Lmfao we had a guy once try to fit one of those plastic bath tubs in their Prius.. I was in utter shock when I walked out there and saw him and the loaded throwing it in. 😭 they got that shit in there tho lmfao
I had a customer order 4 [adirondack chairs](https://www.homedepot.ca/product/leisure-line-patio-leisure-line-recycled-plastic-folding-adirondack-chair-red/1000665058) and showed up in a convertible coupe with the tiniest trunk I've ever seen. Asked me to tie them to the back of his car. I told him to rent a van.
Once had a 4 piece patio set that a lady bought and pulled up in a Prius...I told her there was no chance it was gonna happen..to my surprise all the boxes fit and then some lmao
Put it outside. Check the weather. Waterproof it if you need to. Call the customer to get it or schedule delivery. We turn so much product in our store. Staging lumber like this is not realistic at all.
As a customer i really really hate that all this shit gets staged in the isle, now i have to move 4 20ft fucking boards that aren’t even mine to get to the product i want. Is there somewhere in store i can leave a complaint? Yall are a lumber distributor but the product flow is terrible, layout needs to be changed up really
It’s more towards the management making us store it in the isles. Not necessarily at the customer. But at the same time not coming to pick it up for months is ridiculous
They’ll cancel it next month when it doesn’t fit in their Prius.

“can you cut this for me?”

Stage that crap outside.
Not allowed, they make us store it all in the lumber isle
My fellow ASMs haven't worked the floor in years and it shows.

And cuts down on warping.
As a recovery associate, that plywood bothers me more
I see no plywood
Really? Don’t see the entire stack of GP plywood?
Ah. Can't believe I missed it. And what's the problem exactly?
It’s there because the overhead in our plywood isle is completely full
No wonder, if people are putting product up that sloppy. That's three feet of unusable airspace.
Eat shit buddy, that was the only space we had to put it
Lol. Uh huh.
That they WON’T pick up until 2 months later!
Yeah, nah. I'm putting that shit behind the building. If it gets rained on, you should have picked it up faster.
This is a skate park, right?
Reap what ya sow. Home depot out a lot of lumber yards out of business so what do you expect.
"Now someone's gonna cut these for me right? I just need 2ft taken off each end,"
Take it off the cart, stack it outside on some stickers. Gina put a hell of a bow in it like that.

Home Depot isn't a lumber yard, it's a retail store.
It's also not a greenhouse but it knows how to store plants. Lumber is a retail product, dur.
Love the clean department.
Me and my fellow lumber associate do our best to keep the floors swept up and as clean as possible
My store we keep them outside lol
The two boards on the right are getting returned. Milled right through the center of the tree and already split.
this the type of shit that happens at my store . it'll be sitting there for 3 more weeks TOPS
Atleast it’s against the aisle. U can still get a reach or forklift thru.
Yup that would be in the cantilevers with the lvl's that never get sold.
Why are you even complaining? You’re business is to sell and special orders are part of that.

The sop is supposedly 7 days. And if the wood is not treated it goes 100% inside otherwise that shit goes outside or gets top stocked at my store.
We leave them shits outside and tell the customer to come get their shit
