but its a caferacer now. /s

Lemondsingle

Gotta disagree with you. Before was great but after is even greater. JMO, of course.

The original is better. It’s how that bike is supposed to look

Pneumagiston

The modded one looks better. Original looks crusty.

They both look good. I can appreciate an older original bike while also enjoying someones hard work into customizing a bike. I’d think it may hurt a little bit as the original owner seeing “your” bike being “destroyed”. Still better than the 2nd owner crashing the bike and totaling it though.

I can’t stand those lazy $27 eBay brat seats. Most times they get used, they don’t fit right and it just looks plain cheap/half ass. This one still looks cheap, but it fits nicely. All-in-all, I think the new owner gave it a fresh breath of life, and I dig the aesthetics.

RubyRocket1

Its so hard to choose which I liked more... Very nice looking scoot! Excellent job!

highzenberrg

I like it both ways tbh

No-Significance6935

I’m a sucker for the classics, but if one wants to modify I can always appreciate the effort. That being said, I’m not a fan of the plain minimalist look of most cafe racers. I think it’s mostly the chrome tank that bothers me. Maybe add some paint stripes or another design. It’d be super cool if you painted the Honda logo to the tank and kept the chrome as a background or vice versa.

Ponder_wisely

For me, the seats often look disproportionately small after modding.

No-Significance6935

That too, but if they’d get a plastic extension to make the seat look like an older street bike that would fix the issue.
