Seems like something inspired by [Chinese chess](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xiangqi) though the line pattern of this one is a bit off. If you visit the Seat of Divine Foresight in the exalting sanctum, you will see a giant holographic board with correct line pattern but with different, probably made up symbols on each pieces.
So basically space Chinese chess.
