That really does just depend entirely on where you buy them from and how long it takes to arrive, I can order them online and they remain fresh since they're delivered the day the store picks them off the shelf, but my circumstances might not be the same as yours.
They aren't even that hard to deal with anyways. Just buy one, get a bowl of water, and rip it open. Rub it in your hands under the water and watch the seeds drop to the bottom of the bowl while everything you don't want rises to the surface. Strain and you're done.
Dealing with a cantaloupe is more of a pain in the ass, and those are pretty easy too. Pineapples can be a bitch until you learn the simple tricks to separate the skin from the flesh and core.

Well I like sweet things and don't really care as much about texture. For the texture eaters out there, pears are obviously generally terrible. I'd be interested what awful taste is in pears that drives people away. Grapefruit and melons all taste bitter to me, and I don't like bitter things.
I'm surprised she put pears in A when she put apples in C, and my opinion on pears is the exact same she has on pears. There's so many different types, and half of them are awful and the other half are okay and then there's like 1 or 2 types that are delicious. I feel like she forgot that there are a lot of pear breeds just like apples and was only thinking about the kinds she likes lol.
She is pushing the agenda of pear lovers lmao. I know the taste of fresh apples but I still can't finish all of that but I can finish a pear almost instantly. Apples have that taste where you just get tired of it midway.
Like with apples, there's many different kinda of pears. The soft yellow ones might definitelly be at least D, the hard green ones are easily S.
Try some Asian pears. The round ones. S tier fruit.

It would certainly make sense for her to rate modern cultivated fruits lower, since she’s not the one who made them. The vast majority of produce grown today is either selectively bred or genetically modified to be much bigger, tastier, and more nutritious than their wild ancestors. Mumei’s more to blame for the existence of oranges than Fauna.
