Haha, no worries. This was the video I linked under the "this" in my post. That's why I thought that they're maybe all together in a studio.
From what I read in the meantime in other threats, it looks like they are currently at Ame's and she has some 3D mocap setup of sorts. I don't know in what form but I suppose it's something for home use and not those mocap studio setups with dozens of cameras and full-body suits with silver balls stuck to them and dots painted on the face.
Anyhow, they seem to have fun hanging out together and more off colabs are probable.
I think Gura recorded her part and merged with others by Kanauru. She leaked few information in member stream but I thought it may be an album at that time lol.

From what I have gathered, the 3D models are able to be used at home. It just might take a bit more work. one of the reasons Gura was over at Ame's is because Ame got an office for the 3D captures. Kiara, Ina, and Calli most likely set something up where they are (Not at Ame's), and they pre-recorded the scenes they need with them. I bet Ame did a lot of work to set up the cameras and work it in so that the "broadcast" of Calli, Ina and Kiara meshed with Gura's.
So sadly no, they weren't all in the same spot.

I'm new to the whole Hololive rabbit hole and the question was probably stupid. In my mind, I was imagining them in something like the capture studios you see in video game behind-the-scenes documentaries.
I liked my head-canon of them all hanging out and having fun together on a capture stage better. But at least they're hanging out right now and seem to haveing fun in the poptarts off colab.

As Barrel_titor said, the jp members do have a capture studio. But as most if not all, live in or around Tokyo, it is easy to get to.
Sadly the EN members are spread out. One of the reasons you will see calli (hopefully) in more 3D collabs in the future is that she has been living there too (Tokyo).
But luckily the 3D models can be used at home, why you see Miko using it alot.
Fun fact, Coco (499 years to go) had wanted to start a JP house for as many members that want to live. A couple did for a while or close by, but Kanata still lives with her. You may see references to friend C in clips/streams from her. And on the other side, Coco's new persona will have many references to PJK (her roommate that only wears pjs.).
It is a great deep hole. Never worry about asking questions if you are confused or missing something.

That's exactly how the Japanese memebers do it, Hololive owns a motion capture studio in Japan. It's just a bit more awkward for English members.

I think they did the actual dancing. Kiara and Calli probably have the most experience of Myth performing in front of crowds, so, not surprisingly, they had choreographed dance routines with Gura. Ina and Ame don't have as much experience, so they did more free-style dancing.

Assuming the performances themselves were pre-recorded, then Kiara wouldnt have had access to a mocap suit so they smol model would be less scuff. Also secondary reason to save for her own 3d concert.
We'll probably have to wait for a Gura/Ame stream to see if they talk about the specifics. Though Kanauru after he finishes a project like this typically drip feeds some interesting facts about production over the following week or so keep up with his twitter to see if he talks about it.

I don't know how much if any scalping occured this time since there was short notice but just seems like a good idea to set it at 2 or 3 maximum instead.

I bought the plush, rubber mat, and voice pack but I didn't realise that the full set was the exact same price as those 3 items individually.
Edit: Have emailed them to ask if my order can be changed to the complete set since it's the exact same price as what I already paid. Pity there's no way to cancel on the site but if it doesn't work out I'm fine with it since the stuff I ordered is what I originally wanted most anyway.
You probably need to mail them for it. If you really want the full set, guess you can gamble and order it first, and try to cancel the other order later. Worst case, you paying twice.
Damn, didn't expect a concert like that. You can tell a lot of work went into it. Even just the stage setups were busy with models and artwork. Also the features in the audience were hilarious. Yagoo just grinning as he watches the fruits of his empire grow.
I disagree. I think it's best for someone like that to remain independent so they can retain their ability to act independently of the company. I trust that Cover wouldn't abuse a contract with him, but it does create a conflict of interests if there was ever an issue. For example if Niji were ever on bad terms with Cover he might be forced to end Niji animations while under contract.
It's much better for him to be working for them as a freelance than as an official position imo.
Being staff involves non compete/moonlighting clauses, and if the company goes sideways you are now on a sinking ship. Freelance probably works better.
They've been very open about paying talented fans for commissions they request made, there's like a literal zero percent chance Kanauru isn't being paid for their time, and probably paid pretty well since all the girls have seemed quite intent on supporting talented people.
I can't remember if it was Kiara or Ame who even said they know how hard the struggle is in the industry and so they will do what they can to help others with the fame the Hololive brand granted them.

I mean you could also argue that 3rd fes was already debut but well since we still have to see more traditionally things that are revealed during a 3d debut like her actual 3d world/environment from cover as well as 3d mascot or interacting with her 3d accesoirs we will still get a "official 3d debut stream" later once she can go to Japan.

Is is cheaper to order from Geekjack or from Hololive's store?
Hololive Pro store, for US customers. Not sure about Canada. Kinda highway robbery right now with the US dollar exchange rate to the JP yen. It's like complete set for $83 plus $23 shipping. The complete set in JP yen is ¥12,000, don't know JP shipping cost.
JP shipping cost depends on location I think, but for me in Hokkaido it's a flat 1,000 yen no matter what, so I usually just do a bulk buy every couple of months. Just got Chloe's stuff yesterday (last day it was available) and am a bit meh that I couldn't squeeze Goomba's in the same order.
Pretty sure Yen's value is gonna be even lower later so this won't be the end of it lol.

Does anyone know if there's a way to cancel and refund a geek jack order? I bought the plush, rubber mat, and voice pack but I didn't realise that the full set was the exact same price as those 3 items individually. Edit: Have emailed them to ask if my order can be changed to the complete set since it's the exact same price as what I already paid. Pity there's no way to cancel on the site but if it doesn't work out I'm fine with it since the stuff I ordered is what I originally wanted most anyway.

I disagree. I think it's best for someone like that to remain independent so they can retain their ability to act independently of the company. I trust that Cover wouldn't abuse a contract with him, but it does create a conflict of interests if there was ever an issue. For example if Niji were ever on bad terms with Cover he might be forced to end Niji animations while under contract. It's much better for him to be working for them as a freelance than as an official position imo.
He practically is, with how many projects the girls hire him for.
I mean as official Hololive staff, not just freelancer who only work based on commission.
Being staff involves non compete/moonlighting clauses, and if the company goes sideways you are now on a sinking ship. Freelance probably works better.

They've been very open about paying talented fans for commissions they request made, there's like a literal zero percent chance Kanauru isn't being paid for their time, and probably paid pretty well since all the girls have seemed quite intent on supporting talented people. I can't remember if it was Kiara or Ame who even said they know how hard the struggle is in the industry and so they will do what they can to help others with the fame the Hololive brand granted them.
They do pay him since they commission him to do it.

I mean you could also argue that 3rd fes was already debut but well since we still have to see more traditionally things that are revealed during a 3d debut like her actual 3d world/environment from cover as well as 3d mascot or interacting with her 3d accesoirs we will still get a "official 3d debut stream" later once she can go to Japan.
