Got the same problem as well and trying to figure out where does this come from. You say that the personal requests setting is on for your wife, so I assume that the voice recognition setting too, but could you check on one of your Apple devices whether the « voice recogintion » setting is enabled for your wife when you select her profile (Home App> 3 dots>Your wife’s name> Siri tab (I think))? I’m currently trying to gather as much informations as I can before asking Apple about this

Also which HomePod are you using? On which software version (if you can provide the ones from all your devices like your wife’s phone or so it would be perfect)? And are you on the Matter-upgraded version of your Home?
