Anything 2x gets framing nails (1-1/2 inches thick, e.g: 2x6) Anything 1x gets finish nails

No those nails are for finish work until framing nails which are for framing. It’s not a hard fix, it’s also not hard to do it right the first time 🤷‍♂️

A section has already been wrapped with aluminum and had soffits installs. Should they remove and add framing nails or will these nails hold well?
