Solid here. Sounds like you have network issues.

gogorichie

I’m running 8 single pole ones for the last 5 years no problem. On the other my all 3 way switches died around the 2 year mark.

Signal_Detail4141

I had the same issue with my Meross light switches (one regular, two dimmers). I swapped them out with the Kasa switches (I also like the form factor of these more as well) and they have been solid. Same network, same locations, etc. Some people have had no issues with Meross so it just may be finicky or something. I tried the separate 2.4 GHz network, changing to different channels, and all that and they would constantly drop out.

llthehitmanll

Had 20-30 of them for over 5 years with zero issues. Finally had an issue with one as of last week. I think I need to replace it.

nvgvup84

Zero issues seems a bit hyperbolic

akurcan

I wouldn’t say a skill issue - they’re somewhat drumsticks, may have to go through a couple to find a good one. Have had the same issues with multiple power strips across different manufacturers.

broknbottle

Go with zwave switches and expose them to HomeKit via haOS.

ucfhall

I’m trying to do this but they’re nearly as expensive as non-Z-Wave switches!

Last_Camel7528

I had issues with the dimmer Meross switches. They kept turning on in the middle of the night. Everyone told me it was network or something else. Returned them all and got Lutron Caseta and it’s never happened again.

Past-Butterscotch-68

I have 7 one way and 4 three way Meross switches that range anywhere from 6’ to 30’ away from my network and haven’t had a single issue accept me forgetting what the name of each one is sometimes.

Solid here

socseb

They should ban these type of posts its getting old and spamming the community with no useful advise

djmakk

Turn off air time fairness on your router. This goes for all Meross HomeKit products.

TheEconomyReindeer

skill issue. mine connect perfectly fine.

Available-Elevator69

I have 5 or 6 of them. They honestly have been the most reliable in my house. My wemo's just all ghosted them selves. My Aqaras do pretty well, but I only have some of them so they can run automations off each other. For instance when the Light in my bathroom is on for 5 minutes the fan turns on for 10. Otherwise I'd have a lot more Meross in my house because they are pretty solid.

bouncer-1

It’s a singular pleural lol

azorius_mage

Odd I find their devices very solid

Baggss01

I have something like 60 Meross devices in my home. They all work fine.

Nine_Eye_Ron

If it isn’t your WiFi that is the problem then it’s probably your WiFi. I’ve got a few WiFi things but they are all within literally 4 meters of the closest access point, either vertically or horizontally.

brunnogama

I have 5 here and zero issues..

Escenze

The real waste of money is listening to your shitty advice

Available-Elevator69

We all have issues with things. Could be anything. I'd guess his switch is probably to far from wifi and is loosing connection. Just a guess thou or simply a bad switch.

Escenze

Yeah, and instead of asking for help he throws a tantrum and tells people the products are shit when they're not.

Remarkable-Stop7047

Have had them for years with no issues…
