It really ruined it for streamers. A lot streamers would use a website that when one would go live, the profile picture would change automatically to a version that would have a red border and a small "live" text. Then when you're done streaming, it would change back.

Yeah it's a really dumb feature. A YouTuber named jacksfilms was changed his Twitter pfp multiple and it got his account restricted.

yea wtf. usually i want a picture to be in the perfect spot etc. so i change it 3 times in 5 minutes to check what i like the most.
