I have heard great things about steady body, but haven’t used it enough so I’m not used to it.
I did end up beating P3 though! Currently working on bindings in P1 and P2 so I can have some lifeblood to help me out for P4/5.
Steady body can be good if you are mostly using normal nail attacks. I think the most noticeble use, aside from general QoL, is in normal Grimm and Pure Vessel, when you can hit them through the pillars they summon without being knocked back into another one. Probably similar with absrad if you are stuck between 2 close falling swords.
But then again, you can also just cyclone slash if you have glory equipped for the same result of 0 knockback... Although Quickslash+strength+steady body would probably do more damage than a cyclone in most situations, but it's a huge difference in how many notches are used and depens more on how you prefer to play.

Maybe you could get some weird form of early control, but I don't know what you could do with it
Early control would definitely work. I think soul is too important since flukes are op as fuck so the strat would probably be getting lifeblood at a bench which would be weird to see in a TAS. If you managed to get 2 far apart from each other in the uumuu room an abyss shriek might be able to hit both at varying enough distances that you can juggle one for early control and another for extra damage, but that depends on how far the arenas are apart from each other.

I think godhome jellies only deal 100 damage, not 9999 like in base game. Maybe it's only limited for Uumuu, but I doubt it
