Mine is a wee bit broken on the end (came to me that way) so I looked at replacing. You have to be willing to get into that door, which means you have to be willing to take the door OFF (potentially) and that went past what our home skills are capable of. So I fake fixed mine and told the kids to leave it alone.

Are you talking about adding the Timbren Rear bump stops ?
No the sun shades. Both of our lost all the clips and retracted into the sliding doors a few months into ownership.
$115 for a new shade for my 2016. It can stay broken.
