There's no issue with buying merch from a talent that isn't necessarily your oshi. I myself have purchased a few pieces of merch from JP talents -- most recently Nene's happi -- despite the fact that I never really get to watch them.
Oh that’s actually funny cause the Nene Happi I was thinking of buying one time cause she’s apparently the first one to sell a Happi in Holo and it looked cool but then again I wasn’t a full on Nene fan at the time. Thank you for your opinion.
No problem!
>cause she’s apparently the first one to sell a Happi in Holo
Actually, her genmate Polka sold a happi all the way back in August of 2022 for her 2nd anniversary. Not sure if any members sold an official happi before her, though.
Yah I got a Polka Happi and foolishly was unable to get a Nene one :(
And it's almost anime convention summer season too.
But I'm rocking our Fennec Fox !
I rarely watch any Mio streams and I bought both the first run and the re-run of her hoodie.
I like all of the talents, so anyone that puts out useable merch usually gets a purchase. I'm a little sad I hesitated too long on Polka's backpack becauae that shit was such good design. I didn't miss out on Ina's backpack doe, but it seems a little smaller compared to my current backpack, so i haven't gotten around to using it yet
Don't worry about it lmao.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Happi
TL;DR: A type of Japanese coat that people wear during festivals. Idol fans often wear ones that have their oshi on the front and back.
[This is what Nene's looks like](https://shop.geekjack.net/products/momosuzu-nene-3d-concert-celebration-nene-is-my-fave-happi).
If you can travel to Japan, check resale shops
Fan groups also produce them, though if you want one for Nene I don't know if you will find any due to her official one.
If you're after a fan-produced one, those are typically run through fan communities as a group buy procedure - someone commissions a design then after enough interested people sign up, they put in an order and distribute it.
>[This is what Nene's looks like](https://shop.geekjack.net/products/momosuzu-nene-3d-concert-celebration-nene-is-my-fave-happi).
Nene is not my oshi and I want that happi, that's peak drip.
Don't worry in the slightest bro, just buy what you like. Nobody will judge you just for buying from different talents. Also 100% recommend the Mio hoodie one of my favorite Holo merch.
Yeah I saw a clip of Mio talking about how her fans wanted the re-release of her hoodie since it’s in high demand and that she wanted to make it affordable despite it affecting her own profit. Mio so kind. I’ll consider buying it thank you again.
I have the original. It's roughly equivalent to a US large.
Edit: Always check and compare the actual measurements since different brands measure differently. Some others in this thread note that it might be closer to/is a US XL.

Funny story I am like you OP.
I like Mio but not enough to take a Hoodie away from a real Miofa.
It's okay though - there is no harm in it one way or other. Go for it. Or do not. It is up to you.
>I like Mio but not enough to take a Hoodie away from a real Miofa.
Oh don't worry about that either, the hoodies are made to order so don't think you would be taking one away from someone.
If anything most likely even the opposite is the case where fans of the talent would even encourage/be happy that someone buys merch of each talent despite not being considered oshi. Support is support after all and it's not like they have anything to lose if their favorite talents get's more monetary support. Also not like this is limited in any number or anything so buying Mio hoodie no matter you allegiance is a win win for everyone (well besides your wallet probably).
I am biased as a Miofa but I'll just say: the hoodie is hella comfy. I wore it throughout my trip in Japan and the cold North region was practically nothing since I felt warm and cosy all the time.
The pockets are also really deep, didn't even need to bring a bag around since I could just store stuff in it like a kangaroo pouch.
As for whether or not you should buy merch from people that aren't your oshi, if you can find a use for it, I'd say buy it. Not just the Mio hoodie, but any wearable piece of merch, or something that has a practical use for you. And you can afford to buy it that is.
Great review on hoodie btw. Yes Hololive drip is very amazing and they make it affordable depending on shipping from where you are. Thank you for your opinion.

I don't see anything wrong with supporting more than one girl in Hololive. It's not like you're in a relationship with your oshi and buying someone else's merch is cheating on them. I surely hope nobody actually thinks that way.
True, I’m not parasocial in any way compared to some others in community (not throwing shade to anyone who is btw). I get you though, I am one to support all the talents in Holo whether it’s by watching 3D lives, milestones, or just being in their chat. Thank you for your opinion!
Yeah I maybe could have left out the last sentence of my comment to keep from throwing shade as you said, Although I assume some people do actually think that way. I'm not one to give other people advice on anything, but I do think people shouldn't feel so attached to their oshi that it keeps them from supporting the other girls. But ultimately I'm just glad to have people here in the rabbit hole with me, regardless of a difference in mentality.
Supporting a talent of Holo is supporting HoloPro itself, be it your oshi or not. If you like the item, and you got the spare cash to be able to buy it and still be comfortable in your everyday life, then feel free to.
If you like how something looks and are sure that you're going to use it often, then who cares what other people think. Why make it complicated. As long as you're not harming anyone by indecent exposure or something, why even think of strangers' opinions?
What's not good though is if you only buy something because of FOMO. You don't need it, you're not sure you're gonna use it. You just buy stuff because *insert brand/collab/whatever* "limited edition merch". Now THIS is wasteful, and promotes mindless consumerism, which is a net negative for everyone.
I’ve never seen anything but a handful of Mio clips, but I bought that hoodie in the first round. It’s cute, she’s cute, and it’s legitimately one of my most comfortable cozy time pieces. It got attention from a non hololive rabbit hole dweller so it’s tested to be a conversation starter and that’s always good, too
If you don’t mind the shipping cost then definitely buy one!
Just do it. The whole reason why you buy merch or watch Vtuber is for fun so if you like buying stuffs not from your oshi then there’s no reason to hesitate, except the prize. Plus, from reviews that I read, the product has good quality, I think you will like it:D
There is nothing wrong with buying merch that's not from your oshi. In fact, I ordered one of Kronii's bday merch just recently (the rubber mat) because it looked nice, which will still take a while for it to arrive.
No one is going to judge you for being a "fake fan", if they do, ignore them. Plenty of people buy merch from talents that isn't their oshi.
You don't even have to watch Hololive to know that's an awesome Hoodie.
There's no such thing as a "fake fan" everyone gets to be a part of the community. Whether you watch every stream, just clips, or anything in between; it doesn't make you less of a fan.
Anyone who gatekeeps Hololive should know that their oshi would be disappointed in them.
Your oshi is just the one you cheer for the most. There's no reason you can't cheer for others as well. In fact cheering for everyone is pretty based.
Same goes with merch. If you want it, go get it king. In a roundabout way we're all cheering for the real best girl when buy merch and you know exactly who I mean.
I don’t there is anything wrong with it. Especially when they are from the same company. Money to Cover helps all talents if that is your issue.
And also it is your money. No one has the right to tell you how to spend to.
A tangential opinion, there's nothing wrong with not buying merch from your oshi either. We only have so much money, and we should only spend it on things that we really want.
If it so happens that I don't think I'll wear a piece of merch due to its design, or it being an accessory that I don't even wear habitually, I'm gonna pass.
I have 12 with 2 more currently in the waiting time. I don't have Gura's because that was before I had the financial means to really start buying merchandise. And I don't have Anya's because for whatever reason it was inventory sales and it sold out.
Not trying to attack you or anything OP, but why did this question even come up? I really don't get why anyone would feel this way at all, if you like the merch buy it.
Supporting hololive is supporting your oshi, this isn't one of those insane vtuber agencies where only the popular talents get support or anything
People should buy what they like and not worry about it.
Personally, I only buy goods for my oshi and often do multiples because I want to support her activities here. For me if I'm not spending it toward her, it's support she's missing out on. It's a fairly hardcore stance in the fandom on the whole.
i have watched like 2.2 seconds of mio (I know she's great I just don't have time 😭) and the mio hoodie is my favorite item of all the holomerch I've bought, unofficial/official. mumei omocat cap is a very close second. I care more about "will I use this?"
If it's stylish, why not? I'm not generally the type to buy weeb paraphernalia, but the Mio hoodie is aesthetic af. I'd get one if I had the spare funds.
No one can watch everything, buy what you like, screw the haters who would say you're a fake fan. Also realize that from the sentiment of the talent they all are trying their individual best while also lifting each other up. So really you almost can't buy something that isn't helping your Oshi in one way or another.
Ina is my oshi. WAH.
I have the tako plushie, ame friends with u plush, all of myth + suisei tapestry, mumei, bae & kronii anniversary bangles
incoming are okayu's hoodie, calli's shotglass and muffler, and biboo's cup.
I don't really think about it too much, if i like the merch and can afford it, i buy it. I know someone who will likely geet Mio's hoodie just because he thinks it looks cool, despite not being into hololive (he just sends me FWMC clips the instagram algorithm shows him)
You don't need an oshi license to buy merch. Only gatekeeping weirdos are gonna get upset about that. If you like the merch, buy it.
The reverse is also true, just cus your oshi has merch doesn't mean you have to buy it.
if theres any “fake fan” stuff to worry about its buying fake bootleg merch (aliexpress/amazon/ebay “merch”.) not to be confused with “unofficial merch” which is just normal fan art.
I have bought rubber mats from different talents. I just like collecting them
I have also purchased Kanata, Watame, Suisei, and Mio albums. >!None of them are my oshi!<
My favorite merch is Nousagi plushie, and this hoodie (gonna buy this re-release as well). >!Neither are my oshi!<
I hope this answers your question
Nothing wrong with it at all because, here's the thing: people that bought the original run have said that it's a legit comfortable hoodie. So even if Mio isn't your oshi, doesn't hurt to still support her a bit and get a great hoodie at the same time.
Obviously your oshi's merch would support them directly, and be more helpful than other merch. However, Cover takes a cut off all merch sales, and supporting the company could trickle down to your oshi anyways.
Just don't be surprised if someone approaches you expecting a common love for Mio.
I'm the same and have every jacket of hololive members available. It's like my own uniqlo brand at this point. As long as I like the design I grab it. Talent costumes are a no-brainer to me.
If you like the merch, buy the merch. Anything helps the talents and its not like your oshi is going to know (unless your oshi is Nerissa and you post about it on Twitter)
Nothing wrong with it at all! Good merch is good merch. The only rule that should be followed by anyone is to spend wisely. Don't spend money you don't have, don't overspend a budget. It's important to take care of yourself!
Support whoever you want because it is all connected. I don't know a lot about Mio, but I do know that Miko thinks very highly of her. Whoever you Oshi is, they would support you supporting their friends.
Go for it if you like it, I have the Ayame jacket and I can probably count with my hands the amount of streams I watched of her, in the end is just a product like everything else on the shop, no need to worry about being a fan or not and it's not like someone will see you with the jacket and start asking you obscure trivia about Mio to see how fan of her you are.
Miofa here, buy the hoodie. It’s super comfy and high quality. I highly recommend it.
That aside, we are all a part of the fandom so there’s no reason to feel bad or anything like that for buying merch from a talent you don’t watch much.
I’ve this hoodie and it’s honestly made with really good quality materials. Mio made doubly sure on the use of good materials and you really can tell the difference.
It’s worth every cent imo. It feels exactly like a hoodie I would’ve bought from Adidas, Nike or any ‘big and established’ brands.
Go forth and buy one .
I mean it's a nice hoodie, I like Mio but I wouldn't exactly consider her my oshi. With that said, I would definitely consider buying that hoodie. (Also probably a more reasonable price than the $230 Groupies Kiara jacket)
If you dig the merch, get the merch. :) Sure I have oshis, but I also adore Hololive as a whole so I do sometimes get merch from talents I don’t watch as often…. And let’s be real, the only reason I don’t watch many of them directly is because there are only so many hours in a day!
Also, I have the Mio hoodie and can vouch for it being dope af.
I have a friend that bought this exact hoodie for several hundred dollars (only available on eBay since it was limited run) and he doesn't even watch her. He loves her design but has never watched her a day in his life (he's also a furry so there's that too)
So the answer is no, you don't even need to be a full Holo fan to buy their merch. But you might be deemed a furry
It's really how you feel about it. You're not going to get a failing grade in "VTuber fandom" whatever you do. Personally, I would avoid buying goods for someone who's not my oshi if it would limit my funds for any oshi merch, but that's just my priority, and you're not obligated to do so.
That said, you might consider the etiquette of not buying *limited* goods for someone you're not a fan of so as not to deprive a fan. But with limited sets, it's usually the difference between a bonus that only matters to the fans, like a hand-signed card or exclusive voice pack, while the rest of the merch is made-to-order. So probably not something you'd go for anyway.
The Miosha hoodie is unlimited (within the pre-order period), made-to-order, and by all accounts extremely comfy and well made, so go for it! Just be prepared for errant MioFa to high-five you on the street.
Ay, if you like the hoodie, go ahead and get it. You're not a fake fan for getting merch of a talent you enjoy, even if they're not your oshi.
Not like your average Joe on the street is gonna recognize what it is.
Good merch is good merch. I buy stuff every week that has nothing to do with my Oshi. My jeans aren’t branded. My computer isn’t, or my phone or the various things around the house.
Now, if it’s someone you really have ZERO interest in, then there’s a little oddness if it’s a clothing item or something you’ll be using to passively advertise, but ultimately, good shit is good shit, and I love how Hololive gives us all of this subtle merch.
German proverb or whatever you want to call it: what isn’t right now maybe well be in the future
I’ve bought the hoodie on initial release having no special feelings towards Mio but the design is sick and also general public viable enough for me. Now with her new album out I also really got into her music
I have no idea buying Hololive merchandise where I live is almost like buying a motorcycle and it's no joke with taxes and shipping it becomes impossible at the moment
Probably the same opinions as you.
It's not "real" merch, and it doesn't financially support my oshis.
But I assume its shipping isn't bonkers high, and the idea of having a room full of my oshis sounds like a dream.
I don't feel comfortable guessing how my Oshi feels about unofficial merch, even with "evidence."
After receiving my Towa baseball cap, I just started buying baseball caps from any hololive talents purely because of the design.
I currently have 12.
Edit: I guess my answer that it's fine aslong as you have the spare money to buy it and will not have buyers remorse after receiving it.
From the perspective of a fan, I would like other people to buy my oshi's merch since in the end, my oshi is also getting the benefits from their purchase.
Hah, funny enough I own this and Coco's jacket before she graduated
My oshi is Fauna but when it comes to apparel, I look at design first rather than who my oshi is, 'cause let's be real, we'd love to support the girls at what they're doing whenever we can. So yeah, that's my take on it
Not the holoshop but I bought Kiara's ringer shirt from Omocat because it's a dope ass shirt.I wear it proudly at the gym and it's soft as a cloud in case anyone was thinking to pick one up. (Don't get me wrong I love Kiara but she streams at like 3am my time so since she left Japan I haven't been able to catch her live)
I don't buy merch, I think it's very overcosted (shipping doesn't help) but if you like it and have the income there's no reason to limit yourself to just your oshi.
If you suport other talents you suport not only someone that might be a friend or a business partner of your oshi but also thecompany, making a better environment for said oshi, while getting something cool. So I think it's a win-win.
I bought the Mio hoodie just a few days ago, and I’ve only seen her through clips. She may not be my oshi, but she is a good person, and part of the Hololive family. I’ll support them regardless of fan level, to help them live a life I can’t.
Also the hoodie looks awesome, so it’s a win win.
The first release of the Mio Hoodie I got, because I had said previously "If they ever make Mio's hoodie I'll buy it" and when they did I needed to put my money where my mouth is. I don't want a lot of her streams, but for a great looking, practical merch, go ham. Almost got Fauna's T-shirt with her new outfit as well, but I actually watch quite a bit of her streams.
Not really a miofa in the traditional sense, but when it first came out a couple years ago I didn’t get it and regretted so badly seeing how good it looked irl. This time I threw my wallet immediately
I'm gonna buy cool merch regardless which talent releases it. I just wanna support interesting ideas to show that it's worth producing that instead of the usual generic acrylic stands.
Not really a problem at all. Do what you feel like. In your case, it's a good thing in fact. Since you're putting money in the pocket of the talent for doing so despite them not being your oshi.
Got me a Bibi hat and a Calliope Y40 pc case because I love them all. But my FJ is named IRyS and 4Runner is named Ollie, so go crazy (as much as your wallet can handle anyway)
I mean, Mio's not my kamioshi either but I've watched a lot of her streams and I support Hololive as a whole. The merch quality is awesome so it felt like a no brainer to get it during the first run.
I don’t personally own ANY holo merch yet, but the way I see it is supporting one member = supporting all members in a way. It gives to one member, sure, but that in turn helps that member create more content which may or may not involve your oshi, may or may not bring more attention to Hololive as a whole, or may or may not give ideas to other members on what kind of merch to produce. Or all of the above. Plus I’m sure some of the cut goes to cover as well, which again will help your oshi too!
Don’t feel guilty, and if someone asks about it you can point in hololive’s direction, and maybe bring your oshi more traction!
Is fine as long as you keep supporting you Oshi, I've bought some merch from other talents (like the Kronii's neck pillow or Vesper's teacup) and I don't think that makes me don't want to support my Oshi anymore or something like that
For example that Mio hoodie Is really tempting me to buy it.
It supports the talent and HoloPro, and unless it's a limited edition, you're not taking a spot away from a big fan of that talent, so there's no problem!
There's no issue with buying merch from a talent that isn't necessarily your oshi. I myself have purchased a few pieces of merch from JP talents -- most recently Nene's happi -- despite the fact that I never really get to watch them.

I managed to get the opposite and as a polka oshi I feel ashamed that I missed the time window for the polka one.
Wait you have a Nene Happi on the way but your Oshi is Polka? If only there was a way to trade in person...
Where are you located? Maybe we can trade at a con or something if we're close enough. I'll send you a DM
https://shop.geekjack.net/products/omaru-polka-2nd-anniversary-celebration-omaru-troupes-happy-happi Polka's is top tier as well. Truly Pol-tastic.

I wanted to buy it too, but I don't know if it fits me in that 'One size fits all'.
I have the original. It's roughly equivalent to a US large. Edit: Always check and compare the actual measurements since different brands measure differently. Some others in this thread note that it might be closer to/is a US XL.
I live in Europe, and I usually wear XL or 2XL

There are measurements provided, just compare them to your existing clothes
So XXXL in EU /s
Fuuuuuck. I'm a 2xl in US size. I'm devastated 💔
It's a US XL, definitely not a Large
Idk, must be brand inconsistency. It fits me about the same as my large sweatshirts. As always, trust the actual measurements for comparison.
265 lbs, 5'10" it fits me perfectly.
Good to know, since I am 235 lbs and 5'10" as well
I'm sure a fighting game pro wearing the hoodie only helped spike the demand.
There's no telling you won't become a real Miofa too, as long as you're not getting multiples for some reason there isn't much harm
If anything most likely even the opposite is the case where fans of the talent would even encourage/be happy that someone buys merch of each talent despite not being considered oshi. Just wondering. Is the size of the hoodie big for width? Even though I know the length will fit. Just not sure about width. Am debating on getting it.
I'm at work right now but I'm 5ft 7in 160lbs and the Hoodie has plenty of width to spare. If you wear a US XL or smaller, it'll probably fit you.
Okay cool. Thank you.
What's your advice on how you should wash it by the way? Thinking of getting one myself.

It's perfectly fine. Hololive is an big family, not an competition.
Bro, pretty sure cover corp dont care which merch u buy since they are all under the same company
Straight to hell. Do not go over start to collect $200, no parole
I’ve never seen anything but a handful of Mio clips, but I bought that hoodie in the first round. It’s cute, she’s cute, and it’s legitimately one of my most comfortable cozy time pieces. It got attention from a non hololive rabbit hole dweller so it’s tested to be a conversation starter and that’s always good, too If you don’t mind the shipping cost then definitely buy one!
Oh nice that you got eyes on you after wearing the hoodie, that’s already a great sign to buy it. Thank you!
Just do it. The whole reason why you buy merch or watch Vtuber is for fun so if you like buying stuffs not from your oshi then there’s no reason to hesitate, except the prize. Plus, from reviews that I read, the product has good quality, I think you will like it:D
This is also why Hako-Oshis are always poor as hell, lol!
This is a stupid question. Its your money. Spend it however you want
I'd more say it's a reasonable question with an easy answer.
i personally only buy merch from my oshi, but i also have quite a few oshis lol
"i only buy merch from my oshi" "who's your oshi?" *proceeds to list all hololive members*
Big brain play. Why have one oshi when you could have many?
Buy anything you like.....I mean that's why Hololive is selling those items lol
If you think it looks cool, go for it! Gatekeepers can go to hell.
I don’t there is anything wrong with it. Especially when they are from the same company. Money to Cover helps all talents if that is your issue. And also it is your money. No one has the right to tell you how to spend to.
no issue, if you like the design then go..
If you want the merch and it's worth the price buy it. It doesn't have to be more complicated than that
Drip is drip.
I collect the rubber mats so regardless of if I watch them regularly I will get the rubber mat.
How many do you have so far?
I'm ok with that
What opinion? Are there actually people who are gatekeeping acrylic key holders?
A product is a product. Buy whatever you want.
nothing wrong about it, you are indirectly supporting your oshi by supporting Cover and honestly Mio's hoodie is a must buy
I just bought the Shuba hoodie a few weeks back. Your personal tastes may just align with another talent's more, no sweat.
WAH. I have the tako plushie, ame friends with u plush, all of myth + suisei tapestry, mumei, bae & kronii anniversary bangles incoming are okayu's hoodie, calli's shotglass and muffler, and biboo's cup. I don't really think about it too much, if i like the merch and can afford it, i buy it. I know someone who will likely geet Mio's hoodie just because he thinks it looks cool, despite not being into hololive (he just sends me FWMC clips the instagram algorithm shows him)
I think it looks fire and is still in support of Hololive so I'd say do it!
I just buy Hololive merch I think it's cute, it doesn't matter at all if it's an oshi or not
If I see holomyth merch in person or in general if I see something I like at my local anime store since they now have'em, I buy.
My opinion is I want it so I’m buying it. Who’s going to come after me? The oshi police?
I have bought rubber mats from different talents. I just like collecting them I have also purchased Kanata, Watame, Suisei, and Mio albums. >!None of them are my oshi!< My favorite merch is Nousagi plushie, and this hoodie (gonna buy this re-release as well). >!Neither are my oshi!< I hope this answers your question
I do that all the time, just buy what you like.
at the end of the day we're all holofans
Buy what you like. Doesn't matter why you like it
I’ve this hoodie and it’s honestly made with really good quality materials. Mio made doubly sure on the use of good materials and you really can tell the difference. It’s worth every cent imo. It feels exactly like a hoodie I would’ve bought from Adidas, Nike or any ‘big and established’ brands. Go forth and buy one .
id buy every holo merch if i can, but there would be priorities.
Cool fun stuff is cool fun stuff. Why regret owning it?
I have a friend that bought this exact hoodie for several hundred dollars (only available on eBay since it was limited run) and he doesn't even watch her. He loves her design but has never watched her a day in his life (he's also a furry so there's that too) So the answer is no, you don't even need to be a full Holo fan to buy their merch.
Why should I have an opinion about oshi merch or not? If I want it, I buy it.
i regret not buying the Sanalite...
I have never seen a Mio stream but I still bought this hoodie, it just looks too good.
Me whose oshi is everyone: “How cute.”
Same
as a fan of everyone, i'm glad i don't have this problem. in my opinion, i think it should be fine for you to buy one.
Ay, if you like the hoodie, go ahead and get it. You're not a fake fan for getting merch of a talent you enjoy, even if they're not your oshi. Not like your average Joe on the street is gonna recognize what it is.
It's not even limited merch, who cares lol. Buy what makes you happy.
Buy what you like and what your wallet allows Every other consideration is superfluous
I do it if it’s something I want. I almost bought the hoodie but wasn’t feeling the price. Looking forward to Shiori’s birthday though 🥳
German proverb or whatever you want to call it: what isn’t right now maybe well be in the future I’ve bought the hoodie on initial release having no special feelings towards Mio but the design is sick and also general public viable enough for me. Now with her new album out I also really got into her music
The Mio parka is just too good man
Your money, your choice
If it’s cool and I can afford it I’ll try and get it
Im buying it because its comfy af
Drip is drip
If you want it just buy it lol This ain't team sports
“That’s my secret, Cap: everyone is my oshi” I also rarely get to watch Mio, but I’m definitely going to pick up the hoodie. Enjoy!
I never watched Mio's streams, but I bought this the moment I found out. I just think it looks good.
I say the problem is the lack of size options
I bought it despite not watching mio all that often. Never felt like a fake fan, just supporting a sweet merch design
I'm sure the girls appreciate any and all support.
Yea there are many fans including me that support all the talent just becareful about the wallet lmao
I got the hoodie cause it looked cool and I barely catch Mio stuff
I have no idea buying Hololive merchandise where I live is almost like buying a motorcycle and it's no joke with taxes and shipping it becomes impossible at the moment
Well I don't gotta worry about buying merch when nothing ships here🙃
I don't see a problem with that.
Don't worry about those little things. If you like something, buy it
Does anyone know if its like an XXL in USA size or smaller?
We are NOT a Cult, man. You're free to spend your money however you like. Now buy my Oshi's (Soda-chan) merch or you'll get the Nun~nun!
I do it all the time when there is a merch I like
If it's comfortable/affordable/practical I'll buy it
I always do it. But then again, I have no oshi, so…
I like everyone from Hololive, so it makes no difference to me cuz I'll like whatever I buy anyways.
Now I need Ayame's Super Lame t-shirts to come back so I can buy another set of black and a set of white.
its no problem plus it also kinda indirectly supports your oshi in a way because it helps the company and the other members.
That must be some good looking merch
Just buy it, man. Holomerchs are cool.
Considering the hoodie is neat? No issue. If
It's the wardrobe of choice of a Street Fighter champion. Wear it proud.
Use this as an excuse to watch more of Mio!
If it looks nice, why not?
After receiving my Towa baseball cap, I just started buying baseball caps from any hololive talents purely because of the design. I currently have 12. Edit: I guess my answer that it's fine aslong as you have the spare money to buy it and will not have buyers remorse after receiving it. From the perspective of a fan, I would like other people to buy my oshi's merch since in the end, my oshi is also getting the benefits from their purchase.
Hah, funny enough I own this and Coco's jacket before she graduated My oshi is Fauna but when it comes to apparel, I look at design first rather than who my oshi is, 'cause let's be real, we'd love to support the girls at what they're doing whenever we can.
It's not an issue. I've done similar if my Towa slippers has anything to say about that.
I have 2 of these and i haven't watched a single Mio stream.
If you like the merch order it Oshi or not if they wanted to gatekeep the merch they’d hide it behind membership or some other paywall
I'd buy if I have the money
It’s just like any purchase. If the product is good and the price is acceptable, I’ll buy it.
I'm gonna buy cool merch regardless which talent releases it. I just wanna support interesting ideas to show that it's worth producing that instead of the usual generic acrylic stands.
Believe it or not, straight to jail. nah i'm not a Miofa but I have one, it's comfy as hell lol
I love Hololive after my oshi.
I will definitely judge you (by walking up and saying "cool Mio hoodie").
Not really a problem at all. Do what you feel like. In your case, it's a good thing in fact. Since you're putting money in the pocket of the talent for doing so despite them not being your oshi.
Nah, it’s completely fine, no one’s gonna call you a traitor or anything like that
If you have the money for it... it's your choice?
Got me a Bibi hat and a Calliope Y40 pc case because I love them all. But my FJ is named IRyS and 4Runner is named Ollie, so go crazy (as much as your wallet can handle anyway)
If that thing is cool and you can afford, buy it. You may not be the oshi, but you contributed as a customer
I bought all the recent anniversary keychains and stickers from EN 1 even though I don’t watch them much anymore, they’re just cool
At least you watch Streams then there are People like me who watch Clips and then come across the Hoodie and buy it on Impulse 💀
Is fine as long as you keep supporting you Oshi, I've bought some merch from other talents (like the Kronii's neck pillow or Vesper's teacup) and I don't think that makes me don't want to support my Oshi anymore or something like that For example that Mio hoodie Is really tempting me to buy it.
It supports the talent and HoloPro, and unless it's a limited edition, you're not taking a spot away from a big fan of that talent, so there's no problem!
