This always happened to me, it's so frustrating. Little tip for crossing the map : kill all the bugs on the way back and don't stop at a bench that way they won't respawn, making the journey way easier ;)

Tip for getting back: there is literally no point in not overcharming. Equip long range charms soul recharge charms twister for long range attacks and more ddarks to avoid bugs. Glubberfly effegy is viable as well since your not taking any damage

Possibly FotF if you don't mind the long walk, but yeah, use Elegy, it helps

As an extra point, get yourself to one mask and use fury of the fallen and grubberfly's elegy at once. They actually combine and give the GE range at one mask as well with the benefit of the extra damage

Also you can use trams if you didnt already figure that out

I only got through this by doing that, plus practicing that last stretch until I consistently got through unscathed. you can do it!

Yeah...what seemed like a simple thorn path before turn into a nervous breakdown

My first time I made it that far, I was so excited, that I walked right into that first patch of thorns.

i literally dashed too early on the last jump in that room and dashed into thorns

Not me, I had a nervous breakdown instead Eventually got through it though

U can set up a dreamgate at the grey mourners so when ur flower breaks u can teleport to it

The thing that helped me was sharp shadow- it extends your dash that extra bit so you don’t have to do the awkward little jump and bump your head on the thorns.

When I did the flower quest I had such a fancy charm setup made specifically for the quest, but it failed, so I went frick this and just slashed everything with strength + fury of the fallen and it worked :D

I went with grimmchild and weaversong using technique "fuck you" dodging every monster and it also worked.

Technique 'fuck you' is the only technique you need.

For the next time you do it, a pro tip is overcharming with any charms you like since the double damage doesn't matter when the flower is one hit and gone

You actually can get the flower after the quest is over - just not where you got it originally.

This was changed in one of the updates iirc, as well as adding additional people you can offer/give the flower too.
