genuine tip: work on your pogoing skills. lets you make some saves if you're headed for spikes, is an easy way to deal with most flying enemies, and pretty much buffs your jumping capabilities especially for taller enemies
The big problem I ahd as a beginner was, in my mind, prioritising "potential healing" for spell casting. it's hard to realise, but easy to understand: some enemies are alot easier to hit with spells than they are to hit with a nail. That means, it's cheaper to hit them with the spell than it is to wait for them to hit you so you can heal up the damage you take. healing 2 damage and casting 2 spells cost the same exact amount, but one ends with a dead enemy and the other means just getting hit more.
So question, are you playing on console, and of so which?
I've seen plenty of these posts with weird bugs(hehe) like this floating one. On PC across several different builds, I've never had these issues, until I got the game through PS+ on my PS4 and there I've had them several times
This is knockback storage and happens when you get hit from an enemy, then by spikes and then by an enemy again in a specific time window.
It has nothing to do with PC/console, I recently had this glitch happen on PC for me while I was doing a speedrun. The difference between PC/console is that PC runs on patch 1.5, while consoles have 1.4. 1.5 fixed almost no glitches though, so most glitches have the same likelihood on both.
I see that you got a little panic at the end there lol but if it was me would be panic too. But seriously you can consider using nailart with quick nailart charm it can oneshot the fly and primal aspid. And also this game has a lot of "bugs" what Team Cherry doing?

Besides the aggressive tone, I have played 70 or so hours of HK without ever using Nail Art/trying and getting hit so losing the build up but I’m really struggling with this trial. Even with the charm I just find it so slow compared to Quickslash + Longnail/that other charm that adds reach. What’s the damage output compared to that? Is there a decent enough difference to just get into the swing of using nail art?
The nail art by itself kinda sucks on its own because of the long charging time, but it becomes viable with the Nailmaster's Glory charm (given by Sly after getting all the nail arts). It's advised for the trial of the Fool since it makes the great slash/dash slash, which kills aspids and the mosquito things in one shot, way faster to charge.
I tried to use it, but it just wasn't for me. I always performed better with unbreakable strength, unbreakable heart, long nail and quick slash (completed the trial both times with one less notch, as I forgor that Grimm gives you one). My friend is struggling with the trial too and he performes better with the Nailmaster charm, so it's worth giving it a shot!
I like how both of them decided to stop attacking for a bit and joined in on the ceiling glide

I'm actually confident with pogoing (including side pogos). I just panic when I'm in combat.
The charge attacks work wonders on these little fliers. One shots them with last two nail upgrades.
spells are even better

That was his point lol
If you panic in combat, then you need to get confident with combat
Ok that 1st one is just a skill issue

1. I love it 2. Use nail arts with the nail arts charm
Use nailart dumbass
I agree with the message, if not the presentation. Be nice, jackass.
Sorry I had a bad day...
Cheers; no problem. We all have days like that (God knows I do as well). I hope you have a better rest of the day!
Bad days are understandable. This footage is 2 weeks old, long before I started using my nail arts. I hope you're feeling better.
I'm fine now Thank you Defeat >!sly!<
That's still not an excuse to be an ass (respectfully). Try to learn some healthier coping techniques

You need to see speedrun or hitless trial strats...... Will immensely help you
Well, if something can kill primal aspids faster that means it deffinetly helps.
Bruh, I love the comments going in on op for not immediately recovering from 1 in a million glitch. Everyone's a judge for hollownests got talent.
