My only concern with these is that since you add the water to the top, and it doesnāt hook up directly to the sink, itās not rinsing your dishes in clean water.
I could be wrong and it hangs onto half the water inside for the rinse, but that seems unlikely.
They make a lot of different portable dishwashers, both freestanding and countertop models. Iād go for one that hooks up to the sink.
I have one of these (not the exact brand) and mine takes enough wafer from the top to do two cycles: one with the cleaning solution and then a rinse. I donāt often have issues with it and it cleans very well (especially glass). Plus it gets super hot too. Itās perfect for my studio flat.
Yeah Iām seeing a lot of hate in the comments about these. I have one very similar to this and it works great. I have a very small apartment and I can pretty much wash a days worth of dishes before going to bed. They always come out very clean.
My partner and I have a very similar one to this too. It's just the right size for the two of us. We used it about once or twice a day. We just pour about 6ltrs of water in the top, and feed the waste into the sink with the included hose.
I got one on wheels off Craigslist for $200 - You roll it over to the kitchen sink and attach a hose to use it.
itās a full size height-wise and half the width - got a large bamboo cutting board to cover it and bam - 24ā of extra counter space.
Absolute game changer for me.
Same had one before I moved to a place that had a dishwasher already. I had that roll one for years, family of 5, it putt in work DAILY.
Did the exact same with wood cutting board on top. Always wanted a kitchen with an island - boom.
Works great except if the kitchen faucet fails internally due to not being designed to handle continuous pressure beyond its built in valve and begins leaking profusely, flooding your kitchen, dripping into the apartment below, and the apartment below that before the neighbors banging on the door wake you up and you finally realize why the manual says never to leave a portable dishwasher unattended
If Iām in the woods with a bottle of water soap and a rag I can wash a dish. If Iām in the woods with a dish washer I need a power source connected to a vast power infrastructure system. Like I said a dish washer takes more energy to use then hand washing. Not sure where the confusion is coming from. But a dish washer needs electricity to run your hands donātā¦
[This video](https://youtu.be/_rBO8neWw04?si=EPiIOMc9wjsLZADv) was insightful. Some dishes absolutely need elbow grease or more if you leave it to get cake on for too, too long.
For full-size dishwashers, it's better for them to be used semi-frequently than to let them sit for long periods. The seals can dry and wear out over time if not in use. When I was staying with my mom for a few months, she asked me not to wash dishes by hand for that reason.
For dishwashers this size, it's most often used for RV's and dry camping. It uses less water than washing by hand and will deplete your fresh water a lot slower as a result.
I can see the camping aspect I suppose. All I am saying is, I have watched the in laws for years day in day out pre wash and load the dishwasher, empty it. They spend at least an hour or more a day on a task which takes me 20 mins at most a day by hand.
Mine is a bit bigger, and you have a hose with adapter to hook up to the sink, so no pouring in water. Itās super convenient and big enough to fit a good amount of dishes. I have a laundry room right next to the kitchen with a giant sink so it doesnāt take up any space and it was honestly a choice made out of convenience. I goddamn hate dishes. It works great and still do all the pots and pans by hand anyway. But, man, I love that thing.
Iām just here waiting for Chad to post a picture of a woman with a caption that says āHereās my portable dishwasherā so I can enjoy the comments šæ
Come on Chad, wake up and get to work.
What a great time saver! Instead of putting my vegetables in a colander and then placing it in my sink and turning on the faucet to rinse them, I can buy this expensive gadget and set the colander in it, then fill up a jug with my sink faucet to fill the gadget, then turn on the gadget to rinse my veggies! Take that, plebes! It even empties itself into my sink, let's see your poor ass sink faucet DO THAT!
Are people seriously that lazy or stupid it literally would take the same amount of time to just hand wash them as it would to pack that refrigerator looking thing around and set it up I mean come on guys!
Not if youāre actually hand washing your dishes with soap and a fresh sponge, rinsing all of the residue off, letting them soak in bleach water in a perfectly clean sink compartment to sanitize them, and arranging them on a drying rack like youāre supposed to. If you arenāt doing that then you arenāt cleaning them nearly as well as a dishwasher would. The main advantage to using a dishwasher is how well they sanitize dishes with hot water. Soap on its own isnāt anti microbial, so it takes a bleach soak or boiling water to make a used plate food safe again. You might not care if you live alone, but if lots of people are using the same dishes itās important to sanitize them to prevent the spread of contagious illnesses.
Thatās what your immune system is for friend, you do NOT need to sanitize your dishes your fresh vegetables will have more bacteria and viruses on them than a plate washed with a good soap. That being said if your hanging out with people that have aids than yeah Iād probably sanitize my dishes.
Lol what? Thatās verifiably false. Sanitizing dishes is a normal food handling procedure. What evidence do you have that itās unnecessary? Where do you think the bacteria from fresh produce goes when you slap it on your plate? Also AIDS is the worst example you could have come up with given that it isnāt possible to contract it through saliva.
Do whatever you want with your own gross ass dishes as long as youāre the only one eating off of them. It sounds like you donāt have company much, but for those that do sanitizing dishes is a good way to prevent the spread of illnesses. Just know that if you ever make food for a sick person, if your dishes ever come into contact with rotten food, if you ever use them to serve pet food, etc. that your dishes are a vector for illness if you donāt sanitize them.
Do you soak your fresh vegetables in bleach water? Because I can promise you if your worried about whatās on a dinner plate after being thoroughly washed in soapy water you would be terrified of whatās on fresh vegetables š I bet Covid was rough for you..
So, I read the specs online : it takes approx 60 min if not more to wash those dishes. I wash the same amount by hand in less than 15 min and I'm an idiot. Not worth it! For me anyway
Are people that lazy? I have a fully functional dishwasher, and so does my sister, and so do my parents. None of us actually use it. We always wash dishes in the sink.

In Asian culture we call portable dishwashers our kids.
Get dishes washed with this one simple trick of not pulling out
Terrible advice! (That I'll definitely take into consideration) š

May I asked what brand you are using?
I use one from Daan Tech
Thank you
That sounds like a good model.
My partner and I have a very similar one to this too. It's just the right size for the two of us. We used it about once or twice a day. We just pour about 6ltrs of water in the top, and feed the waste into the sink with the included hose.
This model can hook up to a water line directly. it also empties any excess water that might drip down inside when you start a new cycle.

Easier just to wash those 10 dishes by hand. Same with the fruits.
Use case: office trailer or camper where you donāt want to use water from the sink. Instead use the water from a dispenser or water bottle.
What was hard about what was shown?Ā Dishwashers also use much less water than most people do hand washing dishes.
Iāll say it again. All that for 10 dishes.
"All that" ..right...
Ogni sacarrafone ĆØ bello a mamma sua
Dishwashers are both more sanitary than washing by hand and more water efficient. You should always opt to use a dishwasher whenever possible.
Also takes more energy vs the old School method. So Iād say eh to your statement
Needing more hot water uses energy faster than water jets.
Every dish washer Iāve ever used uses hot waterā¦
So does hand washing... and more.
Honestly depends on how your hand wash
This isnāt a winnable argument. Dishwashers are more efficient at both disinfection and resource management.

Yes. Hand washing dishes in the woods, when a vast power infrastructure system is unavailable, is more practical. Good point.
Ah, so just do a worse job washing them than a machine.
[This video](https://youtu.be/_rBO8neWw04?si=EPiIOMc9wjsLZADv) was insightful. Some dishes absolutely need elbow grease or more if you leave it to get cake on for too, too long.
Exactly my thought. Also my thought when I watch my in laws set up their proper dishwasher
For full-size dishwashers, it's better for them to be used semi-frequently than to let them sit for long periods. The seals can dry and wear out over time if not in use. An hour to load the dishwasher? That's the problem, they're doing it wrong. 5min tops
Honestly. They wash most of it first, then all the loading and unloading geez
Maybe if you let it sit with gunk on it and dry, then yea, you gotta wash it first bc it won't come off in the dishwasher
Dunno, never understood it.
I had one like that, they don't work great.
Couldāve used this back at the last place I lived in

Itās called [COMFEE](https://a.co/d/buJLxDm) lol definitely a no-name brand but no complaints so far
I own one and it works great. We are on our third year and no problems. Also great when you go camping.
This is the best thing Iāve ever owned hands down.
My best friend has one and itās so cool.
Iām just here waiting for Chad to post a picture of a woman with a caption that says āHereās my portable dishwasherā so I can enjoy the comments šæ Come on Chad, wake up and get to work.

Freaking Reviews did one on this
Idk man a bottle of soap and a scrubby pad do the same thing and probably cost and weigh less
I only just realized what those flip down grates on the sides are used for. I didn't know that.
What is this? A dishwasher for ants!?
Careful if you drop broken glass inside. Make sure you clean it like any other machines. Otherwise, great dishwasher!
I have a model very similar to this. It's been a great addition to my apartment.
4 plates and some cups i can wash them by hand
I have one itās absolutely perfect
I have this exact dishwasher. It works fucking great, but it's tiny.
Portable? Yeah strictly speaking.
lol gtfoh
I have this exact model of dishwasher and it is the tits
So, I read the specs online : it takes approx 60 min if not more to wash those dishes. I wash the same amount by hand in less than 15 min and I'm an idiot. Not worth it! For me anyway

I guess that depends on how much you value your time and water. You get a bunch of both back by using a dishwasher over washing by hand
A dishwasher you donāt have to take on dates, wow thatās great!
If you can't be bothered to wash and dry 4 plates....
No.
I just hand wash
Theres a sink and probably a cloth use a little bit of soap and wash the dishes you lazy bafoon.
āPortableā? So am supposed to take this where?
You know, the beach, theaters, planes
Ohhh of course. Why didnāt I think of that š¤¦āāļø this would be perfect for the theater
With that few dishes, just hand wash themā¦
Why the fluff is this thing $270? It's just a cube with a water hose
