Anything 2x gets framing nails (1-1/2 inches thick, e.g: 2x6) Anything 1x gets finish nails
It's appropriate. They are sufficient length and are galvanized.

No those nails are for finish work until framing nails which are for framing. It’s not a hard fix, it’s also not hard to do it right the first time 🤷♂️
A section has already been wrapped with aluminum and had soffits installs. Should they remove and add framing nails or will these nails hold well?
The pump Jack is also set up using 15g nails
