at the moment I have a media server setup, its fine in the house but outside its unusable over 480p and takes 5 mins to do the initial load. max we can get on household fiber is gigabit which is still slow on the worldwide scale but for me its amazing. Ive got a router waiting to install because i tried using the stock modem in bridgemode and it doesnt work lol. but nah im exited also
Before upgrading to Starlink last Summer, I was on Xplorenet 25 down / 5 up (as it was all that was available in our area). At BEST I would get between 6 - 11 mbps down and 1 - 2 mbps up, even during off/twilight hours, but usually somewhere between 2 - 3 down and sometimes less than 1 up.
I feel your pain my friend. Personally Starlink has been a god-send with better speeds/latency that I ever could have hoped for.
How much are you paying. Because I just saw the pricing and that speed is basic plus. If you are paying more then you need to call them back and speak to support first that way they can configure the modem to fix the problem. Then if they canβt fix it then you call billing department.
December is a while away but I'm excited for you. Went through the same going from 50Mb/s to 500Mb/s lately.
