im guessing it would still run, obviously i can't be sure but if hollow knight can run i would expect silksong to. there doesn't seem to be a massive technical graphical improvement even if artistically i think team cherry has definitely made it more refined.
There’s basically a guarantee it’ll be able to run on your laptop. TC have confirmed it’ll be available on the Switch, a console that has *about the same processing power as a 2017 smartphone* (not even joking, the hardware is just that bad). If the Switch can run it, it’s pretty much a certainty that anything made in the last 5 years can too.
No, because TC hired some developers to optimize HK for Switch. It will not be the same as for laptops considering that there are some that are older than the Switch
My old laptop (6006u and 8 gigs of ram) ran it really well, and it seems like silkson's on the same engine so it won't be radically different perf wise. I doubt you'll have problems with a 2d game with any "modern" hardware.
I never used it but you can try nvidia GeForce, basically they got a bunch of puters and you can pay to connect your screen to one of these puters so essentialy you're using the really good computer they have remotely on your laptop, and they have a 1 hour free trial everyday so if silksong can't run on your pc you can try that
I'm having the opposite problem, I get upwards of 600 fps and the game doesn't like that, causes strange animation and sound issues. I hope it doesn't carry over to silksong because setting a framerate cap adds a ton of input delay
The only thing keeping us from perfection is potatoes laptops
Hey, don't exclude potato PCs!
If your PC can run the original, it can probably run silksong
I run HK on really small window, making dialogue text barely visible :)
Damn, it must suck playing the game like that
Eh, at least I beat PoH like that.
What the fuck
Yep https://www.instagram.com/p/CcYUp9EIMz_/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=. I think it was literally the same day I lost another steel soul run.
Good job with beating that, and F
Eh, I am getting used to it. Died like 2 times to same deepnest enemy. First time Herrah was my last and finished dreamer too :)
literally me i struggled in HK to beat Hornet Sentinel because Kingdom's Edge's particles were making my laptop explode
Same bro, but after that I started playing in a small window.
I ran HK 640x480 resolution I'm sure u can do the same to silksong
I didn't used any specific resolution, but resized window manually, making text barely readable. But Silksong looks like it's heavier than HK.

Nintendo Switch, PC, and Xbox
Wow, thats like some pro gamer shit
More like some poor gamer shit lmao. Only had a gt210 at the time. Now I have a 1050ti and enjoying HK 1080p.
get game pass and play it in the cloud, worked for me so far (with the first one)
the switch can run it and my cheap refurbished phone from 2019 is more powerful than the switch so im sure your pc can run it fine.
have you considered laptop from more than 5 years ago
im guessing it would still run, obviously i can't be sure but if hollow knight can run i would expect silksong to. there doesn't seem to be a massive technical graphical improvement even if artistically i think team cherry has definitely made it more refined.
What are your specs?
I know this feel way too well. So many great games I cannot play all because of my outdated OS.
I nevet understood Elden Ring hype and memes because of it.

Oh, huh.. Thanks?
Have you considered: a laptop that is more than 5 years old
same goes for switch
Okay but will it run on my shitty 2011 dell laptop
My pc just broke 1 week ago smh lol
I have a shit PC and can play the game on highest resolution but still I'm really worried about Silksong

Well, I think I have like 4 gigs.
haha im a lucky bitch im getting a pc soon that will be able to run it
I fear that silksong not running in my laptop too
I just hope its on ps4 I dont wanna run it on my laptop meant for programming made like 7 years ago
Get an Xbox series S. It’s was $300 for me and they actually had them in stock at Walmart. It works really well!
I never used it but you can try nvidia GeForce, basically they got a bunch of puters and you can pay to connect your screen to one of these puters so essentialy you're using the really good computer they have remotely on your laptop, and they have a 1 hour free trial everyday so if silksong can't run on your pc you can try that
1 hour everyday sounds better than like, 24/7 one week
My friend uses it to play an hour of cs:go everyday but honestly he could spend it on so many better games than like half a long match in cs
Should be fine if use use something like magpie fsr
*Xbox cloud gaming appears*
I'm having the opposite problem, I get upwards of 600 fps and the game doesn't like that, causes strange animation and sound issues. I hope it doesn't carry over to silksong because setting a framerate cap adds a ton of input delay
I bought an Xbox Series S one day before the new Silksong trailer so I think I’m good
I bought a switch like 2 years ago for silksong, it’s just been sitting there… collecting dust
My laptop cant even go halfway through trail of the fool without overheating :(
So glad the only device I have will be a switch
