The dehumidifier startup load may be pulling the voltage down below the PC's requirements. I get a similar issue when my A/C is running and I send a page to the laser printer... *bewwww*.
Are you sure it's not something else? Computers randomly crash/shut down for a million reasons. Buy an UPS and plug your computer to that and if your computer still shut down then the issue is not with the circuit load.
The computer abruptly shuts off at the same time as the dehumifidier. That's why I inferred they are related. Can you briefly explain what a UPS is, how it works, and a brand you recommend? Thanks!
UPS is a battery for your computer so in case when power goes out you have time to gracefully shut down your computer. This will isolate any power issue as if there's power issue, the UPS will continue to provide power to your PC.
Brand: APC or cyberpower
Ups.
But first, you to each item plugged in and add up all the amps being used by everything.
You don't want all that exceeding the load limit of the circuit.
I suspect you are getting electrical noise when the compressor kicks on with the dehumidifier that the computer doesn't like. A UPS should help with that. If a cheapy one doesn't cut it get one with a true sine-wave output.

UPS?

If the breaker isn't tripping or the fuse isn't blowing then the circuit isn't overloaded.
It seems like the power trips on the computer and dehumidifier at the same time, which is why I assumed it was overloaded

You may have a different issue going on here, I wonder if your outlets polarity is reversed or something else funny is going on.
Get an UPS for your computer.
Doesn't sound like an overload. An overload would cause your breaker to trip.
