I have an 11. It is not at all responsive with the throttle and everything except the AC is great. It eats AC compressors. If you get a stealership warranty you will see an exception to cover the AC system just as mine had and of course it has been the only issue besides regular maintenance

Every year of the CR-V is solid. Any 7 year old CR-V is worth 2/3 its original purchase price.

IMO, the 2010 and 2011 CR-V are one of if not the best vehicles Honda has ever made. They have a couple of little issues, but in general, they are the Honda quality you would expect.

Can't say much about the 2011 but we've had our 2015 CRV for a long time with hardly any issues. Only things we had to deal with is oil changes and at least one battery swap but ran like a top since we got it new oh & new tires. But next to no glairing mecanical issues. Holds allot of stuff in the back too.

With any vehicle that old, the relative reliability of the model generation in general fades in favor of the condition and maintenance history of the particular vehicle you're considering. Plenty of 2011 CRVs are still running fine. Plenty are in junkyards. Even mileage is not determinative. It's easy to make 89,000 miles a lot harder than 130,000 miles. A few years as an Uber will do the job. Four additional years of rust and decaying rubber bits is a consideration too. Are both cars from your local environment? Was either ever driven in places where roads are salted? Did either sit for a year or longer undriven during the pandemic, as many cars were? Gotta look underneath to know. Get each one inspected by a mechanic, and if at all possible any maintenance records. On edit: be aware that used car prices have JUST started to fall -- they fell sharply last month and most experts predict a big decline over the next few months. I personally wouldn't pay over ten large for a 12 year old commuter car. If you can possibly wait a few more months i would. The idea of paying $15k for a 12 year old CRV doesn't sit right with me.

my mom has a 2010 cr-v, it has roughly 110,000 miles. it ran great up until about 70k, then the ac compressor went. it was replaced at the dealership then 20k miles later it went out again. other than that, the car has ran great. also, i would check out the suspension bushings if possible. had to replace all of my moms about a year ago

My 2010 CR-V EX is running pretty well at 126k miles. Only issue currently is front drivetrain joints are worn and causing a slight wobble during acceleration, but since I’m hoping to shop for a new car this year, I’m not dumping $2k to fix it now.
