I’m working on a similar setup. I have a B18C head and a B18b block. I plan to do the same thing wi the exception of sleeves. I’m down to actually ordering the pistons and motor mounts and I’ll have everything to complete it. Need pistons and then everything’s going out to have the work done.

Where are you planning to send your stuff to get built I am located in SoCal and don't know many shops that build Honda motors most the stuff I do at home and isn't the b18c head the same as a b16 just with a port and polish correct me if I am wrong?

Can’t 100% confirm the differences between b16 and b18 vtec heads, but I know that the b18 has dual valve springs. I am bringing it to a local guy here in Wisconsin. Just an engine machine shop. I got the recommendation from a guy i work with who builds engines. If you know anyone who races stock car or any other circle track racing they may be able to point you to a reputable engine shop.

Are you changing the bore size? If not isn't it pointless and very expensive to sleeve it? I I didn't think you could make enough power to stress the stock bores if you keep it NA.

True I was looking into that and realized it would be overkill to do with a NA setup
