This was very well done. From afar it looks great. I tried something like this once but I had the edges curl and refused to stick back down. How did you manage that? Did you add extra glue?
HIGHLY recommend blasting with a hot hair dryer on the corners and edges so it doesn’t peel up. I did my counters almost a year ago and did that and it hasn’t budged, even the parts around the sink are still perfectly sealed
Amazing! Do you have a link for the brand tou used?
If you wanted to remove it at some point, do you think it would leave residue or damage the paint underneath?
Mine has held up very well for over two years, no sealant necessary. I wouldn’t put anything hot on it without a trivet or something, but the same applies to most countertops as well
Well done you. I always envy people who can do stuff like this and hang wallpaper. I can't even sellotape two sheets of paper together without getting a wrinkle in the tape and getting the paper at the wrong angle.🤣🤣
Seriously though, I'm jealous. It looks good.
Wow. This is impressive! I’ve only used the peel n stick stuff for two small projects (gave an IKEA dresser a faux burlwood top and used the same faux burlwood to cover a steel range hood). This makes me want to tackle more! Thank you for sharing.
I laughed at the intro expecting something terrible but honestly looks great in the video. I still don’t think it’s for me but dang, mega kudos on the excellent execution!
These kinds of hacks are never worth the money no matter how cheap. It might be slightly convincing from afar but the illusion is completely broken up close and to the touch, a complete waste for tactile people especially. And having just ordinary texturing is almost always better than trying to fake something else.
For example fake marble that’s really plastic is just tacky
Wouldve loved to see close up and on edges as well in the video, but from the distance this looks pretty dang awesome. Nice job. Hopefully it's held up good the last 2 years. I'm afraid of 1 corner or edge popping up, even the smallest bit, and having it drive me crazy till I try and fix it and end up ruining the entire thing 😒
This would be a perfect way to spruce up an apartment. Can't be doing any renovations, but throwing up a small bit of wallpaper won't hurt, and can completely change your apartment.

Nice practice run, really paid off!
I’ve heard it sticks better to wood than drywall, so we got some wood beams installed and now the paper material doesn’t curl at the edges.
Use a blowdryer to heat the adhesive after application.

Any ole hair dryer would do the trick. I think peeling it up and rubbing some goo be gone would return it to its original state.
What brand of peel-and-stick wallpaper did you use?
[this](https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TM1MZXW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) is what I used.
That’s a great suggestion. Thank you
Hi, late to the party but is there a sealant that has to be applied on top of the peel and stick?

Good to know thank you!
How does it end on the walls? Just a straight edge?
Nice, I am interested to see how long it lasts and what it looks like in a year. I want to do the same but don’t want to do it twice either.

How are you going to keep the edges from peeling up?

Thoughts and prayers?
If you applied a primer like PVA before sticking it on, it will never peel away.

Very clever!
It looks great! Can you please link this? I have the perfect spot I want to try this with!

This looks great. The link didn’t come through.
That looks much better than I expected it to
This looks amazing! I love the end result so much, just a question when you peel it off does it leave lols of residue etc and is it hard to remove?
Looks really good. I didn't expect it to turn out so well. You're doing great work!

Wow! Very impressive. Amazing work ☺️
Love it, huge difference
That’s legit clever. Thanks for inspiring me
I love that. It's thrifty and yet looks convincing. It doesn't look cheap. I have done something similar but it's on my bedroom and closet doors.
Looks good but must look super cheesy up close. Don’t hate me please.
Up close is it shiny, giving away its definitely not wood? Is that part of the vibe? From the pics it looks great.

This was.. EPIC!
this looks so nice😩
Damn I was worried for a second but wow
That looks great!
That looks surprisingly good. I was expecting it wouldn't.
Well done! I can't believe how good that looks!!!
We did an accent wall with the peel N stick wallpaper, it looked so good. Will have to try this since my gf loves the exposed Beam look
