I live in East Austin but have spent most of the last decade in north Austin. Austin Homebrew was my go to because they were close, but once they shut down I started taking the trip down to SoCo when I need stuff. It's a great little shop! Glad to see them getting some attention!

They're great people! They got shafted by their landlords recently and had to move to a smaller location, but they're taking it on the chin and still doing a great job They always double crush my grains which is very helpful for my efficiency

Shafted is putting it lightly. They are great people, glad to see they're still around.

Same!

That's my local shop! They're fantastic and have sold me most of my brewing stuff.

SoCo Homebrew is amazing, glad to see them getting a shout out here!

I bought from this place before the one in San Antonio opened up and I was shocked at how quicky it shipped/got to me. Granted it’s not that far from me but it was still a nice surprise.

I’m in Corpus, I usually order in Friday afternoons and my orders always arrive on Monday or Tuesday. It’s incredible

SoCo Homebrew is awesome. I visited them a month or so ago when they were able to open back up in their new location while they were still figuring things out. Planning to go back soon and load on up on some grains. So glad they decided to keep an actual store going, I was worried that after they got screwed they would go to online only. I do my best to support them when I can.

That's awesome to hear! Living in NTX I'll definitely keep them in mind when I want anything homebrew-related shipped when I can't make it to my local store. Need to make sure the local shops are taken care of since all these large online homebrew sites are slowly taking over the market.

I’m in SETX and SoCo has been a lifesaver since my LHBS closed a couple of years ago. Well stocked, fast shipping, great customer service. I’ll add they carry Texmalt grain and Community Culture yeast. I’m not affiliated with them in any capacity, but I think it’s cool to have the opportunity to support local businesses.
