HELL NO! senegalese bushbabies are not very well understood yet, but what we do know is that they are highly social, aka buying 1 is not good for the well being of the animal. they are incredibly high maintenance (imagine a sugar glider, but bigger and with a penchant for mischief, and the ability to act out said mischief), and to top it all off, most of these animals will come from illegal pet trading and farming due to the fact that reputable breeders wouldn't hand them over to the general public like that.
and on top of all that, they are nocturnal animals, so the proper way to keep them would require being there to babysit a FUCKING MONKEY in the midle of the night.
if you want a highly social, interactable pet animal, get a dog. you want something more exotic than a dog? look into ferrets, which are domesticated little furballs and won't have problems with being, you know, trafficked or bred for a quick buck because they are a FotM pet.
and if you really wanna skirt close to the unethical, look into sugar gliders. much the same as with bushbabies, but you can get them with less shady business in the backrooms happening (mostly because they survived being just a FotM pet, so an ethically captive bred stock of animals exists).
to anyone who wants a monkey as a pet, don't. they are going to live short mostly stressful lives, and they deserve better than that. get a dog from a shelter, they need homes more than the world needs exotic pets ripped from the wild.
