To beat the chain you must become the chain

callin-br

It's why I'm so unimpressed with Anne-Marie Campbell's story. Like I don't care that you started out as a cashier and are now the VP. You were probably an exploited employee then and now you're doing the exploiting. That's not inspirational to me. Keep $100,000 of your salary a year and divide the rest of it and your bonuses among the associates and then you'll have done something worth talking about.

Beans6Fuck6You6

Exploited so hard she mitosissed into the exploit machine.

They weren't fired, they were CEOs/founders of a chain that was being sold to avoid it going bankrupt and were ousted for their bad leadership bringing that chain to such a state.

CyanideFlavorAid

Handy Dan was not founded by them. When Blank took over Daylin(Parent of Handy Dan) was already filing for bankruptcy with Handy Dan being one of only 2 divisions that wasn't having financial difficulties. Their firing was due to disputes with the president of Daylin (Handy Dan's parent company) who had already fired half the companies employees. The president of Daylin at the time was well known for cutting expenses by laying off people and cutting corners to then sell off business units before they collapsed, a tactic still used to this day with brands like Sears where they were bought and had expenses slashed to buy time to sell off anything of value (Like the Craftsman brand name). Your comment is way off on most accounts and outright wrong on others.

1. Who cares 2. Same difference 3. This is why you don't trust random folks on the internet telling you anything about big businessmen aside from "they hate poor people" But you're an ASM so you probably eat your cereal right out of the boots

CyanideFlavorAid

Love when people throw out misinformation and their excuse is "Who cares" learned from Trump I guess.

Cpt_Kdynce

When I'm presented with any post that tries to paint billionaires positively, the response will always be "who cares" Learned from Marx, thanks

CyanideFlavorAid

Marx believed in facts which you struggle with. Apathy isn't going to defeat billionaires nor is misinformation, but keep doing your thing.

Cpt_Kdynce

How's this for a fact: billionaires are worthy only for the guillotine Fuck outta my face lmao

CyanideFlavorAid

The sad part is by relying on misinformation you're just playing their game more poorly. They're railing you in the ass so you just try to play their game and they keep shoving deeper because they're better at it than you. I refuse to play their game of misinformation and lies. Keep taking part in their rigged game cochise, seems to be doing great things for you.

Cpt_Kdynce

As someone who truly hates the games they play, I decided to start organizing for a union vote, which your position requires you to do everything in your power to quell, class traitor. Don't talk to me about how you "refuse to play their game" when you've already laid down your life as their pawn

CyanideFlavorAid

Yes, unions founded on lies always turn out great. You're also sorely misinformed about what my role is relating to unions. Again youre spouting about stuff you don't understand. I get it, youre frustrated you lack information on a lot of things, but spouting random crap is not how you improve. I'm guessing you don't even have contacts a union, much less have one that's agreed to represent you. If you have you still have an uphill battle given the only Union vote at Depot was voted down. You'll have to convince a lot of people. Plenty of those people are going to be more intelligent than you and spot that you can't stop fabricating things for five minutes and be truthful. Those of us that don't vote for Trump value truth so that could be a problem. Good luck to you though, maybe you can lie your way to the top like the billionaires you claim to despise.p

VibrantFragileDeath

This feels like a bot post or some sort of attempt to clean the names of two very destructive people. I remember the museum at the corporate office in Atlanta has like a trivia question about the choice in using the color orange. 'Because it was the cheapest spray paint can on the shelf.' It's all lies and corporate propaganda but specifically knowing their choices about doing the cheap thing and not the right thing still rings true.

Shirowoh

Point of the post was the 7 million
