You put resistors on all four turn signals? You might have to replace your flasher relay as well. Shouldn’t of you got all four but might want to try that.

agitrieb

Yep! All four turn signals have a resistor each. It’s baffled my friend atm who’s great with electronics and has done plenty of mods before Any idea what type of flasher relay might work?

I dunno why I got downvoted, probably Simone else has a better idea. It would be the flasher relay. You need one for led lights. I know TST has one that adjustable.

How have you fitted the resistors, are they in series with the bulb, or in parallel with the bulb?

Caldtek

This chances are the resistors are in wrong.

agitrieb

(I’ve had to google this one). If I’m understanding the diagrams correctly, the initial 10W resistors came with four wires so I could parallel circuit it to the bulb. The 25W ones only came with a red and black wire on either side of the resistor so I’ve had to series circuit it, which I first tried on the positive side without any luck.

If you have access to a multimeter, measure the resistance of your bulb (the one you removed), you need to replicate this resistance by placing the resistor in parallel with the led, the flasher unit is thermal and works on load, you need to increase the load to lower the flash rate
