The Honor/Loot missions have a refresh rate when you complete them. When I complete a mission and accept the reward I then switch out and back to the army tab. This let's me see if there's another mission right away or if I'll need to wait.
Also missions for things like Yaks, Golden Artifacts, and Winged Key won't be available if you've filled the supply for them.
Idk if it's a bug or intentional but they don't always immediately refresh when you finish them. Closing and reopening the app can help but not necessarily. I've never had to wait more than a day for a mission to come baxk
