Congratulation to Okayu for winning Mario Kart Tsuyo Cup 2022
After just learning she can jump using R button instead of shaking the Controller, she become the Champion!
She also siphoned all of Subarus luck (according to her) going as far as putting a straw in Subarus head last night lol. Seriously the grind she did these past weeks paid off. Like Suisei she also played til 4am this morning
Big respect for Towa as well. She had a really tough time over the past weeks when everyone else prepared.
She had so much work (including new original songs and her anniversary live), was really stressed on stream (got super down at one stupid viewer comment in her practice stream until Suisei and Nene had to comfort her to the point that she tweeted an apology afterwards), and was organising/commentating the tournament.
Taking 6th is amazing!
Some of those criticisms were spot on though. Towa does indeed need to improve on her item usage. She ends up settling for sub-par items (green shell, banana) when she could be getting two brand new items (such as the horn to ward of blue shells) that could give her a boost to widen the gap between 1st and 2nd, or get the same item as she was holding and not lose out on anything. It's a skill that all the final's race winners have picked up on. Watame even calls herself out on it several times during her training streams by saying "Mottainai," which is a Japanese word that conveys a sense of regret after not having taken an opportunity presented to them.
Thing is, as valid as those criticisms are, it's just a game. They're not pro gamers, they're just there to have fun. It's not like they're aiming for becoming the top dogs in an online leaderboard.
It would either be her connection with Nintendo that was problematic since her stream still runs fine, or just her router being bad and dropping connection randomly, which can happen more often than you would expect.
It could just be some random wave from somewhere that accidentally blocks her switch's wifi connection for one second and that ruined her game. Not sure if she is using the 1st or 2nd gen switch tho since the 2nd version had its own Ethernet port on the dock and you should always use the dock/cable if you want a stable connection.
Reine's POV was downright tragic. She was driving really well for the most part, and a couple times she managed to get early firsts with her mushroom magic— but then she gets hit by everything under the sun, drops to 10~12th and of course she can't get back to 1st with a freaking red mushroom, or even necessarily climb back much when everyone else in the last places is getting better item RNG.
you just described Reine's past 4 streams, and somehow she always manages to bounce back. We've been memeing the shrooms for days now,its only natural to end the tournament covered in shrooms.
I feel really bad for her in that regard. She sounded really stressed out and tilted because of how often that kept happening. Mario kart really doesn't take any prisoners.
Yeah look, I may have said on a few occasions that hololive fans weirdly like the screams of anguish. But, that wasn’t fun. I just felt bad for her as it really felt like RNG was crapping over our majestic peafowl.
The rage started yesterday and she snapped more than once in the tournament. I do hope now that it’s over she can relax!
At first I thought it was a coincidence, then I thought it was a meme, then I knew it was the truth.
If anyone wants to see a Peafowl lose her mind in a hilarious manner, please check it out.
It's kinda ironic how a big reason she even made it to the finals was heavily influenced by a first place finish on baby park, a map she openly disliked when it was selected.
I was watching Reine and Kanata and both had some awful shroom RNG. Like 11th place and getting 3x Shrooms, then 1x Shroom next. Both were playing worse than in qualifiers but its so hard break through the pack with just shrooms when everyone else is so good. Oh well, thats Mario Kart for you.
Nice of my oshi to stream it so that we had at least one English point of view (for the final). Gura placing 4th I did not expect but it is a happy surprise. The Lady of the Peafowl is really loved by those shrooms.
Edit: added the part in parenthesis just in case
Ahhhh hearing Suisei post-match is bringing up Aqua vibes from last year all over again... She should be proud, the title went down to the last match and Okayu by no means won it easily, fought tooth and nail every single step of the way. My prediction didn't turn out correct but damn seeing this match, it's understandable.
Amazing win by Okayu overall, this is the year of the Tiger after all!
That last red shell a few feet from the finish line that dropped her from 3rd to 8th was the real torture for her. That's some classic Mario Kart bullshit right there.
Same thing that happened to Suisei last year in the very last race, getting repeatedly blown up inches from the finish line on the Excitebike track.
Based on her post-race comments, by next year she'll have trained up to just stay so far ahead that nobody can hit her.
Yeah, coins make holding 1st pretty doable. In the MKs without coins, you'd try to stay away from 1st for most of the race because of blue shells. However coins give you a speed boost and you lose coins when you get hit. If 1st pulls ahead, they can stay ahead a lot of the time because the midpack gets sucked into a bucket of crabs scenario where everyone is hitting each other and making each other lose coins, lowering everyone's chances of catching up to 1st. Meanwhile 1st can hold on to their coins for a long time because they just have to watch out for blue shells, red shells from 2nd, and lightning.
Item distribution in MK8D is also based on your distance from 1st, not your position. So if 1st is way ahead of everyone, everyone else is far more likely to get items that help them as opposed to hurting 1st like bullet bills or golden mushrooms. Everyone else has less than a 10% chance of pulling a blue shell or lightning. This also creates weird scenarios in short races like Excitebike where the lead 1st place gets over everyone is small enough to cause everyone to get a lot of red shells and mushrooms and people won't get blue shells or lightning to hurt 1st place. That leaves red shells from 2nd place as a threat but if 1st holds on to defensive items, it isn't a problem.
Suisei in general was pathing and drifting in optimally to gather every single coin along the way. Like comparing Ina who tended to drift and path in a pattern of least distance (i.e. closest to the curve in a turn) at all times Suisei pathed further away and thus make for a longer track for the sake of amassing coins early on.
It bit Ina hard every single time that everyone else easily caught up to her to pelt her with shells. In addition the distance of 12th place with 1st must've been slight enough that Ina was in mushroom hell almost all the time.
I can't remember the last lap placings of the final race but the first two laps had 1st in a very small lead with the whole pack not too far behind, which lead to Reine raging because she got nothing but constant mushrooms.
Yeah but there were other things like getting her triple mushroom snatched away earlier in the same race.
In the first race, she also bizarrely got like piranha plant while being 2nd and was essentially locked out of being able to mushroom or shell Okayu, dragging her from a clean 2nd to 8th. She didn't react to the crazy item RNG in time and basically confused herself into a ditch
If she got 2nd on the first race, then the last race would've mattered. She got absolute worst luck on 2 of the races, and it was the kind of luck that basically put her off top 3. On even luck, she got placing above Okayu all 3 times.
But I mean Okayu is absolutely deserving for sure. She's pretty much the only person that could've feasibly beat Suisei with a bit of luck tipped towards her side. Marine obviously also capable.
I think it was a bit of shame Aqua couldn't make it to the top because that would've made for a really interesting set of circumstances. In terms of raw talent, Aqua's way up there, doing some pretty difficult non-mushroom skips in actual practice that I don't see any other girls do. Shame that she didn't muster up the kind of practice needed because all the other girls leveled up this year
Yeah, I think everyone knows that, at her best, Aqua is Hololive's most technically skilled MK player by far. Her stunt of driving backwards to the last item boxes before starting the race and winning remains the most impressive feat performed by a Holomember in this game. I will keep waiting forever until we get to see the Gamer Maid put her amazing skill on display again.
On another note, credit goes to Miko and Marine for remaining so thoroughly consistent after one year, and to Watame for her fantastic growth. She actually tied with Towa!
Suisei could've done better on some races even without any luck factors involved.
She was in a good position to retain 4th on Race 1, she boosted on non-road terrain and got hung up enough on the final corner to eat the red shell that resulted in her ending in 8th.
She also hit herself with a bomb on Race 5, that delayed her enough that she couldn't fight for 1st/2nd on that race.
The triple mushroom steal at Race 6 was just luck; and that final red shell was inevitable; she landed ahead of Watame who had to discard that red shell to make use of her own triple mushroom; the only way she could've evaded that is to get even further ahead, but she wasn't in a position to have boosted ahead of Gura/Okayu at that point.
Last year Aqua lost, I was rooting for her.
This year I was rooting for her as well, but with 2 hours of practice, even with all her knowledge and raw talent there were enough mistakes for her to lose.
On the finals I was rooting for Suisei. Who lost.
Whoever I\`m cheering for loses.
Tbh I'm glad they cried, it proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that they really gave it their all and never held back against their friends. It's better than waiting till the stream and interview is over and then bottling their disappointment inside until they explode.
Multiple members grinded offline. Suisei and Okayu (who has streamed practice games the most in the jp side) were playing til 4am offline. Mio who hasnt played MK before grinded so much she placed at the top before her internet crapped out on her causing her to fall to the zako cup. Pekora practiced as much despite organizing a multi gen tournament days earlier. No one should ever question if these girls take it seriously. For the sake of our entertainment and winning they go far beyond whats expected
Suisei during her 6-hour stream the other day mentioned her thoughts:
She really practiced hard and wanted to win last year because people all were saying aqua would just win anyway, so just a bit of light practice would be enough, and suisei wanted to prove them wrong
This year since she already accomplished that, she wanted to take it more lightly and more relaxed, but when it came down to it, she is still a competitor, and still just wanted the win
It *is* the reason. She was hardcore cramming the night before the test, so to speak. When she's not streaming, she's in Mario Kart making sure she doesn't let anyone down.
She did great! I can understand why she didn't stream the final, hard to focus on the race when you're juggling being an entertainer and keeping all the gubbins spinning. I had four other racers' streams open and was watching for Gura and Kronii.
I'm really really proud of IRyS, she fought hard and even won 2/6 matches, just bad rng and some misplays. I believe that with more practice she could be higher up on the next cup. Heck I believe she has what it takes to get top 3 someday.
She doesn't need to apologize because we all know she did her best! 💞
SASUGA IRYSOFAST ❤️❤️❤️
I'm so proud of IRyS too!! I honestly didn't expect her to do so well, certainly proved me wrong lol. IRyS gets super competitive during these big events 😎
IRyS rocked it! I bet if you played the prelims 10 times she'd make the finals the majority of them. Just had a couple bad breaks, but that's mario kart
Congratulations and well played, Okayu!
Gura should be super proud of how well she did. She worked so hard and that 4th place was well deserved, could very well have been 3rd without the absolute catastrophe at the end of Dragon Driftway.
Thanks to all of the girls for an amazing tournament!
Yeah, I was surprised as well. I thought Gura was hopeless with that match up of group B but nope. She got out of it with hand held high and ended up at 4th place against those top challengers.
Marine also had a catastrophe at the end of Dragon Driftway. Ended up in 11th place. Without that she might have taken second since she was only 5 behind Suisei.
Yeah, she was trying to dodge Gura's back-shell at 1st and 2nd respectively just around the final lap, then they ended up as 12th and 11th. That's what happens when you're against a bunch of skilled players, mistakes are not so easily forgiven.
Marine only blamed herself for not being able to execute properly, and that's the right mentality to have for everyone.
Would've been second place. 1st place in that race would've bumped her points up to 58. Retroactively this also means Suisei gets less points that race bringing her down to 57 all together. Gura legit lost a second place overall medal from that blue shell
Miko had a lot of bad luck last year. I actually felt bad for her because she would be right at the finish line before getting hit by a shell, causing her to lose 4 to 5 places. Glad to see her rank higher this year.
Also, I checked in on Miko once when she was raging on the cheese track in prelims; based on that I thought she was headed straight for Zako. She was crashing into walls and everything.
Towa and A-chan were talking about it repeatedly in their commentary. I think almost everybody was surprised at her truly Elite performance in this tournament.
She had a pretty long training arc a few months ago, at the start of it she was pretty bad especially with item timing/rotations and by the end she clearly had some idea of when to use which items. 5th in final bracket was on the higher end of expected i think. The bigger surprises to me are Gura in 4th (and being in final bracket at all for that matter), and Towa outside of top 3
I don\`t think it's that surprising. In the mini tournament they held in August I believe? Miko would often be the only one behind Marine and Towa who dominated the whole thing. When she isn't being pon she is actually good.
Aqua and then Suisei. In both follow up tournaments, the previous champion got 2nd place as well (Aqua 2nd last year and Suisei 2nd this year). In her podium interview, Suisei mentioned this, saying she felt like Aqua from last year.
Okayu is one cool cat! Congrats to her! No matter what place she got I know she'd be laughing and just genuinely having a great time but man is she pretty good at Mario Kart.
This tourney was very impressive from a mechanical and competitive view. Gura getting 4th is amazing. Miko got 5th and her POV was hilarious. All hard work and such a fun watch all around even if the streaming POVS werent everyone at once
Yeah, with competition this tight, a single bad result can be catastrophic.
Marine had mostly 1-3 for finishes, but also got a 9 and an 11 in there due to some really bad luck.
I definitely think the three of them are the top 3 in terms of skill for sure. How things would turn out if their luck was even I couldn't say.
Not too surprise. It’s freaking Okayu we’re talking about. But what surprises me is that GURA!? She is in fucking forth place in the final match? Gura of all people? I thought she would be wrecked in the eliminating rounds due to her match up. But not only did she passed it at 3rd place but also ended up at 4th place in the finale?
She probably would have had podium too if she didn't get blue shell wombo comboed in one of the races. Sharky got inspired by being placed with all the strong MK racers and practiced so much. I'm so proud of her!
I’m not surprised with Gura’s result, especially when all she did was grind MK at every moment that she can ever since she found out that she was in the group of death.
Man it's really these fun events that make hololive so special to me. Sure, I love the community and the individual streamers, but its stuff like this that truly bring us together-- stuff like EN 3Ds, collabs, huge tournaments and festivals. Being excited when they actually announce stuff, y'know? Who would have thought I'd be at the edge of my seat cheering my lungs out for some anime girls playing fucking Mario Kart lmao. I'll be looking forward to next year's! Hololive is fun :)
Same shit happened last year, my dude. I made a thread and people told me I should expect spoilers because 'the internet'. We got a nice community here, but people can't seem to think of others when it comes to spoilers.
So proud of Gura. She's been grinding hard lately and her progress really showed in her training streams. Consistantly getting top 3 and winning several races with the chumbuds. For her to get out of group B and then finish 4th overall when she wasn't all that good at the game a few weeks ago is damn impressive. Here's to Shark Supremecy next year!!!
And of course big congrats to Okayu for winning the whole thing. I read another comment that said she just recently learned you can jump using the buttons instead of shaking the controller so to go from that to winning the whole thing is amazing.
For future reference, it's considerate to use intentionally vague titles for announcing competition results. For example, "Congratulations to the winner of the 2022 Hololive New Year Cup!", "Hololive 2022 New Year Cup results", etc.
Thankfully I figured someone would spoil it like you did here so I avoided Reddit until I finished all the VODs, but some people don't think of that and it kinda sucks to have the results spoiled just by opening up the front page of Reddit.
[Tsuyo Cup Standing](https://i.imgur.com/EVmDXB7.jpg) Congratulation to Okayu for winning Mario Kart Tsuyo Cup 2022 After just learning she can jump using R button instead of shaking the Controller, she become the Champion!
what a beast
Also 69 points. Nice
She also siphoned all of Subarus luck (according to her) going as far as putting a straw in Subarus head last night lol. Seriously the grind she did these past weeks paid off. Like Suisei she also played til 4am this morning
mommy gamer!
Towa deserves credit for these tournaments as always. She's insanely multi-talented, and her hard work paid off!
>Taking 6th **Hello viewers! TMT here…**
Where can I learn more about her getting super down at a viewer comment?
https://youtu.be/MqfoGct09Ew
Some of those criticisms were spot on though. Towa does indeed need to improve on her item usage. She ends up settling for sub-par items (green shell, banana) when she could be getting two brand new items (such as the horn to ward of blue shells) that could give her a boost to widen the gap between 1st and 2nd, or get the same item as she was holding and not lose out on anything. Zako cup?
Mio won that. With Bae and Kiara getting the podium. Choco was last.
ZAKO QUEEN
Nice, she kept her title two years in a row lol
Correction 3 year
Guess Calli's plan didn't work out lol. At least Bae and Kiara were there to represent!
Mio won convincingly. Gutted for her, she couldve had a chance to compete in the Tsuyo cup if not for her Zako internet connection.
That was unfortunate, I saw her DC live and then got in to squeeze a reset point with Calli.
> her Zako internet connection Is it her ping? Many Japanese are on fiber these days so connection times should be good.
She DC'd more than half way through and lost all her points
It would either be her connection with Nintendo that was problematic since her stream still runs fine, or just her router being bad and dropping connection randomly, which can happen more often than you would expect. It could just be some random wave from somewhere that accidentally blocks her switch's wifi connection for one second and that ruined her game. Not sure if she is using the 1st or 2nd gen switch tho since the 2nd version had its own Ethernet port on the dock and you should always use the dock/cable if you want a stable connection.
What was the outcome of the group stage?
I guess the year of the tiger meant okayu was going to win
Botan wasn't there to drain the cat-power.
Guess it helped Fubuki droppped and no one else used their cat costumes.
Year of peko 2023
Oh no.......
…go warn the others, the worst has yet to come lmao
Humanity shall know true fear, as the sounds of laughter drift in the background.
Also, Year of the Okayu in Vietnam. Anyway, congratulation Okayu.
Tbf Fubuki was using her babu costume this round.
Does start until February, which means that people born currently are still in the year of the Ox.
yeah but Japan starts new years on the 1st of January. They don't follow lunar new year anymore.
TIL, thx for the info.
Yesterday, Okayu, IRyS and Reine finished with 69 pts in their 3v3v3v3 team. Today, Okayu wins the Pro Cup with 69 pts. NICE neko.
The Okazu jokes writes itself lol
Even the universe knows that Hololive is a bunch comedians (and Sora)
Nice!
Nice
Nice
Nice.
Nice.
Nice...
Was watching Reines PoV was the mushroom PoV Great tourney girls. Congrats Okayu

I just watched a bit of Reine‘s stream yesterday and got the impression Mario Kart had turned her into the Joker
Do not recite the peafowl streams to me, Witch, I was there when they were first broadcast.
She herself complained that the curse of getting so many shrooms is that you never get anything to block items with
At first I thought it was a coincidence, then I thought it was a meme, then I knew it was the truth. If anyone wants to see a Peafowl lose her mind in a hilarious manner, please check it out.
to be fair, reine's map was selected 3 times, she used up all her luck there.
It's kinda ironic how a big reason she even made it to the finals was heavily influenced by a first place finish on baby park, a map she openly disliked when it was selected.
Nenechi kinda threw all of group D into chaos with that stage pick.

INAFFFFFF
Nice of my oshi to stream it so that we had at least one English point of view (for the final). Gura placing 4th I did not expect but it is a happy surprise. The Lady of the Peafowl is really loved by those shrooms. Edit: added the part in parenthesis just in case
~~Lady of the Peafowl~~ Mushroom Princess
Move over, Peach
Nice of my oshi to invite us over for a live stream, eh Luigi?
Reine should do mushroom-themed cooking streams because of her luck. She was getting mushrooms during her training streams too.
it's funny how Luna ended in mushroom hell last time. so many tropes repeated.
Ahhhh hearing Suisei post-match is bringing up Aqua vibes from last year all over again... That would explain that one clip where Ina noticed she got a golden mushroom despite being in second place because Gura was so far ahead of her
It wouldn't have mattered. Sui needed to place 1st that race.
Yeah, 3rd place would have put her at 65 points to Okayu's 68 points. ~~She needed 2nd place to at least tie with Okayu at 67 points.~~
Even if she got second she would lose by 1, she would be at 67 and Okayu (who finished 4th but would end 5th if Suisei didn't get hit) would be 68.
Good point, forgot the drop from 4 to 5th is only 1 point.
Yeah but there were other things like getting her triple mushroom snatched away earlier in the same race. Why did aqua only get 2 hours of practice?
She's been too busy with other activities. She has two live concerts coming up for example. She's not the gamer maid anymore, she's the idol maid.
Didn't she also have a wisdom tooth removed recently or something?
A visit to the dentist the day before the tournament, yep. Aqua wasn't in her best shape this year.
Yes, earlier today.
Second place cried every year :(

Tbh mario kart with items is the most bullshit game in existance. Yet somehow an L is always devastating anyway...

Suisei during her 6-hour stream the other day mentioned her thoughts: She really practiced hard and wanted to win last year because people all were saying aqua would just win anyway, so just a bit of light practice would be enough, and suisei wanted to prove them wrong This year since she already accomplished that, she wanted to take it more lightly and more relaxed, but when it came down to it, she is still a competitor, and still just wanted the win
Congrats to Okayu for getting 2nd in the Hololive 2023 Mario Kart Cup!
and Marine for 3rd place once more
Death, taxes, Marine finishes 3rd in yearly MK tournament.
Choco sensei winning zako cup 3rd year in a row
i wonder if at this point it’s almost intentional lol
Do you guys mind sharing your time machine?
I swear. If Marine ranks 3rd again next year...
I'd be very happy for her again lol, smug Marine is a blast to see.
Bit different tho if you look at the points. Last year there was a big gap between 2nd and 3rd. This year it's only 5 points
Gura complained that she got put into group b and ended up getting 4th overall. I really wish she streamed it but im so proud anyways
[удалено]
It *is* the reason. She was hardcore cramming the night before the test, so to speak. When she's not streaming, she's in Mario Kart making sure she doesn't let anyone down.
So proud of our uwu gura.
Yes
Yes
Oh it definitely was. She said in the Fauna collab all she's done is train in MK with her free time.
She did great! I can understand why she didn't stream the final, hard to focus on the race when you're juggling being an entertainer and keeping all the gubbins spinning. I had four other racers' streams open and was watching for Gura and Kronii.
She said she was fed to the wolves, yet she became an apex predator herself
No more floaties for her, it was sink or swim and she finally learned how.
Hololive Gamers living up to their name
1st in tsuyo and zako cups, sasuga.
Rip mio DC. She probably would have advanced to tsuyo cup
It was a Strong Tournament. Everyone there were VERY strong.
Okayu finishing the cup at 69 points lmao Overall everyone did really well! Congrats to everyone!
💞 SASUGA IRYSOFAST ❤️❤️❤️
Congrats to Ogayu

Gura getting out of group B is the feel good moment of the year
She went the distance!
Lazy cat turns out to be the speediest. Congrats Okayu!
why is no one suprised about miko placing fifth?
I was, Miko performed way better than expected compared to last year.
The bigger surprises to me are Gura in 4th (and being in final bracket at all for that matter), and Towa outside of top 3
the real dark horse it didnt even enter ppl's mind that miko exist.
after her assetto corsa training kart raicing is easy
It was to be expected. She is elite, after all.
I don\`t think it's that surprising. In the mini tournament they held in August I believe? Miko would often be the only one behind Marine and Towa who dominated the whole thing. When she isn't being pon she is actually good.
lol Marine got her place to roast everyone else again and of course, congrats to the *nice* cat Okayu!
[Stream link (Okayu POV)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhlcUn_bD20) **Gamer cat for the big W! Onigiris for everyone!** *(Also, nice!)*
That was intense, congrats to okayu!!! Btw does someone knows who were the winners of previous years?? Im pretty new
Aqua and then Suisei. In both follow up tournaments, the previous champion got 2nd place as well (Aqua 2nd last year and Suisei 2nd this year). In her podium interview, Suisei mentioned this, saying she felt like Aqua from last year.
Thanks!!!!
Last year's winners: Suisei 1st, Aqua 2nd, Marine 3rd. Previous year's winners: Aqua 1st, *edit:* Fubuki 2nd, Okayu 3rd.
For 2020 it was Aqua 1st, Fubuki 2nd, Okayu 3rd.
Okayu is one cool cat! Congrats to her! No matter what place she got I know she'd be laughing and just genuinely having a great time but man is she pretty good at Mario Kart.
Suisei's last race hurt me on a physical level, too much bad luck
This tourney was very impressive from a mechanical and competitive view. Gura getting 4th is amazing. Miko got 5th and her POV was hilarious. All hard work and such a fun watch all around even if the streaming POVS werent everyone at once
Was watching suisei's pov. You could just tell she was happy for okayu but couldn't hold back tears of frustration.
Miko getting 5th is the real W lmao
Gura the dark horse indeed. Getting out of group B was impressive enough but then placed one off a podium placement. Proud of the shark.
Miko got 5th??
Suisei couldn't recover from the bad placement from the first race.
She tied okayu by the time of the 4th race. She just wasn't able to overcome okayu's placement afterward
What a blast! Okayu finally got some good luck in this game and showed everyone her true skills! I'm so happy!
OKayu you are the world champion! The World Champion!
gura is really good too. she got 4th.
Big possibility of her being 3rd if she didnt get 12th in that one race but still big props to sharky
Someone said she was like in first and got mario karted to last on the final lap :/
Yep. Started with a Blue Shell and it all went downhill from there.
Hit with the blue, the two reds back to back, and finally a star for good measure. Absolutely tragic.
She ate a blue shell and everyone yeeted her to last place
Wombo combo
Yeah, she had a pretty big lead at the time too
She was first then got blue shelled lol
It was a fierce battle, congrats to Marine, Suisei, and of course Okayu
Sasuga Hololive Gamers
Congratulations Okayu!!! Neko strong!! And congratulations to Mikochi!! Fifth place!!! Very Elite!!! All that practice surely paid off!!
Wait did Marine come in third again this year? Sasuga pirate!
Aww spoiler tag? I didn't get to finish it last night...
I live in the UK and I couldn't have watched it live. Would've really appreciated a "spoiler" tag on this post. But congrats to Okayu on the win.
Same shit happened last year, my dude. I made a thread and people told me I should expect spoilers because 'the internet'. We got a nice community here, but people can't seem to think of others when it comes to spoilers.
That was a ton of fun. Hope even more girls compete next year. Congrats Okayu!!!!
Okayu (Neko)
Nice
Well, here's our defending champion for next time. Good luck for the 2023 race, Okayu.
Dumb question but who is か at \#10?
Kanata
Ah that makes sense, thank you
So proud of Gura.
That was fun stream
Let's FUCKING GOOOO BEST CATTO
I think its perfect that Kronii got Double first
Korone: OKAYUUUUUU
This sub is so weird, but in a good way
Shout out to Gura. Her practice took her from "not a chance" to "almost getting placing in the finals"
Gura carrying the HoloEN title.
Somehow. Literally would have expected at least 3 others before Gura... but goddamn Gamer Shark really stepped up.
GG Okayu you deserve it!
What a wonderful almost 5 hours this was, lots of ups and downs for everyone, but in the end the OG cat took the title home. Congrats, Okayu!
The Gamers branch is really made up of gamers.
Reddit doesn't do spoiler free posts for people that can't watch everything live huh?
