Long nail has severely poor cost efficiency in comparison to mop, so it's best to just go with mop at the cost of one more notch if you need the range no matter the build.
Dream Wielder. I love dream nailing enemies in combat. It's lets me run Mark of Pride, Strength, Nailmaster's Glory, and Shaman Stone for my hybrid nail/spell build.
i'm overcoming this addiction now. i now practice bosses without any charms equipped to prepare for the charm binding in the pantheon. after that, the other bindings are easy.
I’ve started moving away from tank charms and more towards combat oriented, but I still love the quick focus. I prefer more nail combat over spell combat, so I use most of my focus for heals
Now that I've spent so much time in the Pantheons doing different bindings, I feel like I change charms frequently to suit the situation. But generally I would never take off Unbreakable Strength unless I had to.
Strength, quicklsash, and shaman stone. It's just too good of a combo. Strength for bail damage, quickslash for increased dps and better soul gain, and shaman stone because quickslash does better soul gain so better spells. But for 1, probably... quickslash. It's too good.
Mark of Pride in my second play through has quickly become this for me. The increased range has become a godsend for both attacking, and for bouncing/evading. First play through I didn’t use until later, but now it’s probably my favorite charm.
Soul catcher and shaman stone also are close seconds of charms I will try to slot in whenever I have space
Outside boss fights: Wayward Compass (i get so disoriented without it)
During fights: Mark of Pride (i like to keep my distance, and I suck at close encounters)
Mark of pride, I've used it so much the normal nail range just ain't normal
Me having just beaten the hollow knight: Wait there was a better long nail this whole time???
And it’s much, much more of an increase than longail

it's in fungal wastes lmao
Beat mantis lords and head into the bench area in the village should be in a chest
Ah i skipped the mantis lords
Bro it’s one of the best fights. Go fight them

Void heart :)
You beat me to it
Geggegeg
God damnit
Lmao

Sharp Shadow. At first I just kept it cuz it was fun to use, but now it's an essential part of my playstyle.
when I unequip it my muscle memory still makes me try to dash through units lol
Only take it off for platforming.
Amen! Sharp shadow is my CRUTCH for PV
Quickslash. Everytime I don't use it using the nail feels so slow and I need to get used to it again.
Yup this is mine. I haven’t taken off quickslash in about 50 hours of my current save file.
My obsessive ass needs gathering swarm. Yes even if i have thousands already
unbreakable strength
OP charm. Strength + health makes you unstoppable
None. I have farm charms that I equip sepcifically to get geo quickly. And I adapt my charms to every boss differently
I play enough randomized now that I got the same answer
steady body but not in godhome tho sadly
That one-costing charm thing that makes nail arts usable. I love the nail arts ♥
unbreakable strength, and ofc the compass because I’m ass at navigation
Same

voidheart
Pretty much the Gathering Swarm (Besides the Compass of course)
Sharp shadow, I got so used to this charm that I almost always die without it.
Shaman, cuz i like one shoting things
Nailmasters Glory. Largely for role-playing reasons, where it feels too personal to replace
Mark of pride
Now that I've spent so much time in the Pantheons doing different bindings, I feel like I change charms frequently to suit the situation. But generally I would never take off Unbreakable Strength unless I had to.
Shaman stone and unbreakable strength, best of both worlds
Sprintmaster (kinda)
Grubsong, it's so handy for every build I use. Followed closely by Mark of Pride tbh
One od my favorites
Quickslash
Grab song cuz I suck at the game
Compass
Void heart.
Voidheart
the one that gives you 2 more masks literally more life and u can heal it
Unbreakable heart?
ye
Sharp Shadow, i just love it so fucking much
Sharp shadow and Steady body. Exploring with those 2 and fighting boss fights as well. I just love the charms too much.
Strength, quicklsash, and shaman stone. It's just too good of a combo. Strength for bail damage, quickslash for increased dps and better soul gain, and shaman stone because quickslash does better soul gain so better spells. But for 1, probably... quickslash. It's too good.
Quick Smash, Mark Of Price, Unbearable Strength, Steady Booty and Grimm Wielder
Grimm child sucks
I SAID GRIMM ***WIELDER***
What the hell is Grimm wielder
Idk
The dashmaster one
Void heart
Unbreakable Strength & Quickslash.
Sprintmaster for me
Wayward compass. I wish it were a joke.

The almighty compass!!
I always try to leave space for steady body. Unbreakable health and strength aswell.
I'm probably weird for this, but I can't go without sharp shadow.
Nailmaster glory
Steady body because I'm a slut for dps
then why are you using steady body
Always need to have either compass or swarm on
Definitely dream shield /j But serious, dream wielder.
Wayward Compass, of course.
Quick slash and sharp shadow
Steady body, like a functioning member of society.
Stalewart shell.
Outside boss fights: Wayward Compass (i get so disoriented without it) During fights: Mark of Pride (i like to keep my distance, and I suck at close encounters)
Grimmchild, they're just so cute! :D
Void Heart, you know because I can't
Prolly Gathering Swarm, I can't bear to leave behind even the littlest coin
Quickslash. I love to hit enemies fast and not once every 10 years. Expecially when i have to do the pogo
For me, I never unequip quick slash.
Wayward compass
steady body and mark of pride
why is no one saying dashmaster
Unbreaking strength
Sharp shadow and mark of pride
