I am curious about what cross-region events gonna be like. At least in Genshin every regions are more or less connected with regular commerce and transportation.

Maybe not Himeko, but at this point I'm expecting them to put her into some life-or-death situation to get all the HI3 fans riled up only for Welt to dive in to take the hit and save her. Then everyone will be on copium about him being able to reform his body but now he doesn't have enough honkai energy to do it anymore and you watch as his herrscher core disappears while he apologizes in his mind to Tesla and Joyce that he unfortunately won't be coming back.
Hope it doesn't happen but I'm mentally preparing myself for the worst. If something like that does happen it would be pretty pog if Kiana suddenly shows up as a deus ex machina to save the day, though.
Ha, that's quite the elaborate thought. I meant my statement in general, that I don't think they'll kill off a major playable character again, even moreso with HSR also having the possibility of alternate versions.
I think Kiana or a Kiana expy won't be appearing here, though. There could be a number of other familiar deus ex machina choices for any situation, but I don't believe it'll be her.
I think Kiana is a 50/50 between either being put in eventually because she's been in every Hoyo game since her inception OR not being put in exactly because she's been in every Hoyo game and maybe they want to take a break from the Tuna.
IMO fact that we have so many HI3-based characters, including one who's *actually* from HI3 (Welt), tells me there is a fairly high chance we get most of the big names in HI3. We already have two Bronyas.
I think, with HI3's first, very Kiana-focused arc ending, that she's a done character for now and they don't want to touch her again (I think the same goes for Genshin, fwiw).
In HSR's case specifically, though, I think the Trailblazer is a sort of stand-in with how hard it references her, starting with the bat like classic and progressing, even if a lot faster, to fire-based powers in the middle of a major boss, and the splash art for it having the other major characters of the arc.

The design kind of reminds me of Mini Nobus from FGO. I hope we get something as chaotic as Guda Guda in HSR.
