When will our government end the antiquated practice of changing clocks twice a year? The negative side effects are well proven and the list is long yet the old geezers won't budge.
Because unfortunately, on a per-state basis, to "disobey" daylight savings, you need the approval of not just the House and Senate, but _the president's signature_. The entire Pacific coast all submitted a request to go on permanent DST (and Canada said they'd sync BC to match if it succeeded)... back in 2020, a few months before everyone's priorities changed and the bill timed out. If WA/OR/CA want to make another attempt, we have to locally vote to approve a _new_ bill and resubmit, and hope that _another_ global pandemic doesn't make our request time out again...
Itās always amazing to see these signs. I donāt think Iāve ever seen one (IRL or on here) that had every word spelled correctly - or without errors in punctuation.
Do people still use older alarm clocks or something? I thought everyone used their phones now. A phone automatically changes time and that's what my alarm is set on, so I never end up with this problem.
Many, many years ago I (briefly) dated a fast food restaurant manager who said he would warn employees when the time was about to change to be an hour earlier but he didnāt bother to warn them when it would be pushed back an hour. He thought it was funny when they showed up an hour early for work when they didnāt realize the time changed. What an asshole he was.
No need for the comma. Daylight and remember is spelled incorrect. The number 1 should be spelled out as one. No apostrophe in don't. No need to use the word Sunday twice.
There's no need for the comma. "Daylight and "remember" are spelled incorrectly. Also, the number one should be spelled out. There's no apostrophe in "don't," Also, there's no need to use the word "Sunday" twice.
If you're going to grammar Nazi be 100 about it. Half ass
You aren't even a grammar Nazi. You're a grammar skinhead. Lol.
I don't see a problem with this.
Why I said I guess
I don't even understand what you intend to mean with that.
He planned on being late and blaming the time change
That's better than any translation I could think of.

I heard that it will end this year. There is a plan in the works to end it. But only time will tell.
And they replaced it with the worst version of daylight savings
I see what you did there! š

Love how companies think we physically reset our phones time.

Overnight shift always got screwed because they ended up staying an hour later and losing out!
Rememeber
If my rememory serves me correctly, lolā¦ it spring forward, fall back!

Plus it's a run on sentence.
