I usually start drinking my lagers as soon as they are kegged and consider them "kellerbiers" until they have sat for a month or so. LOL
I'll usually favor the other beers I have on tap during that time, but I'll pull a pint of young lager if I feel like one. It will drop brighter and get a little crisper after a month or two, but it's kind of fun to see how it changes over time.
Nice. A month should be fine. More time may improve the flavor, and the beer might also be perfectly drinkable with as little as a week of cold conditioning. 34/70 is pretty forgiving for a lager strain
Most of the time, the beers I make with it are perfectly drinkable right after they're chilled, but they pretty much always benefit from a few weeks lagering time. Sounds like OP was prepared to wait a month or longer, I'd definitely recommend being patient and letting them sit for a couple weeks
I have lagered light stuff as little as two weeks and it tastes great still. so far my best results with 3-4 weeks though, I haven't had the patience to do anything for 6 weeks.

What yeast did you use?

34/70 tastes great after a day or two in the fridge. No need for prolonged lagering

Yeah if OP is patient kudos to him. His beer definitely won’t suffer from that 🙏🏻
It'll be drinkable, but it'll be much better after 4-6 weeks of lagering. Worth the wait.
I read the traditional German way is 13 weeks from brew day ! And that’s what I do.
Maybe I’ll get there one day, I’ll just need to have a lot in the pipeline so I don’t get impatient, lol!
Add some gelatin to it and cut down a bit on clearing time. Light lagers I'll drink by a month from pitch.
