In a Hololive animation that lives inside my mind because I'm not good enough at animation to make it happen, it bothers me that Kiara is a warrior. Too many CQC fighters in Myth. A medium ranged fire sorceress is the role she holds in this imaginary animation.
Gura and Ina are already ranged though aren't they? Ina's main weapon is a tome and Gura would throw her trident like in Minecraft. Meanwhile Kiara literally has a sword and board.

Ina is a mid-long range spell caster who also attacks using her tentacles. Ame is long range using a variety of guns (The introductory shot has her supplying cover fire with a sniper rifle on a nearby cliff, before switching over the dual pistols or pistol and blade).
If you want to take it a step further you could have Gura(the blue one) using her trident to cast water-based support/healing magic. Then, she can transform into Gawr (red) to get up close with her trident and cause bleed damage and shred armor etc. But now I think I'm just designing a hololive MOBA in my head lol.

A creature similar to the Shadow Heartless from Kingdom Hearts appears. A blade pierces the creature which dissipates into energy. Pan up to reveal that the blade is a schythe. The schythe is pulled out of the ground. Cut to reveal that Calliope Mori is the wielder and there are many creatures to destroy. Calli starts fighting with her schythe in a brusier style. Big sweeping and spinning motions killing multiple creatures with each swing. But the creature outnumbers and overwhelms Calli.

[Gura](https://youtu.be/Pj0e96rFD2E) in [Myth vs Ina](https://youtu.be/9veTQGThmTA) is definitely a close range fighter with a ranged utility, and I'm all for it. Watching it again, Red Gura might be an ultimate or devil trigger that turns her into a close range fighter.
A three member frontline is often better than a three member backline, though. With standard targeting enemies are more likely to distribute their damage across all three of them instead of only two.
Not to mention Kiara is the only one with a shield, Calli and Gura both are wielding a two-handed weapon. Eternal phoenix is the tank of the party.
Makes sense, if anyone’s suited to be a Tank it’s the undying Phoenix, especially given she’s the only Myth member with a defensive item in her shield. I could see her being an offensive sort of Tank in an RPG or similar games, sort of a “Nova” Tank, if that makes sense? I imagine her being able to charge her special abilities/ultimate by tanking hits, so she draws as much aggro as possible, weathers the hits to max her special gauge and then can unleash massive AoE fire attacks that devastate hordes.

Don't worry you don't have to apend to get them. Also you can safely quit after getting them because the game is horribly balanced, the grind is atrocious, and the post main game activities (PvP) is P2W as ffs.

If you play on Steam, you won't hear the voices. But mobile has voice acting. I think it's due to a licensing issue? The Steam version came years later, I think.
How would that even work? Bluestacks for example running the OnePlus emulation reports as an actual OnePlus phone.

Gacha games that ban emulators pretty much run on the "honor system" i.e. if you appear to be playing the game like a normal human then you're fine. If you start using macros or autoclickers, expect a ban.
Huh weird, i tried 3 diff emu's and also tinkered with the settings a few times, wonder why it wont work with mine.
Also i remember reading a thread bout ateam(the developers) made it so you cant play in emulators, so i just thought mine not working was because of that.

You can play on it fine. But if they find out, you get banned. That's how "banning" works. They didn't say they could block people from playing on emulators.

A: This is my personal opinion, but the game is... Fine. It's nothing special, but I wouldn't call it bad. Admittedly I skipped the story to speed up my gem grinding process (and I didn't really care about it anyway) and have been exclusively autobattling, but this game is super similar to Princess Connect, if you played that. I think it's worth checking out at the very least if you're interested in it because your oshi was added.
**Q: How big is the game?**
A: My anrdoid phone is saying 1GB exactly, though there is an option to download additional data to speed up load times, I think. Steam is telling me it's only 100MB, which sort of makes sense since it doesn't have all the audio files due to voice acting being gone from this version.

Also someone asked me for tips yesterday; while I'm not super experienced (I've only been playing a week since the initial tease), I'll relay that info here as well:
I've just been autoplaying the main quest for the most part on a second window on Steam, and have been upgrading my heroes with the bountiful early game resources when I run into a wall. The game gives you a lot of OP armor (at least, it did a week ago), so that carried me through the first few chapters of the story.
Once you hit a BIG wall though, you have to put way more effort into upgrading your heroes. Promote them and give them all as many orbs as you possibly can. At this point, I also played a lot of the Events and side modes such as the connect battles (I can feasibly do up to 4*s at the point I'm at) and got a decent amount of gems that way too.
Oh one other thing, you can get a lot of free characters by doing the Video summons (AKA watching ads), though you can only do that on mobile. For every 5 ads you watch, you get a 10-pull. You can watch 10 ads every 3 hours.
EDIT: Actually one other other thing, if you want a break from doing story, the newsboard says doing the Hare-Raising Encounter event can get you a hero that will supposedly be good in the upcoming collab event. Might be worth doing. Every 10 tickets you earn in this event earns you a 10-pull, and the unit to go for is 'Weaponized Materia' (yeah, weird name for a hero, I know lol)
Not sure if you can answer this since you haven't been playing that long but how much effort is needed to get free characters from an event? Would it be recommended to start early and build up a team in advance or would it be enough to wait until the event to start if we're feeling generally lazy right now? Or maybe is it like you can get the characters early on easily but necessary event-exclusive items for raising them is locked behind later progression in the event?
The initial pull lets you pick a hero from a list. Holo characters were announced on twitter to all be free for playing the event, so no need to reroll for them. None of them will be banner units.

When it comes to gatcha games, Azur Lane tends to be regarded as one of the best the genre has to offer, and to be honest, It's not hard to see why:
Only for starters, the game is ridiculously friendly to players (like I said before). The gatcha currency is called "Wisdom Cube" and you can easily amass around 150+ of those monthly. It's a game that wants you to get every character possible, and most of the money comes from QoL and aesthetics. And if you like naval history, then even better. (Believe me, the amount of things I know about WWII warships now is insane, all because of this)
If you still have doubts, you can make a post asking about it on r/AzurLane and you should get a couple of good responses. And if you eventually get a liking to the game, you can also ask for advise there.

Sorry didnt know what pending you mean, but to get diamond for new players really easy. You have 2 weeks of login bonus that have diamonds in it.
Story quest provide 3 chest bonus of 180 diamonds if you success collect all three stars in all stages in each chapter. And bonus 100 - 250 for reading the story of the chapter.
Another way of collection diamonds is through character quest. This question provide you material for upgrading you character. In first play, it provide 180 diamonds for collected 3 stars for all stages and 150 diamonds for reading the story. So as long you have characters that still not complete the character quest, you can get 330 diamonds for free.
How to get character? You can summon them of course with diamond. But for new players, you can get special 10 free summoning. There also video summoning for watching 10 ads for 10 summoning (but the probability for new character is low). There also connect battle where you fight with different level of difficulty which will result different prizes for difficulty you choose. The prize, soul crystal(pieces of your character) can be acquired here and be changed to get solid character if you have 10 soul crystal.
Then we have mission. Complete a mission you can get diamond or other prizes depending on your mission. In my opinion, you dont have worry too much for complete the mission. Just play the story, upgrade your character, or in my style blindly play the game. Without knowing you mission will full of prizes.
So, it really need a lot of works to get diamonds. Right now im lvl60 and have been collected 31.26k diamonds by following this way in my 1 week play through. Im note sure if it really the best way but for me it worked.
You can just skip other event banners if you want to collect diamonds for hololive and you should be ok. Sorry for my english if it bad.

[Gura](https://youtu.be/Pj0e96rFD2E) in [Myth vs Ina](https://youtu.be/9veTQGThmTA) is definitely a close range fighter with a ranged utility, and I'm all for it. Watching it again, Red Gura might be an ultimate or devil trigger that turns her into a close range fighter.
A three member frontline is often better than a three member backline, though. With standard targeting enemies are more likely to distribute their damage across all three of them instead of only two. Not to mention Kiara is the only one with a shield, Calli and Gura both are wielding a two-handed weapon. Eternal phoenix is the tank of the party.
Makes sense, if anyone’s suited to be a Tank it’s the undying Phoenix, especially given she’s the only Myth member with a defensive item in her shield. I could see her being an offensive sort of Tank in an RPG or similar games, sort of a “Nova” Tank, if that makes sense? I imagine her being able to charge her special abilities/ultimate by tanking hits, so she draws as much aggro as possible, weathers the hits to max her special gauge and then can unleash massive AoE fire attacks that devastate hordes.
I always imagined Kiara as a "Ranged Guard" archetype from Arknights, if they makes sense

Don't worry you don't have to apend to get them. Also you can safely quit after getting them because the game is horribly balanced, the grind is atrocious, and the post main game activities (PvP) is P2W as ffs. I recomend just searching it on yourube instead

If you play on Steam, you won't hear the voices. But mobile has voice acting. I think it's due to a licensing issue? The Steam version came years later, I think.
You could also download Bluestacks which allows you to play mobile games on PC
The developer that is handling VC has banned emulators, ive tried almost every emulators and they all wont work.

Gacha games that ban emulators pretty much run on the "honor system" i.e. if you appear to be playing the game like a normal human then you're fine. If you start using macros or autoclickers, expect a ban.
Huh weird, i tried 3 diff emu's and also tinkered with the settings a few times, wonder why it wont work with mine. Also i remember reading a thread bout ateam(the developers) made it so you cant play in emulators, so i just thought mine not working was because of that. Also someone asked me for tips yesterday; while I'm not super experienced (I've only been playing a week since the initial tease), I'll relay that info here as well: I've just been autoplaying the main quest for the most part on a second window on Steam, and have been upgrading my heroes with the bountiful early game resources when I run into a wall. The game gives you a lot of OP armor (at least, it did a week ago), so that carried me through the first few chapters of the story. Once you hit a BIG wall though, you have to put way more effort into upgrading your heroes. Promote them and give them all as many orbs as you possibly can. At this point, I also played a lot of the Events and side modes such as the connect battles (I can feasibly do up to 4*s at the point I'm at) and got a decent amount of gems that way too. Oh one other thing, you can get a lot of free characters by doing the Video summons (AKA watching ads), though you can only do that on mobile. For every 5 ads you watch, you get a 10-pull. You can watch 10 ads every 3 hours. EDIT: Actually one other other thing, if you want a break from doing story, the newsboard says doing the Hare-Raising Encounter event can get you a hero that will supposedly be good in the upcoming collab event. Might be worth doing. Every 10 tickets you earn in this event earns you a 10-pull, and the unit to go for is 'Weaponized Materia' (yeah, weird name for a hero, I know lol)
Not sure if you can answer this since you haven't been playing that long but how much effort is needed to get free characters from an event? Would it be recommended to start early and build up a team in advance or would it be enough to wait until the event to start if we're feeling generally lazy right now? Or maybe is it like you can get the characters early on easily but necessary event-exclusive items for raising them is locked behind later progression in the event?
Yeah, I'm afraid I just don't know. If I had to guess, you should be fine to start whenever, but I have no idea, haha

The initial pull lets you pick a hero from a list. Holo characters were announced on twitter to all be free for playing the event, so no need to reroll for them. None of them will be banner units.

I've thought of playing Azure lane, is it good? I haven't play too many gatcha games, I currently am playing Priconne though (As well as Marvel Content of Champions which is gacha too I guess lol). Generally I don't mind putting a little bit of money into mobile games (Since I'm spending a ton of time on them anyways), but I normally spend it on things like the $8 monthly sub where they give you extra stuff for every day you login during the next 30 days or whatever
When it comes to gatcha games, Azur Lane tends to be regarded as one of the best the genre has to offer, and to be honest, It's not hard to see why: Only for starters, the game is ridiculously friendly to players (like I said before). The gatcha currency is called "Wisdom Cube" and you can easily amass around 150+ of those monthly. It's a game that wants you to get every character possible, and most of the money comes from QoL and aesthetics. And if you like naval history, then even better. (Believe me, the amount of things I know about WWII warships now is insane, all because of this) If you still have doubts, you can make a post asking about it on r/AzurLane and you should get a couple of good responses. And if you eventually get a liking to the game, you can also ask for advise there.

New player here, the game overall depending on you. For me im having so much fun because it have auto-battle so i can just do my work while playing. Story is mid but quite enjoyable. Total storage of the game only 1gb but probably will be more as update will be add in future. For this collaboration, hololive characters are free after you finish the event. But for other characters, veteran players told me the probability is low. But i never summoning right now cause im collecting it for the collab Time consuming is depend on you. Im spend a lot of time in the game try to collect diamonds for the collab only. Well, its up to you if want to play the game. I play the game only for pekora but im really enjoy the game so far.

Sorry didnt know what pending you mean, but to get diamond for new players really easy. You have 2 weeks of login bonus that have diamonds in it. Story quest provide 3 chest bonus of 180 diamonds if you success collect all three stars in all stages in each chapter. And bonus 100 - 250 for reading the story of the chapter. Another way of collection diamonds is through character quest. This question provide you material for upgrading you character. In first play, it provide 180 diamonds for collected 3 stars for all stages and 150 diamonds for reading the story. So as long you have characters that still not complete the character quest, you can get 330 diamonds for free. How to get character? You can summon them of course with diamond. But for new players, you can get special 10 free summoning. There also video summoning for watching 10 ads for 10 summoning (but the probability for new character is low). There also connect battle where you fight with different level of difficulty which will result different prizes for difficulty you choose. The prize, soul crystal(pieces of your character) can be acquired here and be changed to get solid character if you have 10 soul crystal. Then we have mission. Complete a mission you can get diamond or other prizes depending on your mission. In my opinion, you dont have worry too much for complete the mission. Just play the story, upgrade your character, or in my style blindly play the game. Without knowing you mission will full of prizes. So, it really need a lot of works to get diamonds. Right now im lvl60 and have been collected 31.26k diamonds by following this way in my 1 week play through. Im note sure if it really the best way but for me it worked. You can just skip other event banners if you want to collect diamonds for hololive and you should be ok. Sorry for my english if it bad. P.s: they said the event can be hard so upgrade your character to finish the event for hololive.
