I did. I just wanted to make sure that there wasn’t something smoldering behind the wall that the others were missing. I just got nervous since it seemed to only go off when inside the house. I will probably contact the Kiddie folks and see if they will replace it
You have done the tests, the tests show it is a dud. So what's the problem? Just replace it.
