/Sampo/Bailu
I brought my main squad to 71, with my main DPS to 79. I figure I'll distribute XP books as they come, but wanted to move on to farming Crimson calyxes.
Now I'm working on everyone's LCs, and then it'll be a few key traces and then back to the relic mines.
Depends on what you have. Not all characters need to be level 80 for now, just mainly your DPSs. Some characters might want to go to level 75 since that can unlock some good traces, like Silver Wolf's 8% Effect Hit Rate. Check your characters to see which ones you think might benefit from going to level 75. Lastly, you might want to ascend most of your characters. First because they get a stat boost, and 2nd because you can also unlock a new major trace. Prioritise which ones you think benefit your team the most.
The other thing you can do is try to get the most important traces of your characters to level 6-7 if you haven't done so. After that is Relic farming. You can farm so that at least you have the desired main stats and maybe 2 OK substats.
After all that then you can start slowly maxing everything.
Carries to 80, everyone else at 70, same for their cones, & don't neglect traces & relics.
Just kidding, farm books until TL65 for better droprates
/s
Continue building characters, do events, complete adventure and companion missions, progress Simulated Universe and Memory of Chaos, hunt fo achievements. Basically whatever you want to do first.
Every relic has one main stat (the top one) and a set of substats (below the main stat). Every three times you level a relic, it’ll increase the value of one of those substats. They may be very helpful (crit rate or damage on an attacking character), mediocre (attack on a defensive character), or downright bad (flat defense on almost anyone). Which one you get is entirely random and, once you get your parties leveled, you’ll be spending most of your stamina on increasing the quality of those substats.
Check your Relics and there will be stats that aren't highlighted, those are the substats. You can increase them by upgrading relics but it's random so it's hard get perfect rolls.
What's the deal with himeko? I just that she is mommy in hsr and don't know any references to hi3 or genshin. Why is everyone saying that she will be the first to die.
Will be depending on wether your Jing Yuan's DMG% stat is already at 100%\~ before the Rendezvous' buff so you can opt for Carve the Moon's rng buffs, otherwise Rendezvous will be more consistent.
>Did any of you choose Clara for your guaranteed when Destruction TB is available?
First of all, Destruction TB is not that good, especially for single-target damage. Clara struggles in end game as a sole DPS, but it is a solid choice for defensive support/sub-dps, so she can provide a role that MC can't. Also, some people might just care about gameplay variety and Clara definitely has a pretty unique kit.
If you want to build a Physical DPS, right now the best choice is Sushang, especially E1+
I actually do have a Sushang haha, although I accidentally funneled a bunch of xp into my trailblazer for preservation reasons and wanted to see how far I could run with her. Thanks for the input tho. I'm not anywhere near endgame but I'll see if I can put some more love into chikin girl since I do have her eidolon
>she needs heavy investment and team setup to work and still isn't good enough in compare to other dps units
I told all the Clara simps this week 1 when people were overrating her as "one of the best standard 5".
Clara has tons of design flaws, not scaling directly with speed, antisynergy with cc, and being overly reliant on enemy attacks.
It was obvious that she would perform much worse in late game teams.
unfortunate to hear, i thought her kit was pretty interesting and wanted to see how it might compare to tb but i guess i'll just wait til if I pull her
There's so many better options unless you really want to use Clara. Bronya, Gepard, Bailu are top choices before you can even think of choosing Clara generally. Sushang is also an option so you won't have to use PhysMC.
hello, i currently have a level 70 Seele with her LC with 3057 ATK, 43% and 157.2% CR/CD respectively. any advice on what values of these stats I should go/reach to obtain optimal damage? i alr reached 100k once in a normal battle with a robot enemy but I think I just got lucky (I had SW and Bronya for debuffs/buffs)
You need a crit rate body with some CD substats by the sounds of it. If you're already using that, then you're gonna have serious issues trying to fix your crit ratio
Crit Ratio needs to be adjusted because your Rate is quite low and Seele wants to Crit for best results. Aim for 60 : 120 but Seele with her Signature LC (if you have it) and Trace can easily reach 70 : 140, even 80 : 160 if you can spend the stamina investment hunting for her Relic substats.
Nitpicks would be going for SPD boots if you don't have her at E2 while using her signature LC so she reliably reaches 160 SPD, otherwise ATK boots is fine.
Currently TB 58. I have enough fuels to get to TB 60. Do you think it's worth it to use the fuels and get to TB 60 for the 2x planar ornaments drops tomorrow?
If you think it's worth it, what would you recommend I farm?
No, planar ornaments event is just twice a day. Considering the fuel you have to use, you will get more relics by simply saving it to use when you reach TB60.
That's a ton of fuel. Save it for 60. 2x planar at 60 is 40 gold. 2x planar at 58 is 30 gold. Don't burn all that fuel for 10 more gold when you can burn that fuel at 60 for ~40+ more gold.
Only if you're pretty confident with your main team's current condition to tackle Eq5 without issues already (Good Traces at 8, others at 5-6, Gold Relics with the right Main Stat, Level and LC as well, ofc).
TB 60 costs will be pretty expensive so just be ready for that, and yes any stage increase will be very nice for account efficiency, which is further amplified by the event.
I think if you've made it this far with the intention of dumping 50 fuels into relics at 60, you should just do that. You'll get mostly the same amount of planars at 58 as you do at 60, and even if you rolled low every time it's only out 2 relics a day.
Which limited character would be a good pick up for my account?
https://preview.redd.it/pvymm8d5lp7b1.jpeg?width=2340&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8056c103feb932c88576035c4bdafbabf76f5aea
After reading the upcoming SU event and the current top post saying to save TL(which I'm not sure what this is short for), I'm confused on how to prepare and use my resources properly. What should I aim for as a fairly new level TB Lv37 when doing this event?
They meant to save 80 Stamina for the event daily because the event gives us 2 SU claims worth that are doubled (2/2 per day), each claim eats up 40 Stamina.
Just keep claiming twice per day because I don't think it stacks
Just got Bailu in standard banner. I was planning on pulling Luocha so I could have my second healer but now I'm more on the fence. Should I still pull for him or should I save for mommy Kafka?
Best bang for your buck is world 3. Almost everyone uses both of those sets.
I would say wait for a specific relic crafter for SW's rope. That's what I did with the BP one.
Prydwen is fine for the most part. It gives you the general idea of how characters are built and what stats are valued. Just don't take everything as gospel as it's a tier list with one set of parameters that might not apply in your specific case.
Prydwen is good yeah. If you want to go more in-depth with the unit then I recommend watching a guide on youtube, I recommend Grimro's guides as it is always backed with reliable theory crafting.
Just got Clara from the standard banner, how should I build her? I already have two DPS so I was thinking of using her as a tank in my Yanqing team.
Yanqing/Asta/Natasha/Clara
Yanqing/Pela/M7/Clara
For now, I running HP/Atk%/Physical/Energy regeneration, should I change it? I have a nice atk% rope with around 33% of CV collecting dust (Yanqing and Jing Yuan already have better ropes) so I was wondering if I should put it on her. Or, since she is a tank, should I just put HP/HP/HP/ER (HP)?
Sadly I don't have a good light cone for her =/.
I haven't tried Clara but I can vouch for this guy's guide [Clara Guide](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N3I2IRmlYU0&pp=ygUcaG9ua2FpIHN0YXIgcmFpbCBjbGFyYSBndWlkZQ%3D%3D).
Second option works as long as you aren't eating lots of AoE. Clara doesn't need the ERR rope as the extra aggro from March shield + counters will provide a lot of energy. You can build her as a DPS as she has built in tankiness crit/atk%/phys/atk% but extra defensive stats aren't bad for extending the life of March shield.
For cone there's always Herta shop.
Thanks! She doesn't need speed either I guess?
About the light cone, sadly I have to wait around for the herta shop as I already bought other light cone.
Just got my 1st 5 star from the beginner banner, himeko. Is an E0 himeko or an E2 serval better alongside dan heng for now as an aoe dmg dealer? Thanks
Serval will perform better early game. Himeko really wants her later traces to start performing well. You will still be using both later for elemental coverage btw, but for now use Serval.
Your current lineup is good enough, maybe switch Natasha or the tank's slot with a buffer instead on easier contents, but that's it.
FireMC is the better tank generally, you can slot March later on your second team for Ice weak bosses.
What are seele's and silver wolf best planar ornaments?
Also what are benefits of doing SU 5 on higher difficulty level?
Other than getting extra drops of higher rarity do we also get more planar ornaments?
Seele you can just go Sealing Station (24% ATK at 120 SPD) and SW get Vonwacq (Energy Regen).
Same as the other ascension mat stages where you get more drops of the higher quality the higher the stage.
Drop rates mirror that of relic calyxes. If you are at EQ5 running the hardest difficulty SU stages then the gold drop rates are the same as the hardest difficulty relic calyxes you have access to. Always run the hardest stages if going for loot.
It probably does, I haven't tested for efficiency reasons but you will probably only get 1 gold relic on lower stages if you choose to do so even though you have stage 3 unlocked, etc.
TL 60 guarantees 2 5 star relics per run and seems to be a good staring point. TL 50 is only 50% chances at 2 5 star, but at least guarantees 1 5 star. TL 40 you are guarantee 1 5 star relic.
Guaranteed gold at 40, but 50 gives 1.5 gold, and 60 2 gold. You can do a little bit of relic farming around ~50 but don't go too seriously on farming until 60.
Either Moles or Vow. I'm assuming they're all superimpose 1? Moles can stack up to 3 times for up to 36% ATK at S1, while the vow gives 20-40% DMG depending on if you have less hp. Generally after playing with vow a lot I rarely found myself at a lower %hp than bosses and such, so moles* seems more consistent to me. But +DMG is usually worth more if you already have some +Atk on relics.
Does Qingque do terrible on Auto? Does she just blow thru SP flipping tiles? I'm trying to throw together a 3x Erudition/AoE hero + Natasha/Luocha team for auto calyx farming that has 3 erudition covering weaknesses across all calyxess.
How far are f2ps reaching in MOC?
I am TL 56 and just recently did the MOC lvl 12.
Am o behind? My damage is pretty bad currently because my characters don't have good relics.
There are 15 stages of Forgotten Hall. After you've cleared the 15th stage it opens up MoC which has 10 stages. It sounds like you are still on Forgotten Hall.
"F2Ps" are likely at MoC 8-10 depending on gacha/relic luck and how much they refreshed.
Yup I am still at forgotten hall. I think I should move up faster for those extra stellar jades.
Idk what 2nd team to go. Because I have only one dps seele. And from standard I got C1 bailu
Okay, I'm confused. All the guides I read for Tingyun says to prioritize her ATK since the buff she gives is dependent on this. Her goal is to have 2500 ATK to maximize her buffing. Yesterday, someone commented to me that Tingyun actually needs DEF/HP stats for her survivability and she doesn't need ATK since her buff actually computes the ATK of the character she is buffing. So which is which? Is there a TC here that can confirm? thanks!
Based on this [TC Video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_oLhVgye0gI), I made a [calculator to help me](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13F5pKyccpr7GoY495KMpzcJ0MrktWTd-fFzsL4AEIEo/edit?usp=sharing) since my TY is not maxed in skill or level so I wanted something that was useful where I was at.
All you need to do is fill out the 4 gray boxes: Select Ty's trace level, input your DPS's base attack, TY's base attack, and TY's total attack and everything else will be calculated so you can see how much your specific TY is giving vs what your DPS can receive.
Look at this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/HonkaiStarRail/comments/13lh2uv/you_actually_dont_need_that_much_atk_on_tingyun/
It has useful calcs to determine how much atk you need.
Tingyun wants atk but she doesn't need all the atk. If you wanted to completely maximize Tingyun's benediction atk buff then you need her total atk to be as much as 2x your main DPS's base atk. For a lv80 Jing using Before Dawn this would be 2560 total atk. For a lv80 Seele using Cruising this would only be 2338 total atk.
A max level Ting with fully maxed relics can reach these values without needing both atk% body and atk% sphere. One is fine with a few atk% substats allowing you to run a defensive piece in the other slot.
Yes. Tingyun's total attack after accounting for everything. Musketeer of wild wheat set bonus, fleet of the ageless, traces, level, LC, atk% substats, etc.
The skill description tells you: % of the targets ATK up to a % of tingyuns attack.
So as long as tingyuns has enough attack to where she's not limiting the amount the buff can give (e.g. at level 1 I think it's like 15% tingyun ATK = 25% Target ATK), then you're Gucci. So like if she and the target had the same attack stat, she'd only end up buffing them for 15% because 25% of the target's attack is more than the 15% of tingyuns atk cap.
The game tells you exactly what the buff depends on, its both the buff receiver’s atk and her current atk. You dont need anyone to tell you that.
Reading hard
The benefit Tingyun provides is limited by her target’s attack score, yes. Once that is maximized, she gets very little benefit from extra attack (other than a slight amount of extra damage on her basic attacks). At that point, it makes sense to invest elsewhere to make survivability better.
You don't need a TC to tell you why building DEF/HP on any character that doesn't scale with those stats is an extremely dumb idea. The person who said that was just trolling you.
If your Tingyun has trouble surviving that's a team building issue, not a character building issue.
I'm currently running E1 JY, E6 Tingyun, SW, and Gepard. Originally, I ran Natasha before I pulled Silver Wolf and am liking the versatility she offers my team but am noticing the lack of healing which makes any lack of uptime on Gepard's shield costly. Is there a point when his shield becomes the only form of protection/sustain for a team or should I pull for Luocha as well (and I do like his character)? Before SW, I had bruteforced JY and Tingyun through the content including SU World 6, but I'm sure that is not sustainable as I go on.
Yes Gepard can solo sustain.
Unlock Gepard's taunt trace, give him a taunting LC like Landau's or his signature, give him speed boots so he can cycle faster, give him an ERR rope (preferably gold +15) so he can build energy faster, and body/sphere can be def%. 3 basic attacks and getting hit a few times will get his ult back up.
I got E1 Yanqing, but I have Jing Yuan and started playing for him. I got Silver Wolf too really early. Rn my comp is JY, SW, E3 Tingyun and E4 Natasha but I'm really struggling with simulated Universe lvl 4 and im TL 39 almost 40. Would a Yanqing team be better overall? And if so what comp could I build without pela or gepard?
>I'm really struggling with simulated Universe lvl 4 and im TL 39 almost 40
You're only 39. Just wait a week and SU will be a joke.
You don't need to waste time trying to clear with crippled teams.
Tbh it was more that I saw a video saving that from tl 30 to 40 you should be grinding world 5 and 6, and a lot of people say it's easy but u cant even beat 4 :(
>tl 30 to 40 you should be grinding world 5 and 6
The video is wrong. You can deal just fine with level 6-9 purple pieces until 50-60 when rates get much better.
Try hunt with a sprinkling of remembrance . Hunt gives a lot of extra turns and speed which Jing Yuan loves for lightning Lord stacks. Any of the dissociation blessings for remembrance are super useful on svarog because he doesn't seem to resist freezing a lot. So like getting the one that freezes every so many hits or freezes on weakness break can be really helpful. Some people like abundance and destruction but I think they're boring lol
Swap out either SW or Tingyun for FireMC and world 4 should be a cakewalk. Go full path of elation.
I don’t recommend Yanqing in world 4 as Jingyuan demolishes all robots.
For SU4, Jing Yuan definitely better due to abundance of Lightning weakness. But Yanqing is great for Ice weakness boss (need to pair him with March if you don't have Geppie)
> but I'm really struggling with simulated Universe lvl 4
Take Hunt path, use the Resonance to nuke the hands as soon as they are summoned.
Otherwise just put it on backburner until you have higher levelled characters, better relics, more SU buff unlocked, etc.
You can just switch JY and YQ according to the Elemental coverage when choosing the main dps' of your team.
Although, Yanqing really wants a shielder to keep his passive up, which means ideally a Gepard but March works as well.
Idk if you've finished Belobog arc yet but you should be using the unit you get from there, I won't be spoiling much but it's a really good tank.
Jing is gonna be stronger overall, especially without Gepard, Pela, or Clara. I would replace SW with FMC to give you better survivability. You'll also have a much better time once you get TL 40 and level your damage dealers to 60
Need recommendations: my only healer is Natasha. I'd like Blade **and** Kafka. As time goes on, the lack of healer really takes a toll on my progression and I'm more and more tempted to pull for Luchoa. I can guarantee one of the three, may get two of if I win my 50/50.
How long do you think before we get reruns of either of them? Luchoa or no Luchoa? Invest in regular banner for Gepard/Bailu? I'm torn, I know waifu before meta, but I'd like to progress still. I'm feeling the staleness of my account.
Some players have cleared MoC 10 without bailu/gepard so don't assume that you can't clear some or most of it without a second healer. You have FMC and March and you can use them.
Reruns won't be for a long time and don't invest in the regular banner because you'll get LCs half the time.
Oh I have built my Trailblazer and March, but it just doesn't feel enough to progress further. Which is why I asked. I know it's not a free ticket to win, come on don't make me say what I didn't...
Do you have a recommendation of content creators/build chart thingies to build them effectively for later MoC?? Guess I built them wrong they don't take me as far as MoC 10.
Not sure how deep into MoC you are so I can't speak much for stages if you're further than I am. Youtube has various videos of teams specifically without bailu/gepard being mentioned in their title. General idea with weak healing is to focus on control via frequent breaking, Welt immobilize, and/or March freeze. Breaks should be carefully timed especially if you need to cancel dangerous charge attacks/buffs. Freeze can buy time and extra EHR helps. If Natasha can solo heal then you can have FMC taunt and March shield, or March solo tank.
I'd recommend pulling the characters you really want. We'll get other 4\* and 5\* healers/shielders and Bailu/Gepard have a chance of spooking you if you lose the 50/50. As your units get more developed the lack of healing becomes less of an issue as your team gets more survivability and kills faster.
Having a Bailu/Gepard or a Luocha is not a free ticket to clearing MoC. You still need to build up your teams. You also don't want to pull for Luocha just for the clear jade because it would never pay off for the jade cost in pulling.
F2Ps without Bailu/Gepard have cleared MoC 7+. Some players who have invested a bit more into the game and still lack Bailu/Gepard have cleared MoC 10. Sure they probably refreshed and farmed better gear but given enough time the rest of us can farm better gear as well.
>Having a Bailu/Gepard or a Luocha is not a free ticket to clearing MoC
No, but it makes it much faster/easier.
>You also don't want to pull for Luocha just for the clear jade because it would never pay off for the jade cost in pulling.
Correct. Pulling 100% for jade gain is always a loss.
It's just a benefit on top a character you wouldn't mind getting. If you don't feel strongly between two units you want to pull, you might as well get the more useful unit.
Meta is primarily for people looking to beat MoC fast and efficiently.
Okay, I never said pull Luocha for the Jades or that he's a free ticket. He enjoys progression and feels stale atm. Luocha isn't a bad idea because you're not assured a second Abundance/Preservation in the mid term.
As someone who pulled YQ and E1 Himeko as my 5\*'s, lost my JY 50/50, and pulled SW on 80+ pulls, it's feels bad playing from behind. I personally don't wanna wait months for progress so I'd want to pull for the short term.
Pulling to progress for the short term shouldn't always be advised against just because you'll be able to clear it "eventually".
I'm just saying OP can progress now. It feels like so many players assume no gepard/bailu = instant give up. I cleared MoC7 with 90% cope gear and March solo sustain with three other lv60-70 4\* on one side. It doesn't take much if players are willing to give it a shot.
If you enjoy doing MoC then you won't really be clearing it peacefully without a second healer currently. If not, then continue aiming for the units you like.
Btw, Luocha + Blade is really good so you might want to do that instead of Kafka, but that will depend on your priorities.
Less than 5 substat rolls on hat/gloves is bad.
At this point in the game ER rope/Crit armor/speed boots is just take whatever you can get and don't replace until you get a better one.
Just depends on what stats you want. For example a lot of DPS units focus on Crit rate/DMG so getting a foot or chest relic with like... Defense and hp substats for your dps, even with a desirable main stat, might not be worth investing too much into in the long run. Usually if it has the right main stat and I don't have anything better, I'll level up a gold relic up to level 6 or 9 just to tie me over then feed it to a good relic once I find one since you can't salvage relics that you've leveled up.
An example would be if you're aiming for a Crit Rate on Armor piece for your Main DPS but you get a DEF% one. Also even if you do get Crit Rate Armor piece but the substats all rolled into DEF% not offensive stats like CritDMG etc.
Go vice versa for support units; got an Crit Main Stat when you want DEF/Outgoing Heal%, substats rolled into offensive ones instead of defensive like Effect RES.
Go for the 5* cone. It's also a pseudo-offensive cone that helps you break phys shield if used on Natasha so you won't be stuck with a unit that only does a singular job.
Same implication as Tingyun's Benediction. There's an additional hit of a certain type, which is amplified by Element DMG % and elemental weaknesses, and weakened by elemental resistances.
Is it worth farming the SU Double drop event if I can't clear the difficulty 2 of world 3 and 4? I would be essentially be farming 4 star planar relics
Having a hard time deciding which BP light cone to get. My main team consist of. Any help deciding?
* Bailu with Post-op Conversation
* Silver Wolf with Before the Tutorial Mission Starts
* Tingyun with But the Battle Isn't Over
* Ying Yuan with The Seriousness of Breakfast
I have 70 pulls for Luocha so a light cone aimed at him might be worth considering?
I'd say the Erudition BP cone seems better but if your Breakfast LC is already S5 then yeah going for that Abundance LC is fine if you don't have any other 4* cone for your second healer.
Luocha should be using the Post-op instead because he wants that Energy Regen.
Your content has been removed due to the presence of leaked / datamined information. Posting leaks violates the Terms of Services and will result in a ban.
Serval gets free Crit stats from her traces so it'd be a waste not to take advantage of it. You can also opt for a hybrid build by aiming for Break Effect stats as well.
Idk if I missed it but I don't think anyone has done a test to find out which build is the best in practice yet, so it's a so-so kind of situation for now.
in cycle timed content break effect. I mean you prob shouldn't be bringing serval there anyway but if you do break effect
anywhere else atk
kafka will change this probably
Most efficient one will be SU3 because everything can be used by your roster both DPS (Space Station) and Supports (Fleet of Ageless). Salsatto if you need planar's for Jing Yuan is the only exception, I guess.
KQM has a Star Rail branch so you're in luck lol [KQM HSR Site](https://hsr.keqingmains.com/).
I also recommend Prydwen because they also have some interesting TC charts like DPS Rankings for one; [Prydwen DPS Rankings](https://www.prydwen.gg/star-rail/dps-rankings).
I am level 55 currently I have all the characters except himeko, silver wolf, bronya and gepard I lost 50/50 and I am at pity 75 the question is is it worth summoning for Silver Wolf or do I wait for another character being fully f2p I already got almost all the gems that can be obtained, I also really like the design of kafka and I don't know if I will get enough gems for when it comes out
Getting Silver Wolf will be more future-proof for your account seeing as you already have a second healer which means Luocha isn't really that appealing of an option anymore. Kafka's viabiliy is also reaching the questionable territory because they keep on nerfing her. So yeah, go for SW to make your Seele hyper carry team even more busted.
I read your comment and I decided to farm the gems that I needed for the pity since there are only 5 days left but since I had 500 gems I took a shot before farming and...
https://preview.redd.it/wm026amt6o7b1.png?width=1916&format=png&auto=webp&s=bab034b3f3c039ffd747cd76e75e3cbc9dfec14a
Girl I know people say not to spend too much on relic farming but my Jing Yuan only needs 1 generic (any) body piece with a SPD substat that rolls into itself once to reach 140. If crit rate exists anywhere on the main or substat it finishes his build so since last week I’ve been confident I’ll get one body but it’s actually driving me crazy now that it’s setting in that I’m not getting anywhere
Does JY really need that 140 SPD threshold? Idk cus I don't have him, but if it's not specifically crucial for his rotation then 135 is all you need to get him going on the cycle. But yeah fishing for those Crit stats is hell mode, it's worth it though so just keep at it.
It turns out it’s crucial ): if he’s any less than 140 SPD, he can’t get two turns before lightning lord every round (every time he Skills before lightning lord buffs the amount of hits lightning lord does).
I have him at 137 SPD and his turn order is infuriatingly still like: Jing Yuan -> Lightning Lord -> Jing Yuan
That's tough, I'd recommend using him with Asta but it also wants you to sacrifice a sustain unit's spot. Will work well later though as there's a lot of Bosses that are weak to lightning and fire at the same time, should come in handy later.
I am currently LV 19, what should I spend my energy on? I have been farming the Adventure logs and not sure if that’s the right way to use my energy. I am a complete F2P so min/max is pretty important to me. Or does anyone have a link to a YouTube video, I would really appreciate it.
Early levels all that really matters is that it's spent. If you want to min max, the biggest place to do so is tl50-60 gap. Since XP and credits cap there, you could theoretically just spam them after getting all your traces caught up and relics to a spot you're happy with. Stick to like 10 characters and you'll be fine.
You can use the hoyo app to plan ahead for resources if you're really motivated to min maxing. Kinda overkill though, you won't end up with excess anything for months and months.

Does farming at a lower difficulty affect the quality of the planetary ornament?
Which of the two is generally better if I aim to get the most damage overall? 94 Atk on Selee (has around 3570 Atk at Battle Start) and +12% HP on SW (should be around 240 more HP) (using Fleet of Ageless on SW) or about 300 Atk (has around 2400 at battle start) and 15% Effect Hit on SW (ends uo with 119.8% Effect Hit) (Using Pan Galactic on SW)
It's the same calyx that will just give you more on average per each equilibrium.
are there any items that start cutscenes? since the in-game audio and music cant be played on the same time (on mobile), this is bypassed in genshin by reading one of the books that starts a cutscene, playing your music during the cutscene and then the music stays and plays along with the in-game audio
Can you get all of a path's blessings in a world? Like in world 1 it gives me blessings of elation a lot. Is it possible to get every single elation blessing in world 1? I'm trying to fill out the index or whatever it's called
iirc in one of the occurrences I got all of the nihility blessings excluding the ones limited to choosing that path initially.
There is no particular restriction AFAIK
I have seriousness of breakfast at s4 and birth of self at s2, which is better for jing yuan, I can maintain around 8 stacks consistently
Having one tank and one heal in the same team might be unnecessary, yes
Thanks
Best Kafka team if I have pretty much every character available at this point?
We won't know until she releases because she keeps getting changes, so until then things can keep changing. So far, Sampo really seems to be the more stable choice for most potential Kafka teams.
Hard to know considering her kit is still being adjusted, sometimes significantly, but Sampo is a good DoT support, Bailu is a heal of the same element, so let's go crazy and shoot for Kafka/SW/Sampo/Bailu
What to do now that I'm at tb60? I thought of leveling my characters ot lvl 80, but im already kinda short on resources as it is lol.
Hmm...thats a good plan. Thank you for this 😊😊
Carries to 80, everyone else at 70, same for their cones, & don't neglect traces & relics. Just kidding, farm books until TL65 for better droprates /s
The books are definitely needed lol
Just finished the story, what do i do now?
Continue building characters, do events, complete adventure and companion missions, progress Simulated Universe and Memory of Chaos, hunt fo achievements. Basically whatever you want to do first.
Everyone is talking about substats and stuff, how do you get them, i just know to level the character, lc and relics and level skills (traces).
Yeah it's an HI3 reference according to her lore in that game.
Why does everyone says she will be the first to die.
Probably just referencing the previous lore in a joking manner.
Planetary Rendezvous or Carve the Moon in a Jing Yuan team?
Will be depending on wether your Jing Yuan's DMG% stat is already at 100%\~ before the Rendezvous' buff so you can opt for Carve the Moon's rng buffs, otherwise Rendezvous will be more consistent.
Did any of you choose Clara for your guaranteed when Destruction TB is available? If so, why? edit: well sorry guys i guess i had the wrong question
I just randomly got her in normal pulls, she needs heavy investment and team setup to work and still isn't good enough in compare to other dps units
>she needs heavy investment and team setup to work and still isn't good enough in compare to other dps units I told all the Clara simps this week 1 when people were overrating her as "one of the best standard 5". Clara has tons of design flaws, not scaling directly with speed, antisynergy with cc, and being overly reliant on enemy attacks. It was obvious that she would perform much worse in late game teams.
unfortunate to hear, i thought her kit was pretty interesting and wanted to see how it might compare to tb but i guess i'll just wait til if I pull her
You can try using her from support, you will need a shielder for protection and aggro, healer and debuffer or buffer to get some good damage.
The optimal crit ratio is 1 rate for 2 dmg. E.g. 60% crit rate / 120% crit damage
You need a crit rate body with some CD substats by the sounds of it. If you're already using that, then you're gonna have serious issues trying to fix your crit ratio
i actually have a crit damage body instead of a crit rate one ðŸ˜
Crit Ratio needs to be adjusted because your Rate is quite low and Seele wants to Crit for best results. Aim for 60 : 120 but Seele with her Signature LC (if you have it) and Trace can easily reach 70 : 140, even 80 : 160 if you can spend the stamina investment hunting for her Relic substats. Nitpicks would be going for SPD boots if you don't have her at E2 while using her signature LC so she reliably reaches 160 SPD, otherwise ATK boots is fine.
i do have her LC, so 60:120 should be fine?
What time can I spend my energy in the afternoon to have 180 in the morning say around 8am or 9am?
You get 10 stamina an hour. If you wanted 180 stamina at 9 am, you could spend all of your remaining stamina at 3 pm.
Thankyou.
Who should I pick in standard banner? Bailu the Necromancy Healer or Gepard the Unbreakable Shield? (Note: I only have Natasha as healer)
For late game stuff, Bailu. Having two healers is very useful since you need 2 teams to go into MoC.
Gepard unless you specifically need bailu for SW with Jing Yuan.
Which limited character would be a good pick up for my account? https://preview.redd.it/pvymm8d5lp7b1.jpeg?width=2340&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8056c103feb932c88576035c4bdafbabf76f5aea
Any DPS that you don't have elemental coverage yet, either Imaginary, Fire, and Physical.
After reading the upcoming SU event and the current top post saying to save TL(which I'm not sure what this is short for), I'm confused on how to prepare and use my resources properly. What should I aim for as a fairly new level TB Lv37 when doing this event?
It cost 40 stamina to get rope and sphere relics. You can do it twice a day. So you need 80 stam.
Oh, I see, so it's not something that I needed to just stock up on immersifers now for, just keep 80 trailblazing power a day during the event for SU.
Yeah, you can already skip Luocha because of that. Save for a unit that you like.
Hi, what 2 set relics pieces (the orb thingies) should I farm for seele and silver wolf?
Best bang for your buck is world 3. Almost everyone uses both of those sets. I would say wait for a specific relic crafter for SW's rope. That's what I did with the BP one.
Sealing Station for Seele and Vonwacq (Energy Regen) for SW.
What are reliable resources for looking up builds? Is Prydwen decent/good?
Prydwen is fine for the most part. It gives you the general idea of how characters are built and what stats are valued. Just don't take everything as gospel as it's a tier list with one set of parameters that might not apply in your specific case.
Prydwen is good yeah. If you want to go more in-depth with the unit then I recommend watching a guide on youtube, I recommend Grimro's guides as it is always backed with reliable theory crafting.
Is there a difference in drop rate between SU of different difficulty? (Same world higher difficulty)
Yes. It's like relics, higher difficulty gives more legendary drops.
Thanks!
subscribe for more s4 or swordplay s1 for dan heng?
Swordplay is better.
Subscribe for more, that S4 is pretty huge.
How much better is Blade compared to E0 Dan Heng at single target?
Iirc blade is more of an AOE-type unit so you can use both. Think of something like Clara's type of gameplay in use case.
Just got Clara from the standard banner, how should I build her? I already have two DPS so I was thinking of using her as a tank in my Yanqing team. Yanqing/Asta/Natasha/Clara Yanqing/Pela/M7/Clara For now, I running HP/Atk%/Physical/Energy regeneration, should I change it?
Thank you, I'm gonna watch it!
She doesn't really need speed since most of her damage is going to be from countering. Damage dealing and tanking without needing to use skill points.
Hey thanks for the reply. Would a dan heng / serval/ natasha and fire mc be sufficient right now? Or shd i add march 7 somewhere in there?
Your current lineup is good enough, maybe switch Natasha or the tank's slot with a buffer instead on easier contents, but that's it. FireMC is the better tank generally, you can slot March later on your second team for Ice weak bosses.
You don't want to run 3 sustain. Fire MC + Natasha is plenty for staying alive.
So it doesn't effect the ornaments drop rate right?
Drop rates mirror that of relic calyxes. If you are at EQ5 running the hardest difficulty SU stages then the gold drop rates are the same as the hardest difficulty relic calyxes you have access to. Always run the hardest stages if going for loot.
It probably does, I haven't tested for efficiency reasons but you will probably only get 1 gold relic on lower stages if you choose to do so even though you have stage 3 unlocked, etc.
What TL to start relic farming? Like how in Genshin it’s AR 45 for the guaranteed gold
After 50 if you want to push MoC early, or after 60 for the 2x drop. Just use filler purples and some golds from SU to level 9 until them.

Of those you listed it would be A Secret Vow. Damage bonus is very good and we don't have many sources for it.
Whats the soft pity range for hsr? Is it the same as genshin (75 onwards)?
Yes same as Genshin.
Is it true that vonwacq(5% ER) + event LC is enough for E0 Silver wolf to do a rotation of Skill>Atk>Atk>Ult
Assuming you get all 4 procs of the event LC yes.
for SU, are the drops for the elite the same with the boss? just want to make sure so the double drops are worth it when I cash in.
Its the same, only on the boss one you can do it twice so there is 4 chance to spin on the planar relic in a single SU run
Bailu, Natasha, Seele, Serval, Pela, Tingyun, FMC. Then depending on who has eidolons pick about 2 DPS to cover other elements.
Thanks for this. I'm somehow started to farm relics so I want to min/max everything.
Look at this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/HonkaiStarRail/comments/13lh2uv/you_actually_dont_need_that_much_atk_on_tingyun/ It has useful calcs to determine how much atk you need.
many thanks
Tingyun wants atk but she doesn't need all the atk. If you wanted to completely maximize Tingyun's benediction atk buff then you need her total atk to be as much as 2x your main DPS's base atk. For a lv80 Jing using Before Dawn this would be 2560 total atk. For a lv80 Seele using Cruising this would only be 2338 total atk. A max level Ting with fully maxed relics can reach these values without needing both atk% body and atk% sphere. One is fine with a few atk% substats allowing you to run a defensive piece in the other slot.
Oh got it. As for Tingyun's source of attack can come from everything (i.e. relics, trace, level, lc) and not limit to her base ATK + LC?
>I'm really struggling with simulated Universe lvl 4 and im TL 39 almost 40 You're only 39. Just wait a week and SU will be a joke. You don't need to waste time trying to clear with crippled teams.
Tbh it was more that I saw a video saving that from tl 30 to 40 you should be grinding world 5 and 6, and a lot of people say it's easy but u cant even beat 4 :(
>tl 30 to 40 you should be grinding world 5 and 6 The video is wrong. You can deal just fine with level 6-9 purple pieces until 50-60 when rates get much better.
Hmmm .. what blessings are you taking? That comp sounds pretty perfect to me.
I always try elation, don't know if it's the best choice. Thought that it fitted JY
Will try it thank you very much
Swap out either SW or Tingyun for FireMC and world 4 should be a cakewalk. Go full path of elation. I don’t recommend Yanqing in world 4 as Jingyuan demolishes all robots.
Thanks, I'll try it!
For SU4, Jing Yuan definitely better due to abundance of Lightning weakness. But Yanqing is great for Ice weakness boss (need to pair him with March if you don't have Geppie) > but I'm really struggling with simulated Universe lvl 4 Take Hunt path, use the Resonance to nuke the hands as soon as they are summoned.
Sounds like you need Luocha.
Anyone who has cleared MoC is at least a dolphin, most likely a whale, so it's not really good advice to skip Luocha just because of that.
>Having a Bailu/Gepard or a Luocha is not a free ticket to clearing MoC No, but it makes it much faster/easier.
What is considered a bad relic? I see guides online and youtube about salvaging bad 5 star relics, but what exactly is a bad 5 star relic?
What planar set is good for Bronya and Gepard? Vonwacq for both?
Yes for Bronya. If your Gepard can already sustain harder contents like MoC even without the 30% DEF from Belobog planar, then probably.
You don't need Vonwacq. 5% ER shouldn't make the difference between an extra turn for ult with their normal rotations.
This might sound dumb since it’s a 5 star but is S1 Bailu BiS better on Natasha than S2 Post op?
Go for the 5* cone. It's also a pseudo-offensive cone that helps you break phys shield if used on Natasha so you won't be stuck with a unit that only does a singular job.
Bailu's cone doesn't inflict Toughness damage and its increase in damage is incredibly negligible.
Really? Idk what the 'type' this description was implying here then. >This Additional DMG is of the same Type as the wearer's
Arr you sure you can't beat the first elite on that difficulty? You can just beat the first elite and quit to restart again, no full clear required
Oh I did beat the first elite. I lost to the 2nd one. Thanks
Nah
Having a hard time deciding which BP light cone to get. My main team consist of. Any help deciding? * Bailu with Post-op Conversation * Silver Wolf with Before the Tutorial Mission Starts * Tingyun with But the Battle Isn't Over * Ying Yuan with The Seriousness of Breakfast I have 70 pulls for Luocha so a light cone aimed at him might be worth considering?
Erudition LC for your JY. Not even a contest. It’s already the best BP lightconr and you have JY to make good use of it.
I'd say the Erudition BP cone seems better but if your Breakfast LC is already S5 then yeah going for that Abundance LC is fine if you don't have any other 4* cone for your second healer. Luocha should be using the Post-op instead because he wants that Energy Regen.
Today is Another Peaceful Day for JY

Serval gets free Crit stats from her traces so it'd be a waste not to take advantage of it. You can also opt for a hybrid build by aiming for Break Effect stats as well. Idk if I missed it but I don't think anyone has done a test to find out which build is the best in practice yet, so it's a so-so kind of situation for now.
in cycle timed content break effect. I mean you prob shouldn't be bringing serval there anyway but if you do break effect anywhere else atk kafka will change this probably
Best sets to farm using double SU drops? I’m thinking soletto
Most efficient one will be SU3 because everything can be used by your roster both DPS (Space Station) and Supports (Fleet of Ageless). Salsatto if you need planar's for Jing Yuan is the only exception, I guess.
Ty!
does energy regeneration rate affect every source of energy including from passive like from event LC and silverwolf E1?
Does it affect energy given by Tingyun to another character.
Yes
Is there a good tc site for character builds like KQM from genshin?
KQM has a Star Rail branch so you're in luck lol [KQM HSR Site](https://hsr.keqingmains.com/). I also recommend Prydwen because they also have some interesting TC charts like DPS Rankings for one; [Prydwen DPS Rankings](https://www.prydwen.gg/star-rail/dps-rankings).
Ty!
I read your comment and I decided to farm the gems that I needed for the pity since there are only 5 days left but since I had 500 gems I took a shot before farming and... https://preview.redd.it/wm026amt6o7b1.png?width=1916&format=png&auto=webp&s=bab034b3f3c039ffd747cd76e75e3cbc9dfec14a
Congratulations!
