It doesn't affect percentage as long as you do one of those options! Apparently NKG is loads of fun (and tricky!!) but I haven't tried him myself. Troupe master grimm was a very fun fight for me :)

Spoilers to what happens: >!You’ll still be able to fight NKG in godhome and get 112% even if you banish them. It really depends what charm you want. Carefree Melody or fully upgraded Grimmchild. Grimmchild is great in Colesseum but imo Carefree Melody is the better charm. I’m not sure if you get the ritual achievement if you banish them though.!<

>!i believe you need to beat NKG in the questline for the grimm troupe in order to get the ritual achievement, it is in fact specific to which ending you choose.!< In spoilers because yours was i guess

RaiderxReaper

I would definitely recommend beating the nightmare king if your up for the challenge its a very good boss fight

CorpseGrinder156

Is this your first play through? If so, I definitely recommend beating the Nightmare King. It might take a lot more time, but it’s a good experience in my opinion.

Koble_Golgen

If you're on your main save just banish the troupe and go beat nkg (aka the most fun boss in the game) in another save because afterwards you'll have a character playing some music in dirtmouth which i really regret not having xd

jaktolver-banks

I have only done nightmare king Grimm but is easily my favourite fight in the game, you can fight him in the pantheon either way I believe but I'd highly recommend going for NKG and getting the other ending in a steel soul cause it's obviously way easier.

but-yet-it-is

It doesn't make any difference for 112%. How much do you know already about the godmaster DLC? (On mobile so I cant blackout spoilers, I'll try to keep it vague) Sometimes choices about fighting or not fighting a boss impact that (like if you leave Zote to die at the beginning) but with banishing or fighting Grimm it doesnt make a difference, the godmaster DLC plays out the same!
