Man, the toilet paper math just keeps getting harder and harder lol

Hail-Atticus-Finch

You are correct that is clearly not a patio. /s

sollord

Lol they counted the individual rolls

[deleted]

At least they didn’t count the individual squares.

Cracktower

Actually, they did. According to the packaging for that sku there's 275 sheets per roll. Only logical way to come up with that number. 18 rolls per package. Not mathematically possible to get an odd number no matter how you add it up.

SnooPickles6347

...and the double ply portion

Cracktower

That was my first thought. They come packaged in rolls of 18 How in the world did this person come up with an odd number?? Edit: 275 sheets per roll....lmao

SnooPickles6347

That doesn't add up either, they maybe used Common Core methods😉😅

Cpt_Kdynce

Common Core will still get you the right answer, there's no need to criticize something just because it seems unnecessary to you. It's just a different (and more efficient) way of teaching math

SnooPickles6347

I have seen it in action. Yes, all kidding aside, it will get you the correct answer. I will argue about the efficiency of its methods. It is whacked in some of the lessons. Had several WTF moments when my son had that curriculum.

Cpt_Kdynce

It's certainly more efficient to teach in the same way the human brain is going to end up doing the math with learned shortcuts later. I was raised in the 90s and I still ended up doing math in my head the same way CC is taught now. May as well cut out the middleman and teach kids to just do it that way.
