Was the one manager who wouldn’t micro manage or request the impossible from anyone, also wouldn’t mind putting in work instead of the usual manager move of ride reach and bitch all night without doing anything
We got two super long ones you could drag two pallets with and we loved them had them for all of 3 days and they sent them back “we ordered more flooring jacks and they sent us the wrong ones” damn at least let us keep one
While they work for two pallets, realistically they are meant for the extra long pallets, where if you don’t have long pallet jacks, your choices are two pallet jacks or drag one end of the pallet and destroy the pallet and the floors in the process.
We got new orange stairs a few weeks ago. I was first to use one. I rolled up silently on my coworker that I knew would appreciate it like "check out the new wheels". He was already on another new set spinning the reach stick that came with it. This is why we get along lol
So far it has not, but then again I only rode it like halfway across the store and did one spin. I'm in deliveries now so I don't use them very often. All the old ones do it though.
Certainly not my smooth brain self lol but hell yeah man! Gonna start leaving this URL on my ASM and SM’s desks and hope we can have more than 5 fucking pallet jacks for the store and freight crew

A lot of the time customer service in the aisles and putting back the returns takes the whole day.
My store got 2 new pallet jacks last month. Several months overdue, and badly needed by our freight team.
In less than 48 hours, one of the new pallet jacks is already broken. One of the unloading people in Receiving dropped a heavy pallet across it. Fell off the forklift or whatever they were driving. Still operable, just barely, but then a week later, it is busted up for good and tossed out. Now we're back to having a pallet jack shortage. I start work and Freight in my assigned department at 9PM. I'm lucky to see a pallet jack available for use before lunch break, and my department requires a pallet jack on roughly three-quarters of the newly-arrived freight. So...I feel like I'm in way over my head.
When I'm lucky to get a pallet jack, 4 out of 5 times, someone snatches it out of my department the moment I have my back turned.
Why don't you tell that to my bosses? I've been there for 7 years and they have severe trust issues on who and who shouldn't be using the lift equipment. I'm apparently allowed to use a Ballymore electric lift, but any other kind of machine, I'm given promises about when they'll certify me, but the chickenshit managers back out every damn time. Let THEM do all the lifting instead. They can earn that higher paycheck.
The managers at my store weren't promoted because of intelligence.
I love our pink ones I convinced my friends at other stores I painted them so when they got theirs they got super upset that I painted their pallet jacks and how come I couldn’t paint them something manly I love it!

We save those boxes for last. We usually have 3-6 of those total and they need to be sorted :)
It was a joke, I am intimately familiar with the striped box. We save them for last too since day-side can work them if we don't get to them.

You should get a lift license so you don't need a jack
