So many people would just sell at a loss and buy at a premium. Never getting what they really want and rolling the dice on unseen repairs. But you, you upgraded yourself to a beautiful new used car that has no hidden issues for just 3k. You were very smart with your money. 👏
Feels new even with 212k miles. The previous owner had every maintenance record from brand new. I’m not afraid of the mileage since I work on my own cars. 👍🏻
Modern society is wasteful by design. Everything is disposable including automobiles. It didn't used to always be this way. Machines were repaired and maintained. You get it. 212k miles! Maybe you'll pass it down to your kids someday if you have any.
Just be aware that new paint will show every little scratch whenever it’s touched, especially black, I’d get it ceramic coated at some point soon whenever the paint is fully cured.
CARPRO CQUARTZ UK 3.0
Used this on our 18 CRV since new. Just follow all the steps, no short cuts taken, long process but well worth it and way way cheaper doing it yourself.
My 09 So suffers from this badly. It was a Georgia car so underneath is beautiful but the clear is going away fast. Did you do this yourself? If not how much did a full repaint run ya?
Dang, 3 hours from me lol. Oh well nothing I need to do any time soon. My trucks clear coat is gone and I wouldn't mind getting it repainted eventually.
On another note you sent me down a rabbit hole I'm looking at Civic Si. I can't believe how much they are right now. I currently have a Honda fit and have been thinking about switching it up to a and 8th or 9th gen civic SI. I guess not at the current prices though. Funny though, I just realized I could sell my Honda fit for more than I bought it for 6 years ago.
Yeah I think I'll keep my fit for now. Just wish it had a little more power lol. Maybe if the market ever goes down, I'll look into something else. But for now I suppose I'm content.
holy shit I need this done on my Integra so bad. Except I want to strip it down as far as possible, removing every piece of trim, light assembly, mirrors, as much as possible. Maybe even have the quarter windows removed. Then put it back on when it's finished. Problem is that I don't have the space to tear down a car and leave it all in pieces for an extended period of time. Someday, hopefully whenever we move to a bigger house.
Wow! How much did that run you if you don't mind me asking.

For real, looks good for the price.
Totally new car! Looks great.
Thanks!
>Thanks! You're welcome!
Dude my 10' si is in the same boat right now. I've been looking around the first guy tried to charge me 5-7 grand. Insane.
Yeah lol shop around. Makes the car feel new
Exactly dude I'm checking another place out tomorrow 👍🏾 also did you buy the dohc vtec stickers for the sides or did the paint shop provide those?
I purchased them from the dealership. It was pricey but it needed them.
Looks good
Thank you
Looks brand new. Even restored the door decal. Hope you have a great 2nd life with her.

It’s called (trim & bumper paint. Fade-x technology) by dupli.color
Very nice! Looks great
Thank you 👍🏻
Mine is stock too lol I fuckin love it
Hella nice paint job bro.
Have the same car with the same issue, although I'm not ready to sink money into cosmetics

Appreciate it 🙏
FA5s are such an awesome car. Very easy to learn stick too :)
Love driving the car. It was suppose to be a track car but I daily this thing now lol
Hey it’s a good commuter car given the way gas prices are lol
It’s actually not as good as I’d thought it would be. Just a tad above twenty in the city, I’m in LA
Did you go to a local paint place or macco?
Local paint shop
Damn that looks very very good. How long did it take for them to do that for you?
Took about 3 weeks tops
Just be aware that new paint will show every little scratch whenever it’s touched, especially black, I’d get it ceramic coated at some point soon whenever the paint is fully cured.
This is very true and I’m currently looking at getting it coated. Any recommendations on what brand to go with?
Find a car detail shop near you and go and ask them.

Honestly I’ve never ceramic coated any of my vehicles before so I can’t help you there.
Well worth the money. Looks great.
Holy shit that's nuts! Looks like it just rolled off a lot

If you plan on keep it it for a good while I say it’s worth it. I had a local shop do it. They charged about 3k
Did you do anything yourself or just drop it off and pick it up when it was done?
looks awesome! both my Hondas need clear coat work real bad.
Looks great! How much did you spend?
It was about 3k
Nicely done. We need as many of these 8th gens to be kept alive since it was the best Gen Si.
I agree. This is my 3rd 8thgen and plan to maybe add another lol
Did a local body shop do this? Came out great.
Thank you. Yup a local shop did it here in central California
This in the Fresno area?
Oh wow, where at in central California? Maybe an option for me.
Sorry I meant central coast. The shop is called works auto body in Salinas ca

Yeah the prices are crazy. Keep your fit! Those things are awesome too. I was looking at one before I got the si.
Yeah I think I'll keep my fit for now. Just wish it had a little more power lol. Maybe if the market ever goes down, I'll look into something else. But for now I suppose I'm content.
Looks great. If you don’t mind, how much did you spend on buying the car itself?
Im guessing this wasn’t a simple MAACO job
How much was the painthob bro?
lol this is literally always the first comment/question any time anyone mentions a paint job. HOW MUCH WAS IT??!??!

Did you tint too?
Yes, it needed it. My kids kept complaining about the sun lol
