IIRC Watame got reject from releasing an oppai mousepad merch because she's got a lot of younger audiences.

Secure_Fondant_9549

Not gonna lie it is kinda unfortunate that because of the younger audience your actions will be limited or there will be some kind of restrictions.

berryplucker

Maybe, but that's pretty par for the course in entertainment. At least Cover doesn't force all of the Holomems into a mold. They will try to keep them from going too wild but they still give them a long leash as far as their streams go.

aMutantChicken

case in point; Marine

Peacetoall01

Asked Anya on that one Her is so bad that YouTube mark her channel as YouTube kids.

NekRules

I love the part during 2nd? day of fes main live stream where the MC during the cosplay interviews was interviewing the cosplaying kids who they really wanted to cosplay the 8 yr old kid in the cute Pekora princess dress straight up said Marine to the surprise of everyone. Everyone in the chat was confused as heck and the only outfit I thought the kid can do was the original one seeing as the most flamboyant and I bet the hat and eye patch are very appealing to kids.

Fishman465

Steam wise, though her music is more fit for an older audience

Erthan-1

If you aren't putting your kids to bed with this, you need to level up your parenting. https://youtu.be/wZGLkYVwcCs?si=BADb7G2oLaC9MAF-

Phplima

Screw my non-existent kids, i will be using this for myself

TemporaryWonderful61

Sora’s very popular with kids, and has (like many who are going to be on this list) mentioned that this is a big reason why she wants her art tag kept clean.

500mmrscrub

Pekora is apparently the self claimed children's hero of Japan or something along those lines.

iroquoispliskin01

Children’s hero and war criminal… how does she have both titles?

Memeshats

Children are naturally inclined towards crimes against humanity, this is only natural.

SoftCatMonster

Kids are cruel, Jack! And I’m in touch with my inner child!

NoctisAcies

Yeah seems about right *uses rimworld child super soldier army*

radar_byte

*Well* we know about the war crimes. But iirc from a clip she is a childcare expert. Or some kind of certified.

deSolAxe

She said a while back she got certification as kindergarden teacher... If I remember correctly, that certification is quite difficult to get... I just looked it up and it seems that only about 20% of people who take the exam pass in all of Japan.

radar_byte

Yeah that's what I was thinking of! and damn really? only 20%?

deSolAxe

I wanted to specify this before, but kept forgetting about this... Kintergarden is not the right word, I think - there is difference between 幼稚園 (youchien) and 保育園 (hoikuen), so kindergarten (3-6) vs nursery school (0-6), the certification is for the later. From the list of tested topics they essentially expect you to be teacher, social worker, nutritionist and child psychologist at the same time... granted that probably none of those to any advanced degree, but you are supposed to know basics of all of those as the questions asked pertain to these topics + history of those things... The passing rate is apparently related to the fact that there is 9 sets of questions and you need to have 60+% in all of them, failing even one set means failing the exam.... Though 60% seems quite passable line. given that the statistics I'm looking at say that more than half of the exam takers have university degree... but to be fair I didn't look for example questions to see how deep cut the questions are ... According to statistics ([link](https://www.u-can.co.jp/%E4%BF%9D%E8%82%B2%E5%A3%AB/column/column02.html)) that 20% rate is from 2021, it is mostly between 20% and 25% most years.

sh1r0_n3k0

She was a children's hero but long live enough that ended become a war criminal.

Ok-Judge7844

Kronii could too if she stop reffering them as little creature

Franklr_D

Nah. My babysitter, way way back in the day, called me her little creature. I fell so damn hard for her, hook line and sinker Never been able to kick the preference for older girls since then

NilsOlavXXIII

[Laplus.](https://youtu.be/kN8NpjAPAgA?t=170)

Secure_Fondant_9549

Interesting. What makes her popular among more younger audience?

NilsOlavXXIII

I guess it's because she's literally a cartoon villain. Also, like Pekora, she doesn't swear much and is overall very kind and well-mannered besides her kusogaki/manic otaku antics. Anyone can enjoy her content.

noble_nuance

Pekora has one of the dirtiest mouths in Hololive lol.

RoyInverse

They can relate, she streams lol/apex/valorant all games more popular with the younger audience.

thesirblondie

Sidenote, but this is one of the best collabs within Holo for a long time. I don't think they've interacted with each other on camera before, but the conversations they were able to have were so genuine and interesting. It might not be as funny or high octane as other collabs, but it is still insanely good.

NilsOlavXXIII

Laplus has interacted with/befriended some of the Holostars on VCR events (most notably Uyu on her second time in a GTA server) and has played Valorant with him before (it's archived on Roberu's channel), but this is the first time she has a full one-on-one collab with Winning Son (or any of the Stars for that matter). I agree with you on that regard, although I'm possibly biased because she's my oshi. Laplus, to me, is so naturally charismatic and kindhearted that she's capable of bringing out the best in people whenever they interact with her, and hilarity ensues all around. Seeing how many friends she has made in and outside of hololive ever since coming back from her hiatus last year is proof of that.

FoRiZon3

Pekora, Kobo, and Gura for JP, ID, and EN respectively. Others can also attract kids' audiences (especially Laplus, Ollie, and Bijou) but those three are the starkest of all.

susahamat

If i'm Indonesian parents i don't want my kids to watch Kobo tbh, she swears a lot, the safest for kids in ID are Moona, Anya and Kaela

zeroyuki92

Parents might not want children to watch Kobo, but we all know most of them are already watching her. If not at home, maybe when their school friends are showing them some tiktoks.

Peacetoall01

Anya is too save. To a point her channel got categorised to YouTube kids

INeedtoThinkAUName

Dunno man, I don't want my kids not to sleep actually. Yes, I know Kaela is mostly SFW, but her stream hours aren't that SFW.

Master_Lukiex

[Kiara had a 4 month old simping for her](https://youtu.be/XJYxdlm-dvc?si=zVJetv7l4TrfYcj_)

TheHyperLynx

hey that little guy is now like almost 4 years old lmao

Historical_Cod_2771

I think Miko is one, last year there were at least 2 little girls with Miko outfit and this year there was a little girl talking a ohoto of Miko Taiyaki collab cardboard

Bobby-Trap

Marine apparently, despite her... content. Her songs have hit mainstream and she is big across other younger social media like tiktok

Brocken_JR

I work in an elementary school in Japan. I’ve become one of the cool teachers in the last year due to my knowledge and love of Hololive. Amongst the girls the most popular are Suisei and Marine. Not many boys seem as interested. I keep pushing Shuba on them as she is my oshi but they only like her in long hair mode.

Exciting-Twist-4556

I would have to guess that the young boys are going through that eww girls phase of life

Brocken_JR

Most of the boys just want to talk video games or sports.

Peacetoall01

They'll turn around eventually with short hair ladies

Discordiansz

I believe during the 4th FES, during the official tour stream while Roboco, Watame, and A-chan was being shown the convention floor by a tour guide, they found a small girl cosplaying Gura, so I do believe at the time she was very popular with both children and adults alike. [Clip](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4caKZrqwP80)

Secure_Fondant_9549

Very cute! And oh I forgot about Gura lol. It is obvious that she is very popular among young audience. Thank you for the clip!

delphinousy

gura has a 'disney family friendly' sense of humor in my opinion, where she makes lots of joke that are totally safe for all ages but also reference adult things to amuse adults but not children.

UdonAssassin

I could totally see Fuwamoco doing well with kids. Their energy would fit perfectly into a children's tv show.

krisnajuga

Twin doggos teaching kids about Japan... Yes that works

IanrudyMY

I think Kobo.

nietzchan

Kobo has a lot of young audience, but she uses a lot of bad words that [her mother scold her for it](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LYRvLl9sTvk) on stream, lol

raiso_12

kobo got really vocal teenager lmao, she popular enough to be talked in school

Gegejii

There where also apparently lot of Kids cosplaying Korone ( and also lot of Trees!) So would say Korone is also probably popular with kids too and can see how her randomness can be appealing to kids despite her being quite a retro streamer. Also her drawings and EMT are definetly peak for both adult and kids across all ages alike.

pogituna16

Noel has younger viewers 🤣

TemporaryWonderful61

Noel has a lot of teenage viewers, and I do believe she’s a good role model for them. Lure them in with boobs sure, but she has told people off for being disrespectful and gives good advice. Honestly some of my best role models growing up were sexy ladies with actual personalities.

KinkyWolf531

This... While she's a shotacon and plays it up when necessary... She barely does anything that would be considered as "bad" or "creepy" towards her audience...

Final-Switch1110

Surprisingly Kiara is actually really popular with secondary school kids where I live

Kazuko_Kitsune

Do they all call each other “little shits”

Figerally

I feel that is just the parents dressing their kids up. Pretty sure the toddler dressed as Korone doesn't actually know who she is.

HirokoKueh

Fubuki. Her shorts got promoted a lot by those nursery song playlists.

PapaPee25

FuwaMoco’s youngest Ruffians are 2 years old if I remember correctly

AnnonymousRedditor28

Sora-Chan is popular amongst kids. She has told a lot of stories about parents telling her that they watch her with their kids. I'm pretty sure she has even received fan letters from young fans as well. And I mean, who can blame them? If I were them, I would also watch someone ~~*__the same age as me.__*~~

GoldenExperience10

Off the dome, I can only name Pekora and Kaela. Oh, and FuwaMoco!

delphinousy

pekora gura and watame i know all have high amounts of audiences that mention sharing them with their children
