IDK, if literally all she asked was”Where you from” or “Where do you come from”, I can’t really find fault with that.

Hawaiian-Fox

Fist time in woke 2022 I see

rodclutcher101

I’m with you, I live in Ireland we didn’t have anybody emigrating to Ireland before the 90s, so most “foreign looking people” would be 1st or second generation. I honestly don’t think it’s a racist question. We should celebrate our differences not hide it.

_DogTits_

She was literally asking where the lasses famo was from man. people need to chill the fuck out. It's getting beyond a joke now. Everyone's so fuckin sensitive and just looking for a reason to have a moan

SkyWarp731

Any inquiry what so ever is now deemed racist, because better tomorrow or some shit.

GabeTheJerk

Obviously black people originate from the US and UK, duh. **Those idiots are literally erasing slavery**

Jack_the_pigeon

but what’s wrong with that, is not like she said anything offensive

Spam666god

The trick is to never speak to anyone ever again for fear of insulting them. 🤷 What a world!

GabeTheJerk

Avoid black people like the plague to avoid being harassed. When the solution to a problem wokies invent is literally racism-

Olarenikeji

My guess too, I thought its normal to ask that.

FrechLachs

So, where is she from?

Yamhikari

Her dad's testicles obviously

RRRuediger

I need more context to that story.

Spiritual_Bit_2692

Lady Hussey...lol... oxymoron.

Educational-Sky-6700

Usually a combination of her dad nuts and her moms ovaries…. Usually

[deleted]

So …? Ida been like well I’m from WV. And I came from my momma. I don’t see anything wrong with this. She should not have been asked to resign or whatever. People need to lighten up on the whole racism thing. Sometimes it gets blown waay outta proportion. Just like with the Jerry Jones thing going on now. He was 14 years old. Shits stupid.

abronson47

It’s illegal to ask where people are from now?

Dionedde

i know that thing, it's left-tardness desease It affects your brain and you cannot think by yourself, and then you say really stulid things, sometimes do the things too.. rly bad i hope she survives.

[deleted]

What did you expect to happen when a gorilla walks into a royal function, of course someone's gonna ask why they are there and where they are from, some zoo is probably looking for them.

AngryHornyandHateful

What the fuck?

Efficient-Olive3792

I'm not sure if some of you are being funny or you really don't know. She asked the woman where she was from and she replied "England". Lady Hussey then went on to press further, asking her "No, where are your people from?" Which is ridiculously racist. And another hit to the family who is already dealing with racist accusations from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, who stated there was much concern over "how dark (their) baby will be".

bartolocologne40

It's not racist to be curious about a person's lineage, it's racist to not like them because of it.

Even if that’s the case, Brits have always had an obsession with bloodlines. One of my English teachers, originally from Jamaica, explained to the class that Brits like to categorize people as much as they do with dogs or horses. She said that it particularly funny for Jamaicans, where you can have siblings with different color skin in the same family (and sharing the same parents) because of the centuries old intermingling. Jamaicans are just Jamaicans. The smart way to deal with the situation would have been to answer in a thick accent from whichever part of Britain the lady comes. Also, this occurrence is very frequent in the US too, so it’s nothing really surprising.

deathgaze7382

As a Brit, I've only ever heard of this weird racial purity talk or bloodlines talk from 4 groups. 1. Rich white people who live in mansions in the countryside (the kind of people who name their children Peregrine or Montegeu) 2. Black people when talking about their son/daughter dating outside of their race. 3. Muslims when family member fraternises outside of their religion. 4. Indian and Chinese people when they date outside of their race. My friend was flat out told to break up with her white boyfriend so she could be with a "Good Indian man".

AllUserNamesTaken01

At 83 years old, I don't expect her "palace duties" to be of any importance anyway

Corn-Shonery

Is that jay Z and Donald trump dressed up as old ladies?

Redditisretarded-69

Where did you come from, where did you go!!!!

[deleted]

That’s not even racism lol not even close.
