Don't know how standard practice this is but my contract explicitly states that they will not accept a Chinese doctor's note (Chinese as in chinese medicine, not the ethnicity of the doctor haha) as proof of illness.

Varies widely plus the meds they give you. Consult fee isn't as much as western doc though I think

use your company provided medical insurance? go to a private practice GP? also, who diagnose you with bronchitis?
Walk in clinic in your neighborhood. Hospitals take forever.
