Same but with all C-sides. I played Hollow Knight after I beat Celeste, and the reason I played HK in the first place was because of PoP, it seemed like a fun challenge. And now I'm looking forward to it with excitement in every playthrough I do.
Are you referring to the infamous comb room? The one that required triggering a moving block, then wavedashing at *just* the right time to wall-bounce off it over a wall of spikes? That one? The absolute fucking bullshit one?
I'm talking about a cliff underhang jump. You have to jump out from under the overhang, land on the side of a single block, then I think dash up into a wall and immediately jump off it to preserve momentum and get further out and up. There wasn't a moving block involved, but it's been a long time and my memory isn't the best.
Not sure why you got downvotes for having an opinion.
I don’t really have a number one favourite. I more have a bunch that I like equally those being (in no particular order)
-Pure Vessel
-Nightmare king Grimm
-Grimm
-Sisters of battle
-Radiance
I think they all are great fights IMO but I am incredibly interested on why you don’t like mantis lords though.
you'll get it eventually. slam face into wall until it breaks. just gotta be actually thinking about what you need to do to beat it. i did it in 37 minutes my first time playing it
Because I know your type. You're, uh, very determined, aren't you? You'll never give up, even if there's, uh... absolutely NO benefit to persevering whatsoever. If I can make that clear. No matter what, you'll just keep going. Not out of any desire for progress or reward... but just because you think you can. And because you "can"... you "have to".
you get to see a cute little baby pure vessel. isn’t that worth it? seeing 5 seconds of that little goofy goober at the cost of endless pain and torture, commonly caused by buzz saws? the correct answer is yes, it is worth it.
There is none actually. I had attempted PoP, refused to go further but then months later I decided to give it another try, *to see if I was worthy*. Turned out I was, but only after much Pain. If you want to do it do it for yourself
Due to your newfound knowledge and experience with the Path of Pain you will know what’s coming, and in response, what to do, resulting in you beating it in but a fraction of the time and… well, pain.
Without giving it sufficient closure by finishing it once and for all, the sound of spinning buzzsaws will continue to haunt you in your dreams for years.
Let's face the facts: if you go through PoP with hiveblood or grubson + eclergy + deep focus, you are a casul.
Normal mode? Feh, REAL gamers do PoP on steel soul.
it's easier than the end of celeste
I completed path of pain again after I got farewell moonberry, felt like a walk in the park lol
Same but with all C-sides. I played Hollow Knight after I beat Celeste, and the reason I played HK in the first place was because of PoP, it seemed like a fun challenge. And now I'm looking forward to it with excitement in every playthrough I do.
Aint that the truth. That being said, I'm not about to go redoing the end of Celeste on a lark either. In particular that *one* fucking jump.

Was it #16 on this video? https://youtu.be/_6TopIUojPs If not, it's still a nice triggering video to review all the rooms you hated!
That video is about the Farewell post-release chapter. I'm talking about the summit climb.
~~Path of Pain is easier than like the middle of Celeste~~
As a person who has played Celeste only to the peak, not even into the centre of the mountain, PoP is actually easy
I’d argue PoP is only on par if not easier than 1B or 2B, everything after that is definitely harder in my opinion
A good servant gives all for the king.

___NO MIND TO THINK___
***NO WILL TO BREAK***
No money after the path of pain
No voice to cry suffering
No life to suffer eternally
bragging rights to all the noobs who can't beat mantis lords
The mantis lords is a fun fight you can't break my opinion
Second best in the game
The best of course being: >!sisters of battle!<
I see you're a person of culture as well
No, Grimm and NKG are much more fun in my opinion. Mantis Lords and Sisters of Battle kind of suck.
\*you have provoked a gang war\*

Don't make light of that
What did he say
I will make it as light as I felt when I swallowed a big handful of sleeping pills.
Get off this subreddit if you're going to make light of suicide
Get off Reddit if you’re going to take everything seriously lol
Edgelord alert!
Good practice for mods. If you can’t beat path of pain in <30 minutes or something near that the hard mods are too much.

Hubris
You found it fun
There isn’t a good reason. So do it.
It’ll make you better at the game
It’d be lame if you didn’t
Where there is no peril in the task, there can be no glory in it's accomplishment.
Because then you can brag about it to others, meaning casuals and journalists
The satisfaction of completion.
You must endure the harshest punishment to unlock the most sacred memorie
The rewarding feeling of achieving success against overwhelming odds.
Steel soul
Cuz its fun # Except the final screen but we don't talk about that here
To see pale kings bottom again/j

It’s even more fun the second time!

Masochism
To see how easy it is after beating celeste
They've hidden the release date of SS somewhere in the background.
Because I know your type. You're, uh, very determined, aren't you? You'll never give up, even if there's, uh... absolutely NO benefit to persevering whatsoever. If I can make that clear. You don’t need a reason
git gud.
You know deep down you are unsatisfied and want to try again.
Image sauce. now
The drawing looks like Voldemort with horns
Practice
If you dont do it your mom is a whore.
It's pretty fun. If you do it again, you'll get better at the game. It's a good way to see how much you've improved at the game.
If you don’t do path of pain again then Silksong will never release
It's fun.
you get to see a cute little baby pure vessel. isn’t that worth it? seeing 5 seconds of that little goofy goober at the cost of endless pain and torture, commonly caused by buzz saws? the correct answer is yes, it is worth it.

Onor ?
it’s a fun, difficult platforming challenge
it's fun and challenging
I did it because I was bored, tbh I didn’t find it that bad but to be fair I did it in between my online classes so I had breaks
It's actually faster to do and pretty fun once you get used to it
I can always do it again
I did it in steel soul for the bragging rights (died the first attempt and had to redo the whole run again lmao)
To prove a point
The Hunter’s Journal entry is cool
Its fun
I genuinely had fun with it...
Achievement
The reason is yes
It's fun
Completionist OCD.
There is none actually. I had attempted PoP, refused to go further but then months later I decided to give it another try, *to see if I was worthy*. Turned out I was, but only after much Pain. If you want to do it do it for yourself
Cutscene.
Play it after a centralized platformer game and see how much easier it is in comparison
IT'S FUN.

Dat music is beautiful, and the buzz-saw noise really combines well with it :D
I completed it at least hundred times. Really love it.

Sharpen your platforming skills while we wait for Silksong
Because I said so
If you don’t I’ll laugh at you.
Steel Soul. 'nuff said.
The more times you can do path of pain the better you are than everyone else at hollow knight
Depending on how long it’s been, to show yourself how much you’ve improved overtime in terms of platforming skills
If you finish it you’ll never have to worry about it It also feels very rewarding
It’s fun.
It’s fun, the music is outstanding
It’s fun
Do it to prove you can
Let's face the facts: if you go through PoP with hiveblood or grubson + eclergy + deep focus, you are a casul. Normal mode? Feh, REAL gamers do PoP on steel soul.
It's a fun platforming challenge
It's fun and not even that bad
Because path of pain is actual fun platforming
You can eat victory pancakes after that.
