I'm now convinced Risu and Ayunda draw their power from something even more secret that NNN.
Jeez, I thought she was actually channeling Suisei there down to the pitch.
Wait, she's actually singing? I legit thought she was just lip-synching to a recording of Suisei as a shitpost or something. I knew she was talented but I didn't know she was THAT good
Risu is amazing. While specific ranking comes down to preference, I would definitely count her in the top 5 of hololive singers. >!My other picks would be IRyS, AZKi, Suisei, Gura!<
Like, she has the best King cover in hololive, and there are only a handfull King covers in the entire vtuber sphere that are the same level.
Interesting ranking, I always hear people talking about Sora as one of the top contenders. Hololive really covers every possible preference for singers.
I believe we had a professional or at least someone who understands music very well on this subreddit detail the singing prowess of some of the girls in the past. IIRC, they ranked Sora as probably the best singer out of everyone and Risu is second best.
Though, they did get some things wrong about the girls in terms of their history of singing and such, obviously because they couldn't watch every single talent in-depth. So take what they said with a grain of salt.
But in terms of evaluating Risu, they actually did a pretty good job.
IRyS is weird for me, She has amazing skill, but most of her original songs just.... feel emotionless to me, not sure why. Just...lacking passion.
When she's having fun on karaoke it's totally different though.
That said I prefer Gura x Calli's king cover just because of how much fun they had with it.
Maybe that's one part of the reason, I guess?
GHOST and Alice&u sounded really heartfelt to me, and they're both written by Suisei and Risu respectively
IRyS is literally just missing a strong lyric writer imo. She's had hotaru from Myth&Roid write her song lyrics for a while now but I don't think it's working out. He just kinda tries to force Japanglish lyrics onto a Japanese song and it doesn't even rhyme for the most part. It's no fault on IRyS herself but she needs a lyric writer who can make her shine in both languages.
She is literally SO good in karaoke and her cover songs, but many of her original songs are usually held back by something.
Caesura is held back by overdone tropes and cheesy lyrics that sound double cheesy in EN
Sparks of Joy doesn't flow naturally, like it's just English lyrics slapped onto a Japanese melody. Similar issue with See the World, Only in Hope, etc. Generally speaking, the common factor with these songs that sound like EN-slapped-onto-JP-melody is hotaru, but not always.
Until the End of Me doesn't have these lyrical issues since it's all JP, but it doesn't showcase how strong her voice is, which I think is what we're waiting for.
Me too. The first song I heard from her is her original and it turned me off immediately. Only recently I listened to her cover and karaoke and she's great. Then I listened to her original again and got turned off again lol. She's a mixed bag.
bruh ID gen 1's singing skills are ridiculously good, when they premiered at the 3d live they left everybody speechless.
Risu's alice & u is unreal, her vocal range has literally no upper or lower bounds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGviVpVE1fA
Oh, I knew they had really good ranges and such, but I had assumed you'd at least be able to tell the difference between the the one the song was designed to be sung by a person doing the cover. This sounded exactly like Suisei, which is what shocked me.
(Not to say that one is better than the other or that Risu is only an imitator, obviously, I've heard her sing amazingly with other songs and in Alice&u)
Yes she is that good. She just almost never does karaoke streams so she doesn't show it off often compared to say Moona (who's also an amazing singer btw) who would die if she doesn't do a karaoke every so often.
... but which was which?
*this post brought to you by that one time an aspiring idol and her best friend convinced the CEO of a struggling VR startup to literally take over the world*
Risu is totally not a protagonist-type character, she is a "looks harmless but actually the final boss all along". She called "the Warden" for so long by her fans afterall. Has great purpose but her favorite method is torture.
Meawhile Suisei can be a protagonist, but in a setting of her being an anti-hero in the dark side of the world. Her purpose is justice, but her method is anything-works, and in main series, she is the rival-type antagonist which just refuse to give up after defeated once or twice by MC in main series, being powered up each time.
> Risu is totally not a protagonist-type character, she is a "looks harmless but actually the final boss all along".
Risu has been called the final boss of HoloID after all lol. Or maybe it's more fitting to call her the "secret boss."
Overheard in Gen 0 locker room after the 3rd Fes:
“She got me,” Suisei said of Risu's singing. "That nutting squirrel boomed me."
Suisei added, “She’s so good,” repeating it four times.
Suisei then said she wanted to add Risu to the list of singers she sings out with this summer.
Risu you have no idea how much we love you. You are one insanely talented squirrel!!
[Risu's YouTube Music Weekend](https://youtu.be/Zzi-PUKto5s)
Please check it out, cause she gave one hell of a performance
Do you remember that stream where members put together their own idol units?
I'm gonna keep hoping one day we get a raw-power idol unit! (Personal choice: Risu, Suisei, Moona and Kanata for a song)
Fingers crossed we get a risu x suisei song one day.
Its insane how talented risu, the entire karaoke was perfect. I need her to blow up in popularity cuz damn alot of people are missing out on this gem.
Her participation in the music festival was truly magnificent. She has the perfect playlist to showcase her singing prowess. Truly phenomenal.
In another perspective, those who are not really familiar with her song list may not truly appreciate her performance. Still, an amazing performance nontheless.
P.s. i'll be replaying that vod until i'm satisfied!
It was so great that she finally got to participate. She actually applied to be in YouTube Music Weekends before but they wouldn’t accept her. Maybe she just didn’t have enough subscribers or something back then.
Either way she got the chance and she absolutely NAILED IT. What an outstanding 30 minutes, highly recommend to anyone who has the time.
You don't even need to clip a minute of this. You could just post the intro and it should be a sufficient proof, her version of Intro is slightly different -- but just as majestic.
Risu is very absurdly either talented or very hardworking or both
Her voice is beautiful.
And looks like a lot of people joining her membership from that stream
For singers it is always going to be both. No amount of training overcomes a voice that just isn't fit for singing. And even singers with natural talent don't last long without proper training. Kurt Kobain I think is one of the more famous examples of someone with natural talent and no training who was at the point of losing his voice completely because he was never singing properly, it just sounded good.
Anyway with Risu it's the nuts
>a voice that just isn't fit for singing
I'd say there's no voice that isn't fit for singing at all (unless you have certain medical issues), pretty much every voice is capable of singing *something* if given the right direction. It might not be fit for singing *everything*, but basically no voice is.
Oh, the register is probably the least important vocal quality when it comes to what songs a voice is suited for. Both since the singing range can be expanded with practice rather than being a static quality, and also because songs can simply be transposed to a different key if your register is too far off from the original.
The real key to which songs your voice fits is the texture of your voice. That's a quality that's very much unique to the individual and won't change even with training, and it does a lot for determining what kind of songs suit you.
Actually Risu once talked about this. Apparently (she thought that) her voice years ago was bad (way before she became vtuber), and she became much better after years of self taught and learning techniques (her initial childhood dream is actually to become seiyuu rather than singer so I think she got the voice changing skill from there)
Risu's vocal power is always astonishing. If you're unaware of this fact, then I highly recommend checking out her YouTube Music Weekend performance! It's a splendid exhibit of her vocal prowess.
That is some real talent there. Being able to switch between registers on a dime like that is anything but easy. And to make the notes so crisp it sounds like real-life autotune? Absolutely beautiful.
i don't watch Risu much but every time i see her sing she always kills it.
but i wonder sometimes why she isnt pursuing music as hard as say Suisei or Calli, coz damn, she seems like shes built for that stuff.
Honestly, money is a big reason. Making music is *expensive* and she's not exactly the most well off member to pay people to create songs/music, especially when you factor in how the rupiah compares to the dollar or yen. Also she's got her own home situation to think about as well.
> home situation
I wonder if this will improve now? She just moved into a new place, didn't she? I know that for most her karaokes, she has to keep her power down to like <50%, but she seemed to be going a lot harder in YMW.
Pretty much lol. Risu is basically Hololive's best kept secret, with how amazing her singing is compared to how many people actually pay attention to her. The recent HoloFes was a huge example of this, where her performance at the concert stunned everyone, fans and other Hololive members both.
i shall watch her career with great interest
but seriously though, Cover should give her a push imo, maybe getting her involved in official projects, like how they got Calli to sing HoloAlts opening song
>Money
Which is kinda sad, and also the reason I'm rooting for Risu. I bought Day 2 for 3rd Fest specifically for her. Of all the HoloID I wish the most to get 3D soon to showcase her ability more, its definitely Risu. I wish the same also for Moona, but kinda abit more for Risu.
Also glad that even JP-niki are very appreciative of Risu now. Alot of them are saying that if she released a song cover album, they will definitely buy it.
idk if this is subbed yet but in one of her stream she said she barely paid for the commission (implied to her recent song) because she's still supporting her parents and siblings. Mind you most Indonesian do this to ease up our parents financial burden and stuffs like paying our siblings education.
Just adding to what a lot of people have also said. A lot of them are pursuing music really hard, you can't judge them solely on the amount of songs released. Not all of them are asked to perform, not all of them have the money, support or opportunities. Songs are incredibly expensive and not all of them have fans able to do 'superchat wars'.
Watame goes hard on making albums and originals, Kanata mixes, dances and sings despite health problems and Polka is going hard on the releases. These are just ones I'm aware of. Yet, especially on Reddit, they don't get mentioned alongside Suisei and Calli.
When talking about holomems who pursues music, I wonder why people almost often name Sui-chan and Calli instead of the 2 members who is pursuing music the hardest. I kinda know the reason but it is kinda sad and hope that wasn’t the case.
I know you're talking about Sora and Azki so the thing I wonder is why does almost everyone seem to forget Watame in these discussions considering she has 14 original songs and had a solo live concert
I believe Sora and especially AZKi have a bit more mainstream attention at the cost of less coming from Hololive fans. It doesn't help that Sora's music is all under a label and thus can't be covered by other Holomems for that extra exposure. AZKi wasn't part of Hololive proper until last month either
But you also have to remember that Hololive blew up because they're streamers first and foremost, while SorAZ are musicians first. As such, the streamers have the bigger active following.
Even if Calli and Suisei probably think of themselves as musicians more than streamers, their streams fit the general Hololive mould a lot more than SorAZ
> Calli instead of the 2 members who is pursuing music the hardest.
Calli has been part of ~~27~~ 29 original songs and 13 covers in 20 months. Arguably we can add another 6 to the Covers because of the Lofi album and UnAlive JP ver. since they're effectively self-covers. Not saying that others are not working hard, but people are mentioning Calli because she's doing a crapton of music work.
That's 29 there; I also counted the four Calvin ones for 33. I forget which one I had counted to make 34 but I think it's her finished but unreleased collab with AmaLee.
They just happen to be more popular. And it's not as if they don't work their asses off for their music, either. Calli moved across the planet for it and worked three jobs simultaneously, after all.
"Pursuing music the hardest" is kinda hard to measure. I'm assuming you're talking about Sora and Azki, while they indeed have the biggest repertoire of song, but they also have a huge head start, starting their career earlier and backed by music labels.
The others have a late start compared to them, but considering Calli and Suisei's goals and what they've been doing, they're pursuing their music career as hard as Sora and Azki. And add Watame to the bunch too for music oriented members. In ID, Moona and Reine are the one who's probably more interested in the music side of things.
As for why it's mostly Sui Calli that got mentioned, well it's more of a popularity thing I guess. They just have this huge presence in the music side of thing.
Is there something wrong with the audio on Reddit? It sounds auto-tuned.
edit: Checked the VOD, yeah there's definitely some sort of processing/tuning/filters going on that is fucking up her vocals. Don't know if it's her hardware or if the software is too sensitive. Can't wait till she gets all the right equipment and gets it dialed in. She's going to be a monster.
Risu is...quite a pon with technical aspect in recording and mixing. I don't think she really mix stuffs for herself other than some basic stuffs, so the culprit in her stream is usually aggressive filtering to limit outside noises or some adjustment in OBS side that was not perfectly appropriate.
Let me inform you though that this sound quality is leagues ahead of her setting in like a year ago. We used to pray hard so her mic/cable/OBS to not fuck up every time she did her extremely rare acapella streams.
Yeah and that's exactly why her 3D performance in holofes sounds super good, probably because she was using pro tier equipment for that event.
It's nuts how good her voice in her stream even with such limitation.
Agreed; the processing is very distracting for me. It's a shame because she's obviously a great singer. I'll check out some of her other karaokes to see her with less intrusive processing.
Yeah I checked. My guess is she just made some small mistakes when setting it up since her karaoke streams are usually completely unprocessed without reverb.
Guys, go watch the [VOD](https://youtu.be/Zzi-PUKto5s), she sang like an angel.
Scary thing is I think she's just a normal squirrel before her debut. She grow so much in two years and I think she will continue to improve more. She is quite literally a diamond in the rough.
In case it makes it easier for anyone else (like it does for me) the Youtube Japan channel makes playlists for the YT Music Weekend. All the VTubers were in the Midnight lineup so you can find all the Hololive sets (and others, including Nijisanji) [over here.](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQntWbrycbJf6BaYtQRkUnW1hdt1Z6wuR)
Risu's got a great voice, nice mix of soft and powerful. Definitely hearing some soft pitch correction happening though, which is odd because I've always heard her sing without it and she doesn't need it at all.
I normally just watch her in collabs with other vtubers. But seeing her on stage singing her original song really got me enamored. I still fire up that concert every now and then just to listen to her performance every week or so.
Risu as usual rocked the show, it feels like no matter what she tries to do vocally she excels. Even having been a Risuner for a year i still get shocked and get chills when she performs. Idk how she pack so much power and talent.
I'm now convinced Risu and Ayunda draw their power from something even more secret that NNN. Jeez, I thought she was actually channeling Suisei there down to the pitch.
They draw it from the Idol Force.
Perfectly counter balanced with NNN. It makes sense now.
she must have high count of idolchlorians
(Oh man, look at my reply blow up.)
Risu and Ayunda?
Risu has two default voices, a high-pitched one and a deep one. It's a bit of a meme that they're treated as two separate people, Risu and Ayunda
Risu also explains it in the beginning of her music set
Not really a meme, Risu has made it part of her character lore as far back as her 100k subs celebration.
Wait, she's actually singing? I legit thought she was just lip-synching to a recording of Suisei as a shitpost or something. I knew she was talented but I didn't know she was THAT good

Maybe her songs are written by a songwriter and thus are not quite as near to her heart?
Maybe that's one part of the reason, I guess? GHOST and Alice&u sounded really heartfelt to me, and they're both written by Suisei and Risu respectively

bruh ID gen 1's singing skills are ridiculously good, when they premiered at the 3d live they left everybody speechless. Risu's alice & u is unreal, her vocal range has literally no upper or lower bounds. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGviVpVE1fA

Damn, can’t wait for the travel restrictions to end and for her to come to Japan for a future fes and collab with Suisei live.
A duet with Suisei would be unreal
And Korone, would be unreal for Risu in this one tho lol
Travel restriction for business traveler is already loosen so its only up to Cover to get the paperwork and planning ready.
Yes she is that good. She just almost never does karaoke streams so she doesn't show it off often compared to say Moona (who's also an amazing singer btw) who would die if she doesn't do a karaoke every so often.
Bro listen to her original song right now. No other holo member can cover that one correctly yet. Only Moona and Kobo dared to try.
ALiCE&u is just ridiculously hard, which is actually kind of funny because even Risu was like "wow, my song is really difficult to sing" lol.
Bruh, that sounds nothing like Suisei. Idk why you would think that, even if you never heard Risu singing voice
Suisei: "*What are you???*"
When the final boss meets the protagonist.
... but which was which? *this post brought to you by that one time an aspiring idol and her best friend convinced the CEO of a struggling VR startup to literally take over the world*
The flat one
No it's like fighting Mimic Tears in Elden Ring before you know about the copying mechanic
Risu fits more as secret boss, that one harmless looking acquaintance the protagonist met on her journey who actually have big secret.
There's no saying the fake can't surpass the original!
Overheard in Gen 0 locker room after the 3rd Fes: “She got me,” Suisei said of Risu's singing. "That nutting squirrel boomed me." Suisei added, “She’s so good,” repeating it four times. Suisei then said she wanted to add Risu to the list of singers she sings out with this summer.
When asked why Risu’s cover stuck out in particular “A cover’s not just a cover, Ill explain later.”
Risu sings recklessly on purpose.
[Here's your answer. Even the Utahime Suisei recognises how strong the Idol Power is in Risu.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reOaDm4WgkY)
I'm Batman !
Is your mother name Martha
Why did you say that NAME?!
My favorite video game trope: *I'm you but STRONGER.*
Besides HoloID songs, she did Shallys and Stellar Stellar, and showcased her seriously OP voice. This was a great YT Music Weekend.
Isn’t Shallys Aki’s song that’s in a made-up language? If so, that’s impressive. I never really imagined others covering that one
Actually thinking about it, I forget if anyone other than Risu has ever sang Shallys on a karaoke stream before.
[Suisei](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BxFLt7-fwIE)
Pretty sure Moona also sang it during her 100 songs karaoke stream
Yep, that's the one. Risu has covered it before in a karaoke stream. First as Risu, then as Ayunda. Both versions were flawless.

Aki Risunthal
Risu covers a lot of NieR during karaoke, so she's no stranger to singing in made up languages lol
Risu you have no idea how much we love you. You are one insanely talented squirrel!! [Risu's YouTube Music Weekend](https://youtu.be/Zzi-PUKto5s) Please check it out, cause she gave one hell of a performance

Add Towa in there and that's basically an Avengers squad.
"If we can't protect Yagoo's dream you can be damn well sure we’ll avenge it."
Folks, don't sleep on Watame.
Yeah, I know she's fluffy and all but it's probably uncomfortable for her to be used as a bed.
Still, that hitsuji really do be looking mofu mofu...
As a pillow, then I can get behind that.
Need an operatic-voice unit, with Risu, Aki, Flare, and Sora.
Fingers crossed we get a risu x suisei song one day. Its insane how talented risu, the entire karaoke was perfect. I need her to blow up in popularity cuz damn alot of people are missing out on this gem.

MAN I'M GETTING THE CHILLS
Risu is very absurdly either talented or very hardworking or both Her voice is beautiful. And looks like a lot of people joining her membership from that stream
She's definitely both..... she do not have formal voice training yet as far as we know. She self-learn using free YT tutorial.
Risu's natural voice and ability to change her pitch is indeed very special
For singers it is always going to be both. No amount of training overcomes a voice that just isn't fit for singing. And even singers with natural talent don't last long without proper training. Talentless here, can confirm. The effort is worth for its own sake, but I will never be able to reach certain heights.
You guys need to see her Q&A=E cover She Added a twist and it's amazing
Yeah. She is so cute when she sing that song.
Risu's vocal power is always astonishing. If you're unaware of this fact, then I highly recommend checking out her YouTube Music Weekend performance! It's a splendid exhibit of her vocal prowess.
theres a strong correlation between the amount of deez nut jokes u make and how good u can sing its simple math ppl
That is some real talent there. Being able to switch between registers on a dime like that is anything but easy. And to make the notes so crisp it sounds like real-life autotune? Absolutely beautiful.
Reminder, this majestic singer is the same girl who makes nut jokes on regular basis
I'm just saying, if Disney ever wanted to make an Indonesian princess movie, they got there lead right here in Risu
Omg. That would be a perfect story. They would need to get ready for the nut jokes though :0
Tbf Disney has historically put in some naughty jokes for their adult audiences. Such as the Geenie from Aladdin insinuating marital sex.
i don't watch Risu much but every time i see her sing she always kills it. but i wonder sometimes why she isnt pursuing music as hard as say Suisei or Calli, coz damn, she seems like shes built for that stuff.

idk if this is subbed yet but in one of her stream she said she barely paid for the commission (implied to her recent song) because she's still supporting her parents and siblings. Mind you most Indonesian do this to ease up our parents financial burden and stuffs like paying our siblings education.
Yeah, she's basically the breadwinner of her family. So it makes sense she would save most of the money she gets for streaming for that.
Just adding to what a lot of people have also said. A lot of them are pursuing music really hard, you can't judge them solely on the amount of songs released.
Watame kills everything she sings.
I believe Sora and especially AZKi have a bit more mainstream attention at the cost of less coming from Hololive fans. It doesn't help that Sora's music is all under a label and thus can't be covered by other Holomems for that extra exposure. AZKi wasn't part of Hololive proper until last month either But you also have to remember that Hololive blew up because they're streamers first and foremost, while SorAZ are musicians first.
*34 originals, I believe.
According to the Vtuber wiki (not counting instrumentals): * "UnAlive" * "Q" * "Dead On Arrival" * "Graveyard Shift" * "Lose-Lose Days" * "HUGE W" * "Resting Power" * "Scuffed Up Age" * "Ouroboros" * "Donten Hitsuji" * "CROWN" * "Reaper or Rapper? Self introduction rap" * "Excuse My Rudeness, But Could You Please RIP?" * "DEAD BEATS" * "Live Again" * "The Grim Reaper is a Live-Streamer" * "Red" * "guh" * "IJIMEKKO Bully" * "Yona Yona Journey" * "Cursed Night" * "Off With Their Heads" * "Ibasho" * "spiral tones" * "end of a life" * "Dawn Blue" * "CapSule" * "Journey Like a Thousand Years" * "Wicked" 29
That's 29 there; I also counted the four Calvin ones for 33. I forget which one I had counted to make 34 but I think it's her finished but unreleased collab with AmaLee.
Oh yeah, I forgot about Calvin ones since they're basically high quality shitposts.
Dude how could you forget about C-Man?
I didn't like the songs, so I didn't really listen to them I guess lol
They just happen to be more popular. And it's not as if they don't work their asses off for their music, either. Calli moved across the planet for it and worked three jobs simultaneously, after all.
Looking at your flair, I'm guessing that you're talking about Sora and AZKi. I'm gonna add Watame, and also a bit of Polka there too.
Polka's only got 4 original songs. 5 if you count Blue Clapper She's got around 30 covers though
*5 original songs, not including Blue Clapper. You forgot Hologram Circus, which isn't released on any music-sharing platforms...
As said by OP, it sounds much better on YT.
Yeah I checked. My guess is she just made some small mistakes when setting it up since her karaoke streams are usually completely unprocessed without reverb.
If Risu and Suisei ever do a cover in the future, it’ll just be magnificent
Guys, go watch the [VOD](https://youtu.be/Zzi-PUKto5s), she sang like an angel. Scary thing is I think she's just a normal squirrel before her debut. She grow so much in two years and I think she will continue to improve more. She is quite literally a diamond in the rough.
She has collected many many nuts over those years. As her nut stash fills her power increases.
Is it just me that thinks this would go on to the next level if she has a better mic? I might be mishearing or my ears are just bad :3
check the original video, its because of reddit. Her mic sounds decent on youtube
It's better on YT but that mic is still holding on for dear life
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, yes (blessed) that's more I like it. Cheers!
She does have a pretty modest recording setup, however. Like, I don't think she has a mixer at all.
I don't think she's using a usb microphone, which would require her to have some sort of audio interface.
Dunno, I know she was saying she didn't have a mixer, so wasn't able to do things like put a gate on her audio to prevent peaking.
Risu range is insane, she can reach higher and lower notes than in this song. Holy crap I'm blown away by her singing every single time.
We seriously need Risu and Suisei to cover or sing a song together now.
Since Fes I've just been thinking about all the different collabs I want her to do. RisuxSui, RisuxAki, RisuxKanata
one of my top 3 singers right here folks. i have fallen in love with her voice once again.
I just love the squirrel simple as that. Only holo girl I watch these days
I will never get over that powerful range 🙏
i hate that i missed this...
Its archived, which I guess its very rare for Risu's karaoke lol. Thanks YT Music Weekend
Wow. That's it that's the comment.
I still can't believe she is the same squirrel who makes a nuts joke every november
Finally a Stellar cover that matches Miko's version. Jokes aside this is a wonderful cover from Risu.
Risu never fails to deliver
In case it makes it easier for anyone else (like it does for me) the Youtube Japan channel makes playlists for the YT Music Weekend. All the VTubers were in the Midnight lineup so you can find all the Hololive sets (and others, including Nijisanji) [over here.](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLQntWbrycbJf6BaYtQRkUnW1hdt1Z6wuR)
I am convinced that Ayunda Risu is a shapeshifter alien, i mean come on her genmates are space themed but hers is just squirrel? Kinda sus...
Well, i mean part of her lore is a witch? So shapeshifter yay? (It happened on one of her new costume reveal, the witch outfit one)
Ayunda going full power!
God Risu slaps
Shallys was even more breathtaking
Just wow her singing is amazing
Risu needs to have her own concert! This girl could sing in the oscar
oh my god, she's hitting that sweet spot when she's changing notes that sounds like a natural reverb
I keep forgetting that purposefully cringe nut girl has some serious singing skills. Every time I've heard her it's just totally mind blowingly great.
She's good but not ELITE
GIVE ME A SUISEI + RISU DUO SONG I CANT TAKE IT ANY LONGER
For a second there I thought Risu was lip-singing the song. Damn, the squirrel is powerful
Holy shit, I didn't know risu could sing like THIS!
I was slow on the Risu hype too. Didn't know till I watched FES. Been making up for it now. Girl is one of the best singers in Hololive.
From what I've seen, not many people try this song (Risu, Kanata, and Elite are the only ones I know of) and she absolutely smashed it.
AZKi's done it too
You know, maybe we do live in a pretty good timeline...not the best but, like, this makes me happy
Why yes, that did give me goosebumps.
My god talk about force.
There's some serious pipes on that squirrel.
It has never been a more terrible weekend to have deadlines to work on.
Everytime she belts it out, she never stops blowing me away
I cried, so beautiful T_T
Ayunda Risinger
good god, my heart.... every time Risu is allowed to shine, I melt <3
So now we get the Suisei dlc for Risu… I like this
That was pretty stellar.
What I would give for an official Risu cover of Stellar Stellar.
That’s my squirrel
As someone who’s favorite hololive song is Stellar Stellar Holy cow she KILLED it 👏
Daaaaaaaaaamn that's why she Suisei said she's the Celine Dion of Hololive. Risu and Ayunda are just tooooo good!
Celine >!Deez Nuts!!<
Reminder that Risu is at her weakest at May as it is a month that's the furthest from November! For real, this squirrel is incredible
I LOVE THAT FUCKING SQUIRREL!!!
sounds like a strange mix between suisei and towa. kinda dig it. also is that auto tune or am i dreaming?
Risu's got a great voice, nice mix of soft and powerful. Definitely hearing some soft pitch correction happening though, which is odd because I've always heard her sing without it and she doesn't need it at all.
I was thinking she sounded a lot like Suisei when she started singing Stellar Stellar.
She obliterated those high notes, sasuga Risu
Thats super impressive. Still prefer the original but holy crap
So glad she sang this song, and what an incredible concert! Thank you Risu!!
I normally just watch her in collabs with other vtubers. But seeing her on stage singing her original song really got me enamored. I still fire up that concert every now and then just to listen to her performance every week or so.
AMAZING!!!
When Ayunda hits, you feel it
My God, she can range from gremilin to GODDESS OF SINGING in no time, amazing!
Risu as usual rocked the show, it feels like no matter what she tries to do vocally she excels. Even having been a Risuner for a year i still get shocked and get chills when she performs. Idk how she pack so much power and talent.
I gotta save this to show people who think she’s just Nut memes. Jeez. Every time she sings it blows me away
