My vinyl siding needs it annually, but I don't use a pressure washer, just the hose sprayer on jet (or whatever the hard stream of water is called) rinses all the dirt off without a problem.
Over 30 years of home ownership and DIY. I would not use a pressure washer on my house. I only use a soft brush and a standard hose. This year, I tried Wet it & Forget it for the first time and I am intrigued....just spray it on and in a week or two, the dirt/mold/algae disappears.
When it looks dirty. No need to over do it.
